A tunnel that long under the seas would be very difficult for humans to endure for psychological reasons.
The first subway cars were like wooden railroad cargo cars. People would not ride them because they could not see outside the car and felt claustrophobic.
Today when you ride the subway your car has many windows….yet all you see is darkness in the tube. This has proven to offset claustrophobia.
Now imagine trying to ride a train when you know you are under a sea. Who would actually ride one? At best, cargo only….and exceptionally paid train employees.

Today I watched the dignified signing of a peace accord in the White House between Azerbaijan and Armenia…the following are some of my thoughts as I watched this historic ceremony.
None of us will forget the coup staged against us and our America in 2020. And who brought devastation to citizens whom they despise.
Watching this astounding ceremony today, I was overwhelmed. Accords signed by the heads of two countries at each other’s throats for thirty five years. Another triumph for peace for a man saved by the hand of God Who will surely claim as His child.
For those who are dissatisfied with the pace of all we are currently watching regarding the despicable, unforgivable corruption which attempted to destroy President Trump, and failed, a gentle reminder…
I said elsewhere that today is the day we all prayed for so fervently and for so long. We should remember this. We were heard, and we were answered.
But it is the Lord Himself in Whose hand the timepiece rests. It is He Who ordains everything in this world.
I’d hope in the quiet, we could all pause to review where this world was a short while ago, to see the mercies which God has bestowed not only on our country but for others, too….as today. According to His well timed Grace. Remembering that He is never early, nor is He ever late.
Through His servant Donald Trump, He has given to us and others many blessings we thought would never come. In counting them, I’d pray that our faith and, most important, patience, both which falter at times, is reafirmed and strengthened. That He is the Holy Waymaker, that from evil He works good.
Thank you, precious Lord of all Your lovingkindness, for our President whom You delivered for these moments when enemies are reconciled and, with great hope, for a lasting peace next week.

Oh how lovely that would be! I’ve said many times that every day President Trump has shown up for work as POTUS it’s been almost as if he’s carried a “honey do” list in his pocket put there by her.

Amazing that August 15th is the Feast of The Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary – the primary feast day.
Alaska
St Therese of Lisieux is the patron saint of Alaska, a title bestowed upon her in 1925 following her canonization. She is also the patron saint of missionaries and the Archdiocese of Anchorage-Juneau.
Patron Saint of North America – a Russian Orthodox monk and missionary
The patron saint of North America is Herman of Alaska, a Russian Orthodox monk and missionary who lived from approximately 1756 to 1837. While Herman of Alaska is widely recognized as the patron saint of North America within the Orthodox tradition, other saints are also venerated as patrons of the Americas in different Christian traditions.
Our Lady of Guadalupe is recognized as the patroness of both North and South America.
Saint Kateri Tekakwitha, the first Native American saint, is considered the Protectress of Canada and a patron for North America.

For those who are near or plan trips to pray on August 15th; there are multiple shrines dedicated to the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the United States.
Basilica of the National Shrine of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary (Baltimore, MD) This is the first Catholic cathedral built in the United States after the nation’s founding and is considered a national shrine.
It is located at 409 Cathedral St., Baltimore, Maryland. The basilica, designed by Benjamin Henry Latrobe, was consecrated on May 31, 1821, and is a co-cathedral, minor basilica, and national shrine. It is also a significant historical landmark, listed on the National Register of Historic Places and designated a National Historic Landmark.
National Shrine of Our Lady of Champion (Champion, WI) This shrine is the first and only approved Marian apparition site in the United States, where the Blessed Mother is said to have appeared to Adele Brise in 1859.
The current shrine building was dedicated in 1942 and features a Tudor Gothic style. The shrine hosts a major annual event on August 15, the Solemnity of the Assumption, which includes a Mass and a Eucharistic Rosary Procession.
Apart from praying to the Holy Immaculate Heart of Mary on this Feast day of The Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary; please pray also for the intercession of these saints wherever you may be (at home, at your church or while on travel) for this meeting between President Donald J Trump and President Vladimir Putin.
The Shrine of St Therese of Lisieux, the patron saint of Alaska is on my bucket list. If any has plans or is able to make a trip there on August 15th, it would be a memorable visit to pray for such an event

With the degree that CIA/Banksters want to prevent this meeting, Alaska is a great choice. It will be very difficult for bad actors to intercept Putin or Trumps flight paths. Unless it’s a decoy, I don’t like revealing the location so far in advance though.
