Former House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence Chairman Devin Nunes appears on OAN with former Congressman Matt Gaetz to discuss the information released by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard.
As noted by Nunes, why did it take this long for the information to surface? That question showcases how corrupt the DC system -the Intelligence Community- is in its effort to protect itself from accountability.
Nunes also points to the raid on Mar-a-Lago as a possible entry point for investigative accountability. WATCH:
Let me refresh on something that could potentially be a revelation down the road.
In 2022 a Florida judge dismissed a lawsuit brought by President Trump against Hillary Clinton. [65-page Ruling Here] The media enjoyed ridiculing Trump using the words of the judge who dismissed the case. As noted by the Washington Times, “Judge Donald M. Middlebrooks, a Clinton appointee, said Mr. Trump’s filing was too lengthy, detailing events that “are implausible because they lack any specific allegations which might provide factual support for the conclusions reached.”
When I originally read the 108-page Donald Trump lawsuit filed in March 2022, it took me a few moments, and then I realized this was not a lawsuit; this was a legal transfer mechanism created by lawyers to establish a proprietary information silo.
Here’s a totally different take on the issues surrounding the Trump -v- Clinton lawsuit, which -from the outset- I always believed was going to be dismissed because suing all of those characters under the auspices of a civil RICO case was never the objective.
In the aftermath of the filing, the silo created by the lawsuit is grounded upon attorney-client privilege, a legal countermeasure to a predictable DOJ-NSD lawfare maneuver, which unfolded in the FBI Mar-a-Lago raid and the subsequent Jack Smith targeting operation.
In March 2022 President Trump filed a civil lawsuit against: Hillary Clinton, Hillary for America Campaign Committee, DNC, DNC Services Corp, Perkins Coie, Michael Sussmann, Marc Elias, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Charles Dolan, Jake Sullivan, John Podesta, Robby Mook, Phillipe Reines as well as Fusion GPS, Glenn Simpson, Peter Fritsch, Nellie Ohr, Bruce Ohr, Orbis Business Intelligence, Christopher Steele, Igor Danchenko, Neustar Inc., Rodney Joffe, James Comey Peter Strzok, Lisa Page, Kevin Clinesmith and Andrew McCabe. When I was about one-third of the way through reading the lawsuit, I initially stopped and said to myself this is going to take a lot of documentary evidence to back up the claims in the assertions. Dozens of attachments would be needed and hundreds of citations to the dozens of attachments would be mandatory. Except, they were not there.
After reading further, while completely understanding the background material that was being described in the filing, I realized this wasn’t a lawsuit per se’. The 108-pages I was holding in my hands was more akin to legal transfer mechanism from President Trump to lawyers who needed it.
The lawsuit filing was contingent upon a series of documents that would be needed to support the claims within it.
Whoever wrote the lawsuit had obviously reviewed the evidence to support the filing. However, the attachments and citations were missing.
That was weird.
That’s when I realized the purpose of the lawsuit. In hindsight, things became clear when the FBI later raided the home of Donald Trump, and suddenly the motive to confiscate documents, perhaps the missing lawsuit attachments and citations, surfaced.
With the manipulative, and I said intentional, “ongoing investigation” angle created by the John Durham probe essentially blocking public release of declassified documents showing the efforts of all the lawsuit participants (Trump-Russia Collusion Hoax), in 2021 President Trump needed a legal way to secure and more importantly share evidence.
Think of it like the people around Trump wanting to show lawyers the evidence in the documents. However, because of the construct of the lawfare being deployed against Trump, any lawyer would need a *reason* to review the evidence. The Trump -v- Clinton et al lawsuit becomes that ‘reason.’
The “documents” (classified or not) were likely reviewed by lawyers in preparation for the lawsuit. This is their legal justification for reviewing the documents. In essence, the lawsuit was a transfer mechanism permitting the Trump legal team to review the evidence on behalf of their client, former President Donald Trump.
Once the formation of the lawsuit was established, the retainer and acceptance of the lawyers to represent their client cemented, the legal counsel, discussion and information within legal duties/obligations of those who represent the plaintiff (Trump) becomes an information silo. In addition to previous executive privilege established by President Trump himself; outside government there is now another silo to defend against the motives of the Lawfare crew (DOJ), the attorney-client privilege.
The lawsuit itself then becomes a transfer mechanism permitting sharing of the documents and providing legal cover for the reviewers (lawyers). The details within the 108-page filing constitute the claims of the plaintiff in the lawsuit, which were established by the evidentiary documents later seized by the DOJ and FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago.
“Judge Donald M. Middlebrooks, a Clinton appointee, said Mr. Trump’s filing was too lengthy, detailing events that “are implausible because they lack any specific allegations which might provide factual support for the conclusions reached.”
There were no attachments and/or citations to the documentary evidence in the 108-page filing, because there was a legal risk to citing evidence with a status in dispute by the corrupt people in Main Justice and the FBI.
Secondarily, there was an obstruction risk to the President in 2022, if his legal team was to publish citations that were part of an ongoing investigation (John Durham). However, this doesn’t negate the value of constructing the information silo, an attorney-client privilege.
The lawsuit was dismissed in March 2022.
In August 2022 the FBI raided Mar-a-Lago.
If the documents chased by the FBI were part of the lawsuit established by President Trump and his legal team via Trump -v- Clinton, then the material seized by the FBI would be -in part- attorney client work product. Lawfully obtained, constitutionally declassified and legally protected material.
According to later reports all of the documents were returned to President Trump at the conclusion of the Jack Smith investigation.
I think Devin Nunes is right to draw attention to the motive of the FBI to raid Mar-a-Lago.
Given the nature of the FBI working collaboratively with the Clinton crew in 2016/2017, I genuinely suspect it was the underpinning evidence to support the claims of the Trump -vs- Clinton lawsuit the FBI were looking for.

