The reports said the opposite. The report said Russia was suppressing bad info about HRC, because they wanted her to win. She would be easier to work with if she had won than Trump.

In Trump’s first term, he wanted to add “citizenship” as a question on the Census. He was taken to court and he lost. According to the announcement by Trump, he will use OTHER MEANS to determine the citizenship of the people and states that they will NOT be counted if they are not US citizens.
I think Trump means to use existing data to determine the details of people but I think ICE should be used to conduct the census.

Capturing US population data for BOTH citizens and non-citizens is a valid census function. Always has been.
The true legal argument in tne above case should have been the use of census data to determine Congressional Districts. To wit: should both citizen and non-citizen census data ‘combined’ be used… or just citizen population data be used.
That is the true issue. A third grader could make a compelling argument that gathering citizen and non-citizen population numbers is germane to proper operation of government.
Gathering the population data [citizen and non-citizen] is WHOLLY different legal issue than ‘how the population data’ and ‘which population data’ is used by government. Trump “lost” because the corrupt judges imputed “unconstitutional motivation” for asking about citizenship — when tne true issue is whether non citizen residents — legal OR illegal — is what needs to be adjudicated.

IMHO, it is going to turn into a First Amendment and also perhaps a Due Process case on whether a state actor (the Bar Association) can condition the grant of a license to do business on the recipient’s staying within politically correct lines, as well as whether the Bar can punish an attorney for zealous advocacy on behalf of a client via his provision of a complete range of legal options to that client.
It will probably take years to litigate, but the DC Bar is currently crystallizing the harm, thus making it into a clear case or controversy that allows Mr. Clark to file for deprivation of civil rights under law.
If there is reciprocal discipline, that might offer Mr. Clark the opportunity to file his suit in a venue other than DC.

The Trump administration will increase the federal law enforcement presence in Washington, DC, starting Thursday night, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said. It comes just days after a well-known former Department of Government Efficiency staffer was assaulted in DC.
