I don’t think the Ukraine war will end until Russia’s requirements are met. They stated them at the beginning of the fighting and have not wavered. What they want has been summarized many times on these pages — chiefly a demilitarized, non-NATO Ukraine. It seems reasonable to me and, apparently, to many (perhaps most) Treepers.
I appreciate the hard position PDJT is in and I’m grateful for his efforts.

The video that was allowed in the court hearing had the audio wiped to give the appearance he attacked an officer when the reality was the crush of the crowd pushed the officer down and he fell on top of the officer. The officer (with audio) thanked him for helping him up. He spent four years in prison because of this.

And that’s exactly what concerned Tina Peters — because if there had been election tampering or code designed to manipulate results, this process would have erased it. Rather than sit by, Tina Peters acted, doing what any responsible election official should: she sought to preserve the evidence.
Tina Peters is currently facing a nine-year prison sentence. Representing her is Peter Ticktin, a seasoned attorney and longtime friend of President Donald Trump, who has recently parachuted into her case to advocate for her immediate release on bond while her state-level appeal is pending. In a bold and unprecedented legal maneuver, Ticktin has filed a federal habeas corpus petition in the U.S. District Court of Colorado, arguing that Peters’ ongoing incarceration violates her First Amendment rights.

A few days ago there was a SC ruling, in which Amy Coney Barrett joined, saying that a baby born to a Nigerian diplomat 70 years ago, who thought he was an American citizen all his life, was in fact not.
This particular individual will probably eventually receive American citizenship, but his case is not notable to me because he was the son of a diplomat; it was notable for the proposition that, IF the Trump administration is successful at the SC on the very issue of “birthright citizenship” as casually offered during the last 40 years to the babies born on American soil to those present illegally, then not only would that successful decision go forward – at least from January 20, 2025, when the EO was issued which is being appealed, but might also go back. Back all the way to the early 1980s when state after state began to offer American citizenship unconstitutionally to these babies.
When I first read of this trend I knew it would mean the end of the American Constitutional Republic as we knew it.
Additionally I am glad to see that they are reviewing all of these Visa holders because I know that many were given freely to persons broadly interpreted as “refugees.” During the Kenyan’s term the State department even diminished the Oath given to naturalized citizens – another situation which needs reviewed.
It was not a SCOTUS ruling so Barrett could not have joined in the ruling.
Please stop the misinformation as it gives CTH a bad name.

Also, this was NOT a particularly notable case, and has no precedent or other value for the birthright issue.
Case was newsworthy because of the “human interest” angle that the elderly man claimed to have lived in U.S. since birth and knew no where else (his diplomat parents lived his entire childhood here? no relatives elsewhere? diplomats but didn’t know the law? strange.)

It actually happens a lot if the driver is not impaired with drugs or alcohol. Drivers are then arrested later if the prosecutor deems the driver broke the law in the accident. See this a lot in Missouri where charges are not filed for a year or so. That being said, if the cops knew he was illegal at the time, he should have been jailed for that anyway.

CEASE FIRE or PEACE TERMS … either way the fighting stops … and there may even be enough of the Ukraine to be called a viable national entity, if either happens soon enough.
But how do they do that when Russia refuses to meet. They tell Trump they agree, then they pull back. They aren’t negotiating in good faith and frankly I don’t think Ukraine is either