Just a notation: The Law Firm was led by Peter Tikton, Esq. Peter and President Trump grew up together and attended the New York Military Academy together.
Peter has written a book “What Makes Trump Tick”, which takes us back to the beginning and ends present day. They remain good friends.
Prior to filing this lawsuit, Peter was interviewed a few times with independent journalists and the interviews were very good. The guy is a straight-shooter.

The interviewer was a young guy and he was becoming popular on Rumble, etc. He was a MAGA Type character and at that time, I was surprised that I could find those interviews with Peter Ticktin so easily when searching on my Brave Browser.
Tonight I was checking again and I cannot find those interviews. So, I am not sure what is going on with that.
What I enjoyed was that Peter was in his office, in Florida. He explained the plan of the lawsuit. He explained the young Donald Trump. He explained the current “Trump” and it was a fascinating interview(s)…2 separate interviews.
Peter actually went into the strategy of the lawsuit; that was striking to me….He stated that “Donald” wanted to file in Florida and he called Peter, explained his plan and Peter said: ‘Sure, of course, Donald”…
The one thing that impressed me the most was the confidence that Ticktin showed throughout those interviews. He stated point blank, if Donald wants something done, it gets done…Period…No questions asked.
He also stressed that Donald has a very good case and a great strategy.
Finally, Ticktin emphasized that Donald always wins and this is a winning case. He also complimented Alina Habba.

