She’s an amateur. She couldn’t even demonstrate any gratitude (for his agreeing to be interrogated) with one or two positive questions at the start; she just jumped in with hard negatives and never stopped the attack.
VP Vance showed tremendous maturity and poise in the face of such sophomoric arrogance and simply turned around each attack with a thoughtful and well-reasoned, forthright reply. IMHO he was a positive asset to this Administration in this interrogation, regardless of whatever issues may exist from his relationship with Peter Thiel.
In the first 21 seconds, the low IQ interviewer refers to the Fed as the “Federal Reserves Board”.

At least he is out there vigorously and competently defending President Trump and his agenda! I think many of us still have a wait and see attitude regarding him, due to justifiable concerns in a couple of areas, but compared to Mike Pence’s tepid, at best, defense of DJT in the first term, JD is doing a great job, in my opinion! Pence always looked slightly constipated and both he and his wife acted like the President and First Lady were “beneath” them so JD is a BIG step up!!

He was asked about running for presidency. Very strange response talking about Trump’s health and God forbid should anything happen to Trump during his Presidency. Very weird response!
You are conflating two totally different responses that he gave regarding A) the question about DJT being the oldest person ever sworn into the Presidency, to which JD robustly defended both the physical and mental capabilities/energy of the president, and then B) a completely different question about whether or not he thought about running for president in 2028, to which he responded that he’s focused on the job at hand and he will make that decision at a later date!
You are free to dislike or distrust JD Vance but please don’t ascribe intent or motives by twisting his words!

I see in the e-mail something from Epoch Times – I haven’t subscribed to their site but I get the e-mails from them giving me the tid-bits, the headlines – and I saw this just now which irks me but then maybe Vance DID NOT give an “update on Trump’s Health” – but then why is Epoch Times telling me this and are they just full of garbage?

In the Epoch Times interview, the VP was simply asked how President’s health was, given all the long days and constant work he’s been putting in, and VP Vance simply said that President Trump is in excellent health, and that, of course, if something were to ever happen Vance would be ready to step in – and from that the headlines turn into ‘Vance Gives Update on Trump’s Health’ as if that were the gist of the story –
so yeah, click bait.

Yep, I get emails daily and a paper copy of the Epoch Times every week. I don’t know why I received it, but I got a whole magazine from them re the China Virus long before any of the sh#t hit the fan.
I love the “Home” section and others as well. Have learned to weed the wheat from the chaff. Compared to my AP article heavy local newspaper (where EVERYTHNG TRUMP EVER SAID OR DID is UNSUBSTANTIATED) the Epoch Times is a GREAT Counterbalance.

Obama would only do interviews if the questions /topics were known ahead of time. He was “silver tongued” when his lines had been written for him ahead of time but he couldn’t string together a coherent thought on his own to save his life!

I liked that she didnt interrupt him and let him answer the question that she asked. He speaks well and didnt dodge questions had an answer for everything
She did no follow-up questions, and, yes, they were all from Dem side of the equation. However, as a former journalist, you do ask the “tough” questions. All-in-all, I believe it was a good interview and that JD did a fine job.
