The implications of people like this staffing the hospitals of America are horrific – the only silver-lining is they do it to themselves too, my neighbor the Trump hater is in the “Re-hab” facility with a knee injury. They’ve got her in bed 24/7, no one will help her to the bathroom so she has to do it all over herself and lay there in her own excrement for hours until they change her Depends.
Then she’s scheduled for a whopping 15 minutes of therapy a day but the therapists hardly ever shows up. That’ll be a month without movement with a severe knee injury until they’ve collected all the insurance money, then they’ll send her home a physical wreck.

years ago my daughter had knee surgery at northwestern hospital
in Chicago. I stayed with her 24/7, took her to the bathroom and went
out to find the nurse or nurses aid when they didn’t answer the call button
patients down the hall were screaming for help; no one came. I wandered
down the halls all over the floor we were on to find them assistance.
In the morning I complained to management and both my daughter and I
were interviewed extensively. I hope the nurses/nurses aid were fired.
Maybe they have no friends because of their odious behavior.

Took the lite rail last week to and from Sea-Tac Airport. Picked up family members arriving from out of state. First thing out of one sister’s mouth: Take the seats at the very back with the wall behind them. As the train picked up more and more passengers at each stop along the way, it was obvious that many passengers were eyeballing the other passengers, deciding who would be safe to sit or stand next to.
Several podcasters I listen to have already mentioned the connection between the MN shooter at the Catholic school, Iryna, and Charlie. All within what, about a week?

It means individuals who would constitute “the militia”. Not young children, not criminals, not crazies. In other words, those individuals who would be capable of gathering when need be as citizen soldiers.
State laws at the founding of the republic did restrict firearms from those deemed to be “dangerous” or “unvirtuous” or “disloyal to the state”. So while the right has been held to be an individual right (rather than a collective state right i.e. organized state militia), it has never been deemed to be absolute right as to all individuals and all kinds of arms.

Judges have been rewriting the second amendment and infringing upon our rights to bear arms for years.

I have worked with lots of children at church for many years, and I worked with the children of 2 different families shortly after, or during, the loss of their mothers to cancer when the kids were 4, 5 and 7. I will never forget one girl’s 1st time back at church. The other adults in the room were just balling as they thought about all the future times when this girl would miss her mother. And the 7 year old gave THEM a hug and said it was gonna be okay!
Erika and her kids will be just fine because the Lord surely gives a special grace to the widows and orphans that He looks after and provides for.
Do not take the cares of the world on your shoulders, because that is Jesus’s job. Rather take time to be sorrowful, but remind yourself that joy will come in the morning. God did not restore Trump to office after a stolen 2020 election to give up on America now. We lost a great soldier in this American Reformation, but we will win in the end by God’s grace.

The greater injustice occurred 2000 years ago in Jerusalem. Jesus went knowing he was going to suffer and be killed. His triumph over death makes our suffering moot, including Charlie’s. Yes, our trust is in Jesus.

Here is the game plan that the forces against Trump will be using for the foreseeable future.
They will attempt to get you to make the perfect the enemy of the good.
Be it the freedom clowns and spending, the immigration hawks with H1B visas, the peace doves with timing, the cultural warriors with total bans of DEI/CRT, the neocons with war fighting, or the swamp dwellers with draining the swamp.
All of them will attempt to get you to believe on whatever issue is the issue of the day that it doesn’t go far enough or do enough. They will try to make you think that some sub issue of that issue is more important and should be handled first, that since the issue hasn’t been handled yet it won’t be, that we can’t do more than one thing, that so and so is a plant to stop the draining of the swamp, or that because it wasn’t 100% Trump lied. On every single issue, one or more groups will attempt this strategy.
You can’t allow them that power over you. If Trump secures the border and deports 2 million, don’t allow them to reduce that good by them saying well he didn’t deport 2.5 million, so he failed or lied.
You can’t allow them to use the perfect to void out the good in the coming months.
They will try. They already have with the CR and the H1b visa debates. It works, that is why they use it. You have to keep it in the front of your head on everything about to occur that half a loaf or hopefully in most cases 7/8ths a loaf is better than no loaf.
Do not allow them to gaslight you into thinking the good is the enemy of the perfect.
In the real world, most things are never perfect, but if we try real hard, we can get plenty of good accomplished in the coming 4 years.
The purpose and goals of President Trump are plainly visible by his actions and consistent: He is for the benefit first of the common PEOPLE of this country, then of the PEOPLE in the rest of the world. It is validating, even to our battered conservative skepticism.
The methods of his leadership are amazing. I still don’t get HOW he does it, or HOW he is able to get so much momentum going, but every day the momentum is growing. Everyone and every organization has their eyes opened every day — just by watching him. Even those who hate him, are biased against him, and want to see him gone — cannot ignore him. He lives rent free in their head, and they come around to seeing the universal principles by which he is operating. He hammers actions based on truth from one direction, then another, and they cannot mount an organized opposition against him.
President Trump is transparent in his words and actions. He is consistent in what he says, what he does, and what he asks/demands of others. His promises are bold and he keeps them like no other president has. He is making massive, nearly overnight changes, not only in our country, but in the world. It is amazing that he is able to accomplish so much when there are so many snakes in the grass. This term, he is weeding them out faster. No U.S. president has ever faced so much organized resistance and treason than President Trump
He has chosen to use his intellect and every skill he has to do what is right. He has tremendous faith that he can make a difference in this world. He has a confidence and courage such that he doesn’t care what others think, yet a humility to know he has to do it with the help of like minded people. Those people are the “common” people, and he ridicules those who think they are not common.
He believes people are basically good. He believes that God is real. He believes that healthy people are happy people, and they need to be able to create wealth freely for their labor, and have the freedom to spend their money on what is good for them.
He believes the United States, with its Constitutional Republic, is the best environment in the world to enable and give opportunity for people to be happy and prosperous.
He believes that we can be a light for the world, but we must demand that the rest of the world respect us and our right to life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of happiness.
He believes the enemy of our country are the stupid, greedy American people who have been selfishly taking advantage of this country; who betrayed the trust and obedience of its people; and who diverted the people’s wealth for their own selfish gain, at the expense of the principles of this country. He’s not going to allow that anymore.
He has cultivated and focused the family of MAGA. Identifying those people whose goodness, industriousness, trust, and obedience have been taken advantage of and abused. He has opened our eyes to this abuse, and the rights of freedom and self determination that have been quietly stolen from us.
He has rekindled the healthy distrust of government and men with too much power held by our founders. He has recultivated the desire to reclaim our freedoms and rights, and is empowering us with a hope and pathway to reclaim our spiritual and economic freedom.

