While speaking to Lara Trump about the ongoing Russiagate review efforts, Devin Nunes notes, “The only thing that President Trump and this administration can do, is make sure that whoever can be held accountable, are held accountable, and that this doesn’t happen again; that these people are taught a lesson, so that this doesn’t happen again.” But there’s something even more revealing within the interview.
Context: Devin Nunes is the chair of the President’s Intelligence Advisory Board, an alternative mechanism to review and analyze global and domestic intelligence information – with overlay against truth and reality that underpins the issue(s).
Action: Accepting the intent of the President’s Intelligence Advisory Board, now insert the recent DNI Tulsi Gabbard’s directive to stop information sharing with allied countries as it specifically relates to President Trump’s efforts to create a peace deal between Ukraine and Russia.
Back to the interview: Here’s the statement that really deserves to be emphasized @05:25: “Imagine where we sit today, with all the things going on around the world, and the President has to have the DOJ, the FBI, the CIA, his own intelligence board, all making sure the intelligence is not weaponized. I mean it’s rather incredible, this is something that is unprecedented in the United States of America.”
Think about that ¹remarkable context. Essentially, what Nunes is saying is that Pam Bondi, Todd Blanche, Kash Patel, Dan Bongino, John Ratcliffe, Tulsi Gabbard and Devin Nunes (et al) cannot trust the operational embeds under the agency heads within the United States Intelligence Community. Think about that, as it is said out loud.

The people who operate within that fourth branch of government are not constrained by the power or authority of the executive.

Rogue agencies, leaking information, unassailable: what to do?
It is now established by the courts that the President can fire any federal employee. That is the only tool available to bring rogue agencies under control. So, it must be used. Federal employees who get out of their lane can and should be fired. It remains to define the lanes.
I have seen the enabling legislation for the CIA. It is a page and a half, single spaced, saying the agency can do what it wants, where it wants, at any time, and with any funds available to it. A freewheeling agency is the intended design. But what lanes must the employees stay in?
How about, for example, making lying by federal employees constitute gross misconduct? How about getting control of the budget by making it gross misconduct to spend any money not appropriated by Congress? Found money or money raised by rackets would have to be returned to the treasury.
Just those two measures would make a big dent in federal agency corruption. What about no black budgets, and no secret employees? Now we are talking forcing Congress to do its job, no more budgets on auto pilot.
The CIA is self-supported by drug and gun running. FFS is has it’s own bank.
They still operate under the color of Government employment. Do repeated, serious staff staff reductions and they won’t have that reach and scope for misbehavior. I think it is clear at this point that the CIA has never in its history been connected to the traditional framework of executive control. Where did it come from and why? The strategic political intelligence function used to be performed by the Military Intelligence Division of the US Army. The MID was a hotbed of conservative Christian resistance (to a lesser degree much of the US Army officer corps as well) against the then rising (fundamentally anti-European anti-nationalist) internationalist threat, both communist and corporatist. The MID was disbanded in early 1942, and as best I can tell its immediate successor was tasked against Germany and Japan (two national groupings), and nothing else.
There was no longer anyone looking at the big picture, at the transnational actors. Neither the Soviet Union nor China (after 1949) were internationalist communist threats during that era. The former had already retrenched into ‘socialism in one country’ and the latter were ALWAYS highly nationalist communists.
I hypothesize that the CIA was formed precisely to fill the need for assessment of the big picture, but only in such a way that analysis was not and would never be done on the transnational networks that were then using the financial system to subvert democratic process in (mostly) America, Britain, and France. How could this have been done? The senior management of our government has been run by anti-nationalist traitors for a very long time.

If he was more credible on the facts he projects that never pan out into anything of major proportions, I might believe this. He just says too many things are going to happen that never do happen. He needs to just report what IS happening not what he thinks might happen and he never gives solid proof either for any of his pronouncements and predictions. Seems that way to me anyway. He just isn’t reliably accurate and he just promises the old tik tok results that never happen like I said. Had he been right on even half his predictions, we would be probably sailing America in the right directions much more easily and Pres. Trump would have been proven to have won the 2020 elections.

