Here is the game plan that the forces against Trump will be using for the foreseeable future.
They will attempt to get you to make the perfect the enemy of the good.
Be it the freedom clowns and spending, the immigration hawks with H1B visas, the peace doves with timing, the cultural warriors with total bans of DEI/CRT, the neocons with war fighting, or the swamp dwellers with draining the swamp.
All of them will attempt to get you to believe on whatever issue is the issue of the day that it doesn’t go far enough or do enough. They will try to make you think that some sub issue of that issue is more important and should be handled first, that since the issue hasn’t been handled yet it won’t be, that we can’t do more than one thing, that so and so is a plant to stop the draining of the swamp, or that because it wasn’t 100% Trump lied. On every single issue, one or more groups will attempt this strategy.
You can’t allow them that power over you. If Trump secures the border and deports 2 million, don’t allow them to reduce that good by them saying well he didn’t deport 2.5 million, so he failed or lied.
You can’t allow them to use the perfect to void out the good in the coming months.
They will try. They already have with the CR and the H1b visa debates. It works, that is why they use it. You have to keep it in the front of your head on everything about to occur that half a loaf or hopefully in most cases 7/8ths a loaf is better than no loaf.
Do not allow them to gaslight you into thinking the good is the enemy of the perfect.
In the real world, most things are never perfect, but if we try real hard, we can get plenty of good accomplished in the coming 4 years.

President Trump is transparent in his words and actions. He is consistent in what he says, what he does, and what he asks/demands of others. It is amazing that he is able to accomplish so much when there are so many snakes in the grass. This term, he is weeding them out faster. No U.S. president has ever faced so much organized resistance and treason than President Trump
The purpose and goals of President Trump are plainly visible by his actions and consistent: He is for the benefit first of the common PEOPLE of this country, then of the PEOPLE in the rest of the world. It is validating, even to our battered conservative skepticism.
The methods of his leadership are amazing. I still don’t get HOW he does it, or HOW he is able to get so much momentum going, but every day the momentum is growing. Everyone and every organization has their eyes opened every day — just by watching him. Even those who hate him, are biased against him, and want to see him gone — cannot ignore him. He lives rent free in their head, and they come around to seeing the universal principles by which he is operating. He hammers actions based on truth from one direction, then another, and they cannot mount an organized opposition against him.
He has chosen to use his intellect and every skill he has to do what is right. He has tremendous faith that he can make a difference in this world. He has a confidence and courage such that he doesn’t care what others think, yet a humility to know he has to do it with the help of like minded people. Those people are the “common” people, and he ridicules those who think they are not common.
He believes people are basically good. He believes that God is real. He believes that healthy people are happy people, and they need to be able to create wealth freely for their labor, and have the freedom to spend their money on what is good for them.
He believes the United States, with its Constitutional Republic, is the best environment in the world to enable and give opportunity for people to be happy and prosperous.
He believes that we can be a light for the world, but we must demand that the rest of the world respect us and our right to life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of happiness.
He believes the enemy of our country are the stupid, greedy American people who have been selfishly taking advantage of this country; who betrayed the trust and obedience of its people; and who diverted the people’s wealth for their own selfish gain, at the expense of the principles of this country. He’s not going to allow that anymore.
He has cultivated and focused the family of MAGA. Identifying those people whose goodness, industriousness, trust, and obedience have been taken advantage of and abused. He has opened our eyes to this abuse, and the rights of freedom and self determination that have been quietly stolen from us.
He has rekindled the healthy distrust of government and men with too much power held by our founders. He has recultivated the desire to reclaim our freedoms and rights, and is empowering us with a hope and pathway to reclaim our spiritual and economic freedom.
He wants the US to be a light of hope on the hill for all people. He will negotiate win/win agreements with those nations and countries who respect us; who respect the principles and intent of our Constitution. If you do not respect us, however, we are not going to let you take advantage of our goodness, or share in our wealth at our expense. If you as a nation are treating your people badly, you are going to be treated less favorably by us, until you show that you value your people as much as we value ours.
He is convincing those who are very wealthy (most of whom truly earned their money), that the best economic soil in which to build wealth is in a constitutional republic, which supports the ability of the common man to earn wealth in proportion to his efforts. The economic engine of the United States is the human spirit freed to enjoy the fruits of honest labor, and that engine has more natural and raw horsepower than any other governed economy.
The Trump Train seems to be remarkably aligned with universal principles of Truth, which reflect the will and design of our Creator, and are the best standard by which we should live. These same principles were what our country’s founders used to declare independence, and framed into the Constitution of this nation.
Our founders believed that a nation should preserve the right and freedom of an individual to seek, understand, and live by God’s principles. They believed that free individuals working together in humility would make a stronger nation than a government which dictates its will on the people. President Trump professes and seeks to lead and restore this nation back to these same principles.
These principles resonate deeply within all human beings, down to our DNA in every cell, in our spirits, and produce fruit that “miraculously” multiplies. Because we follow universal principles, we see the snowballing acceleration of momentum on day 199 of the 2nd term of this very stable genius in the history of the kingdoms of this world in the year of our Lord 2025.