He is convincing those who are very wealthy (most of whom truly earned their money), that the best economic soil in which to build wealth is in a constitutional republic, which supports the ability of the common man to earn wealth in proportion to his efforts. The economic engine of the United States is the human spirit freed to enjoy the fruits of honest labor, and that engine has more natural and raw horsepower than any other governed economy.
The Trump Train seems to be remarkably aligned with universal principles of Truth, which reflect the will and design of our Creator, and are the best standard by which we should live. These same principles were what our country’s founders used to declare independence, and framed into the Constitution of this nation.
Our founders believed that a nation should preserve the right and freedom of an individual to seek, understand, and live by God’s principles. They believed that free individuals working together in humility would make a stronger nation than a government which dictates its will on the people. President Trump professes and seeks to lead and restore this nation back to these same principles.
These principles resonate deeply within all human beings, down to our DNA in every cell, in our spirits, and produce fruit that “miraculously” multiplies. Because we follow universal principles, we see the snowballing acceleration of momentum on day 238 of the 2nd term of this very stable genius in the history of the kingdoms of this world in the year of our Lord 2025.

I have to say I’m in deep blue NY and our flags have been lowered here in the western region. Not sure about the rest of the states, but in my area they are.
For non fed buildings, The flag decisions are made at the county and city level.
Basically flags are being lowered in red counties and cites regardless of blue or red state and vice versa.

I don’t see that happening. In three years Russia has not been able to defeat Ukraine. That is not exactly blitzkrieg. Even now if they defeat Ukraine they will have to deal with occupying a hostile nation, an insurgency and terrorism.

I don’t see how Russia with it’s declining population, shaky economy and already bogged down military can hope to conquer Europe, even the old Soviet States. I see no need to worry about Russian expansion. Ukraine has always been closely tied to Russia, the princes of Kiev ruled over Russia before the rise of Moscow. That history and the overthrow of a pro Russian democratically elected government along with the expansion of NATO are the reasons Putin invaded. Poland is not that threat.
Russia doesn’t intend to conquer Europe and even declined to conquer Ukraine. “Russophobia” paints this country as the secret eternal enemy of “the West.” Europe is still plotting to bring Churchill’s “Operation Unthinkable” to reality.
It is “the West” who covets to transform her somehow into “forty-odd impotent little countries.” Victoria even gave each one a name, and a flag. Ain’t never gonna happen, but they fantasize anyway.

The Poles don’t “have clean hands” regarding Ukraine. Former Polish territory was taken from them by the USSR as their agricultural central planning committees were setting new boundaries. They want that territory back.
Remember that European wars are ALWAYS about “territory.” They right now simply cannot conceive that Russia doesn’t want any. And they sure as hell do want Russia’s. “All of it, please.”
Importantly with regards to the above comment, remember that “USSR ≠ Russia.” Many smaller European countries acted as part of the larger “USSR” to enact long-festering territorial rivalries that have not been forgotten today.
Internal tensions over “territory” make Europe a powder-keg that is always ready to blow up again. Even today’s European “Union” (sic …) is an expression of that.
There is no direct parallel to that dynamic in this country. So far as I know, [Nevada] is not plotting to settle ancient scores with [Oklahoma] …

I would note that doing so is NOT turning your back on potential danger, but instead facing it head on, as it always should be.
Empathy, understanding, and love are far more powerful in changing minds than fists – which do nothing but further stoke hatred and gives observers an excuse to become further entrenched in their irrational viewpoints. The violent reaction IMO was also the very opposite of what Charlie stood for and very inappropriate at a prayer vigil in his honor.
Mere words, no matter how vile, should never invoke physical violence regardless of what the courts have or haven’t said (the very same courts that said it was okay to do everything that occurred in 2020 and 2021 I might add, that have repeatedly shown they are clueless in many regards).

I’ve worked for two large companies that had a clause that if you behave in public or post on social media in a way that could be damaging to the company’s reputation, it’s grounds for being sacked. Period. So don’t get caught drunk swearing at a ballgame. Don’t engage in road rage. Don’t post things on social media you wouldn’t want your clients to see.

It’ll be a while before the autopsy report is made public, if ever. In all likelihood the bullet is / was still in his skull. Its direction of travel was at a negative angle. When it struck him, it hit the top of a hard body armor plate and appears to have deformed and bounced / tumbled upward into his neck and most likely lodged in the area around the cerebellum / occipital lobe. That’s speculation, but it comports with what you see in the video. It strikes his chest, his shirt is pulled violently upward, and an abnormally large entrance wound opens in the front of his neck. Sorry to be graphic, but that’s what it is. They most certainly have the bullet, or what remains of the fragments.