Maybe the FBI agents at the Mar-a-Lago raid were part of the cover-up. During this interview, Nunez tells Gaetz that CIA analysts co-operated with the administration’s recent investigation, but FBI agents refused to so so. Specifically, at 17:19 Nunez says:
“If you look through our report that we did, that was just released this week, in there you’ll see that we were able to interview several analysts from the CIA. What we were not able to interview were the people from the FBI that were involved in some of this.
“And so, I think that this strike force that the Department of Justice has now put together. That would be where I would start. Right there. You know that there is a bunch of FBI agents that were involved in this, never interviewed, probably never interviewed by Durham and try to get to the bottom of, because this was manipulation of intelligence for political purposes.”
There is no immunity in producing false intelligence in order to frame an incoming President. There is nothing on even “the perimeter of the core responsibilities of the President” (SCOTUS term) that would permit any functioning judge from giving Obama immunity for plotting to FRAME anyone. Ignore the nonsense about “Absolute Immunity.” SCOTUS never referenced “Absolute Immunity,” but did discuss “Presumptive immunity” which can be rejected by a judge, but subject to further judicial review.
All we really need to remember is that the Constitution itself forbids Presidents from committing “Treason, bribery, or any other HIGH CRIMES (felonies today) and Misdemeanors. As soon as you hear that a felony was committed, just forget about “immunity.” There isn’t any. There is no “core responsibility of the President” that has anything to do with deliberately committing a felony while carrying out that “core responsibility.” A core responsibility of the President is appointing ambassadors with the advice and consent of the Senate. Having followed along here for a bit I’ve been convinced for quite some time that the MaL raid was not an attempt to find incriminating evidence against Pres. Trump. It was an attempt to recover evidence that proved crimes by those conducting the raid. When Pres. Trump’s lawsuit hit the streets there certainly had to be “Oh, Snap!” going on beyond the level of that when they found George Papadopolous, returning from Europe in US Customs, DIDN’T have the $10K they’d attempted to frame him with.
The key to understanding and unraveling the coup is understanding how our government works.
Just like dominos, the government needs a triggering event. The CIA needed Obama to order up a new ICA. That triggered a cascade of actions. Not everyone in the cascade even knows why they’re doing it. Intel is collected and fed. Others assemble it cherry picking what they need. Leaking what helps the coup.
The FBI needed a trigger for their actions. Nobody would buy a completely random investigation of Trump. Too hard to sell. The FBI needed a trigger event. Obama provided it.
Similarly, FBI agents don’t just raid President’s homes. It was a smash and grab robbery. They needed a trigger. GSA pretends it needs documents returned. The FBI gets a hack magistrate to sign out a warrant. Trigger.
The triggering events unleash a cascade of activity across the government. That cascade ensures random bureaucrats are “just following procedure”. They don’t need to know the fraudulent origins. They don’t even ask.
It’s funny that I remember writing about triggers on this page 4-5 years ago, maybe more, because these smoking gun documents hadn’t been produced. We suspected they existed, but nobody had seen them.
But we can always arrive, deductively, at their existence because the cascade was self-evident.

As a litigator many years ago, it is much more often the case that evidence is not attached to a Complaint. The Complaint being the document that kicks off litigation and what SD read and references in the post. Essentially the purpose of a Complaint is to say to the court, “this are the facts I will prove at trial.” Evidence is essential, but not at this point of the litigation.
The only place in the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure that talk about evidence attached to a Complaint (to my recollection) is Rule 10(c) and it’s optional.
A judge can throw out a Complaint on the basis that “assuming all the facts alleged are true, is there a legal basis for relief?” This is easier to understand via example: If a Plaintiff (Claimant) says in a Complaint, “The Defendant owes me money” and that’s it, the judge will throw the case out because no legal basis for the right to that money was pleaded (stated). To avoid this outcome, lawyers write up the facts in a Complaint to match the elements of some cause of action, breach of contract, negligence, etc.
This isn’t to say that SD’s point is incorrect; it’s just to say that documents (evidence) not being part of a Complaint is not unusual. The is sometimes someone here who starts every comment with “Retired Magistrate here”, I think s/he would say something along the lines of what I say above but in a better way as I only litigated for a very short part of my career.
And, attached hereto and incorporated herein as Exhibit “A” is the Contract, to avoid the granting of a Motion to Dismiss…

But, if the FBI was looking for specific documents at MAL, wouldn’t they suspect that PDJT had made copies of said documents? If copies exist, what good are the originals?
On the other hand, wasn’t the MAL raid where the FBI put fake notes on the documents and took pictures, like ‘Top Secret’ or something? Maybe the raid was just to plant that ‘evidence’ that PDJT was in possession of documents he shouldn’t have.