As we covered last week, Ukrainian parliament has decided that “citizens aged 60+ can now enlist under contract during martial law.” ZeroHedge White House reporter Liam Cosgrove asked President Trump about this and other disturbing recruitment practices by our “Eastern Ally.”
Cosgrove: “President Zelensky just signed a law allowing for citizens age 60 and above to serve in the military,” Cosgrove said. “We’ve seen dozens of videos of young men being hauled into vans and dragged to the front lines against their will… even a young man with Down syndrome serving on the front line.”
“You said you wanted ‘to see the people stop dying’… Now the people dying are elderly, mentally handicapped, and poor conscripts.”
Cosgrove: “Even if a ceasefire doesn’t work out, why should Americans continue to fund a foreign military that’s scraping the bottom of the barrel like this?”
Trump responded that he had not heard about these actions by the Ukrainian military:
“I haven’t heard that,” referring to the specifics about Ukraine’s military draft, but reiterated that former President Biden was to blame for the bloodshed.

I read a few months ago that the average age of a Ukranian soldier is somewhere between 40 and 45.

The US drafted young men right out of high school during the Vietnam war. Many of our recruits join right out of high school today.
Why are people wringing their hands about Ukraine reducing the age to below 25 yrs old. 60 yrs and above plus handicapped is a disgrace though.

Yes … by Spring 1944, the German “Replacement Army” had reached the bottom of the barrel for actual military eligible recruits … they formed elderly, children under 15, discharged seriously wounded troops and handicapped recruits into special volkstrum units … they were actually formed into specially named “volkstrum” Battalions by the German Army.
There were names actually assigned to those special battalions that match the physical description of the recruits composing. There is actual archival footage of Hitler commissioning the units before they went to the front … watching him inspect the Hitler Youth Units (boys and girls under 15 years old) in Berlin March-April 45 was heart breaking.

I lived in Camp Howze near Gainesville, Texas for the duration of WWII, There were 1000 German POWs there… There were no fences, the German POWs were not locked in or even guarded at night… They did grounds maintenance during the day, They were happy guys, just glad to be out of the war alive…

All there was at the time were Pell Grants and Stafford loans — beyond that, you paid with money or got scholarships. The cost was reasonable and as such going to college just to do it was a rational decision and you could work a part-time job to pay for it — including a place to live and food to eat. Yeah, you had a cinder-block dorm with two twin bunk beds and a shared shower and crapper between your room and the next one for each pair of two students, and the food in the chow hall was cafeteria-style garbage, but it worked.
It worked well enough in the decades before, by the way, to put men on the moon. If we can manage that with what the college system was capable of it was plenty good enough and produced a thriving middle class.

Obama did even worse — he took the entire shooting match and federalized it, removing all discipline in that regard. Of course, being where Obama got his “degrees” from is this a surprise?
What’s the answer? Simple — force the colleges to cut that crap out by removing the money.
– No more federal student loan backing of any sort. Pell Grants and perhaps Stafford for undergrad, OK. Beyond that? Nothing. Period.
– No more bankruptcy exemption. Force lenders to underwrite both students and programs or run the risk of a bankruptcy filing after graduation that causes the lender to eat the balance.
– Ban co-signers on such loans as void due to public policy. No, Mom and/or Dad do not get stuck if you can’t pay post-graduation.
The amount charged for a perceived as needed “product” or “service,” in this case a so-called “education,” will rise to the cost the customers can bear. Imagine that, otherwise known as “basic economics.” With loans given to anyone who can fog a mirror for any useless degree, they can “bear” MUCH more…until it’s time to pay it back.