I think that there are a lot more people like that that are about to come out of the woodwork and tell us things that we just needed to know and what we haven’t been told the last decade and that’s why what you have done at Epoch and NTD and all these places.
We have created a place for them to come because they have been shunned in the places that were used to go.

My guess is that the competing payments for information are so varied and large that those folk with some info are compromised easily. Of course you also have some who are politically motivated. Between those two incentives; information moves quickly.

In awe that we have a man, President Trump, willing to step into this mess and do what he can to make these corrections happen. That is real service and a real love of nation, even if I do disagree with his Intel moves, things will work out just fine. Sometimes an over-correction is needed for the balance to begin to find its own footing.
The fact that even PT is having difficulty ending the Ukraine War says everything and reinforces that we have a complete rogue 4th branch of government running everything.
I hope PT sees this more clearly now after what I believe will be 2 failed attempts at Ukraine peace by the so called most powerful man in the world. The truth is PT’s real enemy is within.
Unless he and his key agency heads go full bore and declare war on this 4th branch of government, with massive investigations and indictments, there is not a chance in heck that his presidency ends the DS. What we will get is simple exposure and implied violations.

Has anyone even considered what the ‘rogue element’ IC running the show will do in return for being uprooted? They do have a lot of tools at their disposal and a great lack of conscience in taking care of business. This might be why navigating slowly around them is being done so carefully. We don’t know what we don’t know about the enemy within. Dangerous doesn’t cover what they might be able to or are doing right now as we speak.

The first of many steps, in my opinion, would be to fire 40% of the staff, just as Gabbard has done.
The second step would be to fire another 40% of whatever remained.
All in the meanwhile hiring 10% of new recruits that are vetted in all ways including ideological.
The third step would be a repeat of the first and second step. That would be the final one of this term.
As an example the ODNI had 1800 employees. After 3 such steps there would be about 520 left which would include about 225 of the newly vetted recruits and the rest what we’d call the white hats and those who exposed the bad and the ugly of that organization.

Nunes essentially points out that it is/was the political types at the top of the IC food chain who cause/d the problems, manipulating intel and working with politicians and bureaucrats, sometimes with their counterparts in other countries, to achieve some nefarious end. These people need to be severely punished.
Out in the field, and around the globe, what you have is garden variety corruptions and self-interested actions that do not necessarily have a part in any grand scheme.
So, e.g., Obama’s intel people sent the correct information — no election interference. But then they gathered together fake “intel” (fictitious reporting laundered through foreign intel sources) and cherry-picked the rest to manipulate.
The military and CIA intel grunts around the world are gathering isolated bits of intel in their areas and feeding it up the food chain to be put together and analyzed. (Not infrequently, some of them complain that the same stuff they sent “up” later comes down to them — tada! — in useless reports from on high.)
With regard to the CIA, there is an alternate problem of the undercover people who are enmeshed in communities and lives and fake personas and businesses, disconnected in large part from what’s going on in the states and often not caring. They have contacts with the various embassies and pursue “projects”. Eliminating USAID helps get rid of some of this, although some is “self-funded”. State Department overseas diplomats are as bad if not worse.
Example: an operative living and working at a CIA station in a Shitholistan with now long-time friendships in the nearest U.S. embassy as well as in the local area applies for and/or is given USAID money (or the has control of funds from a fake front business) to do some bullshit do-gooder “project” — and the money for the useless “project” goes into the private pockets of his and his buddies’ connex. This is garden variety corruption.
Anyway, the point here is that the dangerous parts tend to be sitting at the top — the top diplomats in various embassies, in D.C. bureaucracies, in Congress, in the Pentagon, and in Langley. The rest, to the extent they are not under complete control, are mostly grunts, self-interested, and not necessarily in concert with each other. If they get orders to do this or that, it comes from the top.
Thus, I think it’s important to identify and punish the INDIVIDUALS who are the corrupt politicos at the top. To talk about “the IC” is anthropomorphism. This is too vague, ultimately useless, because “the IC” is not a person.
A problem or set of problems have to be clearly identified first in otder to fix them. We can do this. Yanking back embassy personnel, cutting USAID, etc. is part of that fix. Ditto who and when and how we share intel, e.g. Gabbard re Five Eyes. And other “reforms”.
But prosecuting the politicos at the top is crucial and the most important. We must actively keep demanding this kind of accountability and not giving up.

