That seems like a weird thing to do; shouldn’t any release, for basic transparency issues, be determined by the lawyer at the DOJ who did the interview and the lawyer for the person interviewed, Maxwell’s attorney?
To even think of having a party of political appointees to decide what to release is 1,000% fodder for everyone, left, right, center. We don’t know the terms or conditions under which the interview was conducted.
Attorneys on both sides have to agree on what happens with the interview evidence.
A day or two ago, there was an article on Al Gore’s internet, that mentioned she did not want the contents/transcripts of the interview made public or ‘released’.

It looks to me that the NPA was written so overly broad, that anyone in America could now be covered under it if they wanted to be.
It’s hard to believe that it was agreeable to the opposition as it was written.
If the Supreme Court is to interpret this as it’s written, they’d have to rule in Ghislane’s favor because according to the language on paper, she’d be covered.
The DOJs case looks weak to me because they are simply imagining that the NPA says things that it does not in fact say.

My Dad who was a WW2 vet who served under MacArthur in the Philippines set me straight on this topic. He said people need to understand that we firebombed Tokyo and other cities killing the same numbers of people and no one said a word since it was in many raids with many planes, but to the guys fighting it was the the hard wake up that was needed to make everyone aware of the futility of continuing. None of those guys wanted to be there and wanted an end to the war. They saw it as a means to save millions of lives and to second guess them is wrong.

For the state of the Pacific War i recommend a book Island Infernos by McManus detailing each battle of the American forces retaking the Pacific islands from the Japanese. An excellent read.
It details the ferocity of the Japanese forces against the Americans…fight to the death and the atrocities the Japanese forces committed against civilians and the American forces.
Plans were being made to invade Japan and the death count of American forces was projected into the tens of thousands.
The development of the bomb brought Japan to it’s knees and saved countless American lives.

To address that unusual and extraordinary threat to the national security and foreign policy of the United States, Executive Order 14066 prohibited, among other things, the importation into the United States of certain products of Russian Federation origin, including crude oil; petroleum; and petroleum fuels, oils, and products of their distillation.
I have received additional information from various senior officials on, among other things, the actions of the Government of the Russian Federation with respect to the situation in Ukraine.
After considering this additional information, among other things, I find that the national emergency described in Executive Order 14066 continues and that the actions and policies of the Government of the Russian Federation continue to pose an unusual and extraordinary threat to the national security and foreign policy of the United States.
To deal with the national emergency described in Executive Order 14066, I determine that it is necessary and appropriate to impose an additional ad valorem duty on imports of articles of India, which is directly or indirectly importing Russian Federation oil. In my judgment, imposing tariffs, as described below, in addition to maintaining the other measures taken to address the national emergency described in Executive Order 14066, will more effectively deal with the national emergency described in Executive Order 14066.

The UN’s 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development is pitched as a “shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and into the future.” At the heart of this agenda are the 17 Sustainable Development Goals, or SDGs.
Many of these goals sound nice in theory and paint a picture of an emergent global utopia – such as no poverty, no world hunger and reduced inequality. Yet, as is true with so much, the reality behind most – if not all – of the SDGs are policies cloaked in the language of utopia that – in practice – will only benefit the economic elite and entrench their power.

Climate change is seen, not just as an environmental problem, but as a “serious financial, economic and social problem.” Therefore “fiscal space” must be engineered to finance the “policy coordination and policy coherence” needed to avert the prophesied disaster.

We are faced with a global policy initiative, affecting every corner of our lives, based upon the logical fallacy of circular reasoning. The effective destruction of society is necessary in order to protect us from something that we are told is to be much worse.
Obedience is a virtue because, unless we adhere to the policy demands imposed upon us, and accept the costs, the climate disaster might come to pass.

Expressed differently, if countries cannot pay the debt they incur through IMF loans and World Bank (and associated Multilateral Development Bank) financing, they will be offered options to “repay” their debt through implementing SDG-related policies. However, as future installments of this series will show, many of these options supposedly tailored to SDG implementation actually follow the “debt for land swap” model (now re-tooled as “debt for conservation swaps” or “debt for climate swaps”) that precede the SDGs and Agenda 2030 by a number of years. This model essentially enables land grabs and land/natural resource theft on a scale never before seen in human history.
Since their creation in the aftermath of World War II, both the World Bank and IMF have historically used debt to force countries, mostly in the developing world, to adopt policies that favour the global power structure. This was made explicit in a leaked US Army document written in 2008 [link provided in the column – W], which states that these institutions are used as unconventional, financial “weapons in times of conflict up to and including large-scale general war” and as “weapons” in terms of influencing “the policies and cooperation of state governments.” The document notes that these institutions in particular have a “long history of conducting economic warfare valuable to any ARSOF [Army Special Operations Forces] UW [Unconventional Warfare] campaign.”
Notably, the World Bank and the IMF are listed as both Financial Instruments and Diplomatic Instruments of US National Power as well as integral parts of what the manual calls the “current global governance system.”

Weinstein notes that Epstein funded a number of important scientists, and that he had an office at Harvard.
Indeed, Harvard was an avid matchmaker for Epstein among the scientific and mathematics community. Harvard accepted about $9 million from Jeffery Epstein, and gave him an office in the institute that he helped to fund. Epstein visited Harvard more than 40 times.
Key Harvard academics were brought to him by connectors in the university, and encouraged to socialize with him. “Some [Harvard] professors beyond [mathematics professor Martin Nowak] appear to have enjoyed close ties with Epstein, the [Harvard] review found. The report says “a number” of faculty members visited Epstein at his homes in New York, Florida, New Mexico and the Virgin Islands. [Italics mine]. Some said they visited him in jail or took trips on his planes. The visits were done in a personal capacity, the report said, and do not appear to violate Harvard rules.”
So: systematically, consistently, major intellectuals, especially in the fields of computation, genetics, evolutionary biology, and consciousness, were being herded by gatekeepers into proximity to Epstein, who had been planted physically in their midst; and these academics were urged to accept his funding money and to meet with him and by implication, to befriend him or to accept his friendship, and even his invitations.
Weinstein’s larger claim — that the Maxwell/Epstein nexus or “construct” served not just to fund but to direct and manage and gate-keep and put a frame around and essentially set the direction of science — is a claim that makes sense, from what I know.

This is an excellent article. It brings up, amongst many topics, how innocent people are ensnared in Epstein’s reputation. That is, merely by proximity to Epstein because they did not know and they did nothing wrong, how many innocents were caught and manipulated? That crossed my mind when that girl was hired away from Trump to Epstein and she was eventually abused. I forget her name. She recently committed suicide when she said that she would never do it. That sounded like a trap to ensnare Trump. And, Richard Verner stated himself that there are hardly any empirical testing of economic theories. That sounds like a deliberate action to cripple certain aspects of economic thought and capturing economic theorists into Epstein’s network is a way to hide certain info in the field of economics. In that way, we as a people follow bad theory deliberately introduced to destroy our economy. For example, we need more banks of different sizes and not less, not centralized.

The last time interest rates were this high was in December 2022, when inflation was 6.5%. Inflation today is 1.8% annualized since he took office. How on earth does it make sense to have the same level of interest rate restrictiveness when inflation is 1.8% as we did when inflation was 6.5%?