For the past 5 years, federal student loan collections have been on pause. This week, the Trump administration reversed this policy and will finally begin collecting the $1.6 trillion owed to American taxpayers. Although the Biden administration made several unconstitutional attempts at loan forgiveness, the courts stopped them. For decades, politicians have promised that subsidizing college would open doors for young Americans, but all it’s really done is inflate tuition, bloat university bureaucracies, and encourage students to take on debts they can’t repay. This student loan crisis isn’t a natural disaster—it’s a government-engineered scam.
The current student loan program came in under obama. Prior to this, student loans originated from the private sector and those that couldn’t repay them were able to file for bankruptcy. Under the obama government student loan program, one can not file for bankruptcy and so they are forever a debt slave to the government. It would figure that the party of slavery would impose this system upon the country.
Once again it will take the Republican party to free the slaves, this is something that President Trump may want to think about. Stop the FJB loan forgiveness policy and make allowance for those that need to file for bankruptcy.
Funny that outrageous tuition rises and other college costs began in earnest after the govt. took over the student loan program. Yeah, the colleges couldn’t lose with the govt. backing the loans for defaults. Voila, the wonderful managers of all that is college finances said let’s get that money and just went on a tear of increased professor salaries, higher-much much higher-tuition costs and fees and more nonsensical, impractical degree programs which could never match in career paths the cost of the tuition for them.
College is a complete rip off currently. It would be so nice to see this one causative factor get taken away.
Yes, completely agree. Would add that every time the feds increase anything related to student loans, grants, and other bucks for students, university presidents and administrators go, “oh, look! our students now have $xxx more in cash, so we can now raise tuition and fees by $xxx!” And so they do. And then students and their parents start yelling about how college is getting more expensive, so the feds again raise everything they are providing, and then the universities once again raise everything by that amount, and on and on and on. That is why it is all so expensive today.
There is also another big change with universities today compared to 30 or 40 years ago. That is the change from being teaching institutions to being a “research university”. All those research grants that professors are spending almost all of their time working on rather than teaching. Some of them don’t show up to teach at all, simply having their grad student “assistants” teach for them. The universities take a percentage of every one of those grants to apply toward their costs, usually around 20% if I am not mistaken, and it goes towards only God knows what. The grants themselves are typically a bunch of nonsense that add little to no value to anything but the professor’s curriculum vitae (the more research reports in them, the more grants they get approved for) and to the bottom line for the university budgets.
The whole thing has turned into a huge scam.
This was all Obama’s handlers’ plan.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) today announced the beginning of a coordinated wind-down of its mRNA vaccine development activities under the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA), including the cancellation and de-scoping of various contracts and solicitations. The decision follows a comprehensive review of mRNA-related investments initiated during the COVID-19 public health emergency.
“We reviewed the science, listened to the experts, and acted,” said HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. “BARDA is terminating 22 mRNA vaccine development investments because the data show these vaccines fail to protect effectively against upper respiratory infections like COVID and flu. We’re shifting that funding toward safer, broader vaccine platforms that remain effective even as viruses mutate.”
The wind-down affects a range of programs including:
Termination of contracts with Emory University and Tiba Biotech.
De-scoping of mRNA-related work in existing contracts with Luminary Labs, ModeX, and Seqirus.
Rejection or cancellation of multiple pre-award solicitations, including proposals from Pfizer, Sanofi Pasteur, CSL Seqirus, Gritstone, and others, as part of BARDA’s Rapid Response Partnership Vehicle (RRPV) and VITAL Hub.
Restructuring of collaborations with DoD-JPEO, affecting nucleic acid-based vaccine projects with AAHI, AstraZeneca, HDT Bio, and Moderna/UTMB.

Twelve states are moving forward with restrictions on what can be purchased using benefits from the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), commonly known as food stamps, as reported by The Independent Journal Review.
The new rules will prohibit recipients from buying sugary drinks, candy, and other processed items with taxpayer-funded assistance.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), under the direction of Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins, approved waiver requests from six additional states — West Virginia, Florida, Colorado, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Texas — allowing them to impose limits on SNAP-eligible purchases. They join six other states that had previously submitted similar proposals.
Each state will roll out its restrictions on a separate timeline beginning in January 2026. Here are the currently approved restrictions and implementation dates:
Arkansas: Candy and sugary drinks with less than 50% natural juice, effective July 2026.
Colorado: Soft drinks banned, effective March 2026.
Florida: Soda, energy drinks, candy, and prepared desserts banned, effective January 2026.
Idaho: Soda and candy restrictions begin January 2026.
Indiana: Soft drinks and candy prohibited starting January 2026.
Iowa: Taxable food items, including most candy, soft drinks, and prepared foods, restricted by January 2026.
Louisiana: Ban on soft drinks, energy drinks, and candy, effective January 15, 2026.
Nebraska: Soda and energy drinks banned starting January 2026.
Oklahoma: Candy and soft drinks restricted, beginning January 2026.
Texas: Sweetened drinks and candy banned as of April 2026.
Utah: Soft drinks prohibited by January 2026.
West Virginia: Soda banned, effective January 2026.