As long as there is sin in the world we are going to have to contend with sinners. Even making murder a death penalty crime does not stop murderers from murdering.
Anything that needs to be printed, downloaded, uploaded, and viewed should have to remain in the building until the correct person puts a certain watermark on it. If forensic science and police evidence has to have a Chain of Custody then so should documents.
Team Trump can devise barriers and such but, in the end, sinners are going to sin. If we cannot stop them from sinning then they must be caught and punished bigly.

Watched the interview a couple of times this morning. I keyed on “a dozen or two” as being behind most of this. Since the impulse response of fire them, tear it all down isn’t something that is realistic I wonder if the first step would be to cage those dozen or two folks as the first step. Not believing that removal of the head of this snake will cause the rest to die but it would be a pretty solid start. And it is realistic.

So, the only answer is to REPLACE, DEFUND, and DESTROY as much of the federal government as humanly possible to STOP the embezzling, money laundering, bribery, fraud and corruption. Only limited government under strong leadership will allow America to survive.

I’m so old that I remember discussions about putting aside politics and doing one’s duty when Billy Jeff Clinton was elected. Despite intensely disagreeing with his politics, that’s what I did. Now, it seems politics have become the duty of the IC.
“Loyal opposition” doesn’t exist anymore thanks to the relentless politicization of everything. It’s a shame, because there are some really smart, talented, and capable people in the IC who have decided that their duty is to their beliefs first and country a distant second.

I liken the situation we’re in to a wife (the citizen) who married her guy (the American gov’t) thinking he’d
never cheat on her. They are well into many years of marriage, two or three kids, when she has a hard time understanding why certain things keep happening–he’s late from work, often; he’s not amorous any more, he seems distant at times.
Yes, her mind does indeed go to “What if he’s cheating on me,” yet it’s also true, she argues with herself, that he has always worked very hard to provide a good living for his family, and he’s always been one to throw himself into all things with all he has. He still makes sure he attends all his kids’ functions, even though it means he must work overtime at work to make up for lost hours.
For every argument she makes that is could be seeing another woman, she has what she feels is a stronger one suggesting he’d never do that to her or the kids.
Yes, these are the American citizens who cannot fathom that they live in a country that bears no resemblance to the DEMOCARCY they studied in high school. When they hear neighbors suggest that something about American behind the scenes is dark and disturbing, she laughs at them: “Conspiracy theorists! Don’t they know how crazy they sound?”
What percentage of Americans are not yet emotionally capable of even wondering if the DARK and Unimaginable is occuring?
What percentage of the population is like our questioning but naive and hopeful wife and mother who still has not approached her husband with honest questions demanding honest answers.
What percentage are aware something is so wrong they wish the gov’t to undergo public scrutiny? This group is beyond the wondering wife. They want questions answered and they want all Americans to hear the questions.
There are many human reactions to facing up to cheating by a spouse. I don’t need to list them. It’s all dependent on the personality traits of the person who suspects.
Such is the case with American citizens when they are faced with the treachery, the betrayal by many “in our government.”
We haven’t even reached the point where most Americans think about treason and betrayal on a large scale. They think in terms of individual and parties, but not in terms of systems failures.

Waiting for a certain percentage of people to call for TRUTH?
