My best friend’s husband died earlier this week. She was with him in his final moments. She described talking about Our Lord waiting for him, telling him it was time and it was OK to let go . . . She described the most beatific moment when he looked at his wife of some 45 years and just gently closed his eyes. This was his signal to her that he was ready . . . About an hour later, the nursing home called and told her he had passed. This is why she is my very best friend.

Known them both for many, many years. He is with Our Lord now. We can be sad at his passintg, of course. But our faith tells us we can also be joyous at his passing. He was a good man . . . and we know where he is now.

“David persuades to patience and confidence in God, by the state of the godly and of the wicked.”
(1-6) “When we look abroad we see the world full of evil-doers, that flourish and live in ease. So it was seen of old, therefore let us not marvel at the matter. We are tempted to fret at this, to think them the only happy people, and so we are prone to do like them: but this we are warned against. Outward prosperity is fading. When we look forward, with an eye of faith, we shall see no reason to envy the wicked. Their weeping and wailing will be everlasting. The life of religion is a believing trust in the Lord, and diligent care to serve him according to his will. It is not trusting God, but tempting him, if we do not make conscience of our duty to him. WE ARE FIGHTING A SPIRITUAL WAR OF GOOD VERSUS EVIL
PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. 2 Corinthian’s 7:1 “cleanse thyself…” Ephesians 5:26 by the washing of the word. And you might remember, our children are our future, know thyself?? Do you know your children and see the future?
The laws of God will not allow a corrupt people to linger, history is a testament to that. All is excepted if God is first in our lives, we will not except separation and our Lord will not forsake us. And this isn’t a test, it’s a way of life. Not a sprint, but a marathon. You must find the peace in the storms, and enjoy what is before us. You discover that all has purpose.
The truth is it’s never “us” it’s God through us when we step out in faith. We cannot achieve without our Lord, we can only destroy. So that small step of faith is also the giant step. All things are possible with God. Matthew 19:26 Philippians 4:13. It’s just a choice.
we are vessels, this world is realizing this. What we fill it with is a choice. Are we deliberate in our choice? Or are we allowing it to be filled by default? Anything but God is from Satan.

The Heroine, DelLisa, has been shepherding me for several years – and has been hovering close this past year. My immune system took flight and my blood pressure has been unstable, to say the least.
During my appointment last Tuesday we celebrated stability, successful progress. Last night and this morning reminded me ..
When you leave the doctor’s office with a ‘diagnosis’, you can plot a treatment plan. Not sure what you do when gremlins pop in, shake you up, then hide. You go looking … what did I do to cause that? I did nothing different.

All I know for sure: God let me get up this morning. It’s up to me to make the best day possible.
The reason for the note, however, is … there is no one to let you know my status. All I can say is … if possible I will post. I will return if its only a pause
If I had s that magic crystal ball on the future, I’d share what I know.

Re ‘ma’s’ diabetes… i assume type 2. That is the overabundance of carbs in the diet. We have made natural fat in food an enemy and substituted bread, taters, cake and much much mor.
quercetin and many other nutritional supplements are helpful in overriding the bad effects. The solution is as low a carb intake daily as the person can discipline themselves to enjoy.
Avoiding poisonous ‘sugar substitutes’ is also crucial. When the label says Zero Carbs or Zero Sugar be very wary.

‘Thy will be done’ is at the heart of the matter (pun intended)
Fatalist that I am, I believe what happens is what is supposed to happen.
That said, it is up to me to do all i can to overcome obstacles

While I feel these shakes, which are much like earthquake tremors, I view them as warnings. I feel Doc left without me – and I had to remain because there is yet something I am supposed to do.
Figuring out what that ‘something’ IS is the challenge.
Fatalist that I am, I will not be allowed to leave until that ‘something’ is done – and I will have what I need to get it done.

I hope you don’t mind me sticking my nose into your conversation here.
In the early 2000s my husband had high blood pressure and didn’t want to take meds. On the way home after church in 2010 we thought he was having a heart attack so I drove him straight to the ER, which was very close and easier/quicker for me to get him there than wait on an ambulance.
Ended up he did not have a heart attack (thank You, Lord), but he did have a stent put in his 99% blocked Widow Maker artery. Sheesh, wadda name.
Now he’s on two meds daily for high blood pressure.
About 4 years ago his heart started doing odd things and beating irregularly. At the time, and due to the plannedemic and thinking we’d soon be living way off grid, I was deep into reading about natural cures all around us.
Don’t remember where I found it, but I learned that apple pectin, the liquid kind, can calm crazy heart beats.
So off I went.
I bought organic apples, followed a simple recipe and when it was ready — and the next time my husband’s heart started to race, or pound hard, or pound irregularly, he’d take a big swig of liquid organic pectin and within seconds — seconds! — his heart would calm down and beat sweetly again.
Since then a friend has started talking apple pectin for the same reason and with the same results, and from time-to-time I’ll take a swig, too, although I don’t particularly like the flavor, but my husband loves it.
You don’t need organic apples, but since they coat all the other apples with so much wax now-a-days, it takes a long time to scrape it all off before doing anything else. I’m looking forward to fall and harvesting as many apples from neglected apple trees as I can!
Here’s the recipe if you’d like to try it —
— Wash apples and if they have stems, keep them.
— Cut apples into pieces and place those in a big stock pot, seeds, core, stem and all (of course depends on how many apples or how much pectin you’ll be making)
— Cover apples in pot with fresh water
— Bring water to boil, then turn down heat to low simmer, cover the pot and keep it there for 2 hours.
— Then turn off heat, do NOT remove cover, and leave on stove overnight.
— Next day pour apple water into a clean pot, and strain as much water/juice as you can from the apple muck and put that in the pot, too. Throw the apple muck out to the deer.
— With the butt end of a wooden spoon measure how much liquid is in the pot, and mark it for reference (I put a little piece of masking tape around the area, since everything else I’ve tried I’ve messed up)
— Put pot on stove and when liquid starts to boil turn it down to a low roll. Do not put cover on pot.
— Leave on stove, watching the liquid until you have half the liquid you started out with. Once you have reduced the liquid by half you’re done.
I bottle the pectin in small canning jars for 10 minutes.
This pectin is too thin/runny for making jams and jellies, but is a thicker liquid than apple juice.
I’m definitely not a doctor and can’t tell anyone what to do or what to take, but I can tell you I learned this wonderful information from someone else I cannot even give credit to, and it has been a marvelous gift from the Lord for my husband and me.

Black Seed Oil, Sesame Seeds (make organic Benne Cookies — a great way to enjoy a sweet treat and get lots of sesame seeds, too), magnesium, potassium, Lemon Balm, beets, pomegranate, and garlic are all supposed to help lower blood pressure, and if you’re not on meds, now is a great time to fight off high blood pressure on your own naturally.
Magnesium and potassium are minerals our bodies really need and many of us do not have enough of. Taking these supplements can be tricky, since taking too much of anything (most things) can do harm, or interact negatively with other meds.
I’d say all the other stuff should be good-to-go to take, but there’s always some oddity where the stuff is not for everyone. Just a little bit of checking will let you know if you can take Black Seed Oil (take it in pill form, since the oil is strong and bitter), or eat all the garlic you want, or dring Lemon Balm tea a couple times a day, etc.
My husband was on two BP meds and we are weaning him slowly off the stronger of the two, since his bp is going down. Can’t tell you for sure what helped him the most, since he takes everything but potassium.
I love finding the helps, if not the cures, that God has spread all around us. I pray you will find something that works for you.
