A peer-reviewed study out of Germany now shows that a cheap, decades-old nasal spray, azelastine, may do what the so-called ‘miracle’ experimental COVID jabs never accomplished: stop infection.
According to new findings published in JAMA Internal Medicine this week, all it may have taken to block infections was a $10 bottle of over-the-counter nasal spray used for seasonal allergies.
Researchers at Saarland University Hospital in Germany ran a phase 2 double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial on 450 healthy adults between March 2023 and July 2024.

Dmitriev only just came to my own attention in the last ten days, because of his decision to go full swan dive into a certain letter of the alphabet, by picking up on a Trump Truth Social post and running with it. He posted a couple of times on this, the most recent as far as I know being a response to Shadow of Ezra – it consisted of a (Insert letter of alphabet here) +, then a Russian flag, then a golden handshake, and then a US flag.
If he wanted to step out of the shadows into a full limelight, that would certainly do it, as it suggests that POTUS is (insert letter of alphabet here)+, and that Russia and the US have already formed a business alliance and made deals. (He has apparently directly suggested such a business alliance for US, China, and Russia in the Arctic.)
There is no way he did that post without clearing the move with Putin first (*Putin has been repeatedly rumored to have some sort of cancer and therefore a succession fight is not out of the possible picture – so is it a move on Dmitriev’s part to gain recognition and move towards overt power?).

SCROTUS needs to devote more time to appeals from the Executive branch. This is a judicial insurrection.
There have been some strong slaps down to these district rogues from SCOTUS lately, most notably from Gorsuch.
But there is only so much SCOTUS can do other than reversals and strongly worded opinions with respect to district judges. SCOTUS can’t remove district judges.
The real power of discipline rests with the House, in impeaching and removing them from the bench.
And we have a weak, feckless, gutless, and nearly useless GOP House, ‘led’ by head weakling and chief do-little, Speaker Mike Johnson.
I blame Congress for this continuing judicial insurrection, more than SCOTUS.
The Constitution in Article 3 established only the Supreme Court. It left everything else to Congress. The entire present hierarchy of inferior Courts was defined by them. They can change every aspect of it. (Including, for that matter, the rules of “impeachment” in these inferior Courts.)

Perhaps when the DOJ does its emergency appeals, should try asking the Supreme Court to hold errant judges in contempt.

So, let’s just do this: have Congress ABOLISH the “DC” District.
Rationale: A single quasi-city doesn’t need its own District. Such a thing could never be fair. The entire raison d’etre of this city is “politics,” and this District can never be anything more than what it demonstrably is: a political cudgel.
All cases arising in the District can be tried in courthouses located there, but presided over by “circuit judges” drawn either from neighboring States or all fifty. The Sixth Amendment requirements can still be satisfied.
Waiting for the uproar though nothing from mainstream media yet.
