Even though President Trump is occupied with major events, working his mojo on the ills of the world and we haven’t heard him warn us as often as he may have in the past about the dangers of fake news from the lying media, we mustn’t for one minute let our guard down or fail to discern.
The following is a perfect example of the need to read with discernment, and why we are cautioned here by Sundance about certain journos who profess to be our friends, but seem to have deeper ties elsewhere.
Apologies for the length of this post, but **bear with me. I think it’s worth it.
I’ll post a link at the end for those who wish to read the entire post. I’ve put excerpts of the Coffee&Covid report in Italics, and put my comments below them in bold print.
“Yesterday, ABC ran a terrific story headlined, “Head of DOJ anti-weaponization group calls on NY AG Letitia James to resign.” Immediately framing the story in Trump’s opponents’ favor, the sub-headline furiously declared, “James’ attorney says the move by Ed Martin violates DOJ norms and ethics rules.”

But hilariously, and unreported by ABC, Martin’s letter was a response to a defiant letter that James’ lawyer sent Martin, but then leaked to the media. Martin only answered his letter. An even bigger chuckle arose from the letter’s second page, when Martin stressed, “I specifically ask that you redouble your efforts to not leak this confidential letter.”
In other words, James and her lawyer first broke protocol by leaking their own confidential letter. They probably leaked this one, too. But more interesting, and ignored by ABC, was Martin’s comment that, “On page 4, you make admissions about your client Letitia James’ conduct that are stunning to me.”
In that earlier letter (then addressed to Pam Bondi), James’s lawyer acknowledged that one document —a power of attorney form for a Virginia property— did “mistakenly” state that James intended to use it as her primary residence. “

First, Martin’s call for James’ resignation seems actually to be a direct response to the admission that her own lawyer made, rather than, as ABC framed it, some rogue prosecutor trying to score political points for no reason.
But much more deliciously ironic, James built her entire New York fraud case against Trump on minor paperwork language— a few stray words on loan statements, valuations, and check stubs that she insisted proved a sweeping, decade-long scheme, even though nobody lost a dime.
But her own lawyer just admitted that James herself falsely identified her property as her primary residence — a little paperwork fudge that also just so happened to score her… better interest rates. I mean, please. You couldn’t script it any better.
By her own standards, that’s not a clerical error. It’s decades of fraud.”

I think they keep eyes on what Sundance says and that they have a pretty good idea what’s posted in these comments, especially when the names of John Solomon and Just the News are involved.

I would have taken it much further, regardless of how people would take it.
Humanity as a whole has a very long history of slavery. If you are going to “define” anyone or thing based on slavery and do so in a large group manner, then one would need to define ALL of humanity the same way.
No group, race, nationality, or ethnicity is innocent. In the case of dark skinned human beings, they enslaved each other for thousands of years and sold each other to slave traders – some of which eventually landed on America’s shores.
Further, millions of fair skinned human beings were enslaved throughout history, including in the same time frame as America’s founding and by Africans (research Barbary pirates for one example).
Further in some forms it continues TO THIS DAY in many parts of the world – including human trafficking of children and women.
On the other side of the coin, America was near the forefront on the abolition of slavery in the world and the eradication of it as a main stream practice in society all took place during a relatively short historical period across the globe – at least in civilized areas of the globe. In the Middle East it is still fairly prevalent.
Those who continue to try to use slavery as a crutch, cudgel, or club need to check themselves and their own groups long term history and face reality, as well as stop making asinine excuses for their own choices and actions. They need to grow the hell up and learn to treat others as they wish to be treated and learn to take responsibility for themselves in all manners.

Simple fact. Slavery existed for close to 5,000 years in the world before it reached the United States or dare I say, our shores eventually. Where in the hell were the pyramids built? That is right, in Africa, in Egypt built around 2600 BC. And who built those pyramids? So who was involved in slavery from the get go? Why do we always dismiss what Africans did to Africans when we talk the slave trade? European explorers largely would not get there until the 15th century. Do we honestly believe there was no slavery in African until then. Maybe, we should look at the Muslim experience in African slavery huh?
The Portuguese and Spanish controlled the seas lanes for most of 15, 16, 17 and 18th centuries. No Americans shipped Africans to what became the United States of America. That didn’t happen in 1619 with the ridiculous 1619 Project falsified nonsense.
We ended slavery faster than anyone in the world. Look up William Wilberforce and Great Britain to see the first. With the 13th amendment in 1865 we would end slavery faster than any other civilization on earth. The Constitution was ratified in 1788. You do the math. The perversion of slavery after that you can thank the democratic party. The first 8 blacks, I believe, to serve were Republicans in the House.

Texas hopes to add five seats with its proposed maps, giving the Republicans 30 of the state’s 38 congressional districts. Ohio is set to redraw its maps this fall, and Republicans will likely have their eyes on two competitive seats held by Democrats there. Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) is “very seriously” considering a redraw that could threaten Democratic seats in South Florida, Orlando, and Tampa. Indiana could follow, but Republican Gov. Mike Braun has yet to decide whether to hold a special election to do so.
Even if Newsom’s maps go into effect, the independent commission he’s trying to sidestep with a special election will return in 2031, the same year the whole nation will reapportion House districts. California is expected to lose four seats due to its dwindling population. Illinois, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Wisconsin will probably forfeit a seat, and New York might shed two. Guess where all those seats – and Electoral College votes – will go? The states people moved to, such as Texas, Florida, Arizona, and North Carolina, which will be a boon for the GOP.

The case was file by Biden’s DOJ on 12/06/21. In other words it was initiaed by Joe Biden and the Democrats. They are getting exactly what they wanted.

They are the case history of Biden’s DOJ suing. If you read them all the judges ordered the redistricting. The Democrats keep saying Trump ordered Texas to redistrict which is false. Newsom keeps saying he is going to redistrict because Trump ordered redistricting which is also false.
The case of United Latin American Citizens was also brought, and the two cases were combined. What the Democrats are upset about is they assumed Hispanics and Latinos would vote Democrats, but the demographics have changed and the Hispanics and Latinos in Texas are now primarily Republican voters.
