Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche flew to Tallahassee, Florida and interviewed former Epstein aide Ghislaine Maxwell for five hours.
WASHINGTON (AP) — The Justice Department’s No. 2 official met Thursday with Ghislaine Maxwell, the imprisoned former girlfriend of financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
The meeting in Florida, which Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche said he worked to arrange, is part of an ongoing Justice Department effort to cast itself as transparent following fierce backlash from parts of President Donald Trump’s base over an earlier refusal to release additional records in the Epstein investigation.
“Ms. Maxwell answered every single question. She never stopped, she never invoked a privilege, she never declined to answer. She answered all the questions truthfully, honestly and to the best of her ability,” attorney David Oscar Markus told reporters outside the federal courthouse in Tallahassee, where Maxwell met with Blanche.
In a social media post Tuesday, Blanche said that Trump “has told us to release all credible evidence” and that if Maxwell has information about anyone who has committed crimes against victims, the FBI and the Justice Department “will hear what she has to say.” (read more)

I’m 100% for him, I know he’s exhausted, but I have concerns, and they’re real. I won’t apologize for that.
He has very few options on Ukraine. The Deep Statist, Democrats , and foreign governments are undermining him with everything they have. Trump was not informed beforehand of the major strike inside Russia. They knew he’d stop it. Zelenskyy doesn’t want peace, and Putin took advantage of it to stab Trump in the back. Putin isn’t a good guy like some around here think. He’s a murderous ex-secret policeman.

Trump could declare war on Russia AND Ukraine. Start bombing both of them. I’d be fine with that, but we all know Congress would stop him.

Is the Commander-in-chief unable to stop sending money and weapons? If he no longer has the authority to to do that, and roque elements control US money and weapons flow to foreign sites, that is a big deal.
Whether Zelesnky wants peace or not is not the controlling factor on US money and weapons. Stop giving them to him and his wants won’t be worth anything.
Similarly, whether Putin is a good or bad guy, he had very good reasons; why was the Pentagon operating 43 biolabs in Ukraine and moving to include it in NATO?

Deeper than even McConnell, the Amy Barrett and other SCOTUS recommendations have come from the Federalist Society, which somehow has the reputation as a “gold standard” for judge assessment, but which produces judge after judge after judge who sounds conservative during Senate hearings and who then shift left once on the Court.

There is something called “Critical Thinking” that relies on curiosity and asking questions in order to determine actions or predict a path ahead. I must warn you though, if you ask questions about religion, you will be labeled and smeared as you say.

Once you realize the impetus to kick over the Epstein Hornet Nest came from the SDNY in 2019 during the heat of their Lawfare effort to “Get Trump”, raided his lair looking for anything they could use against the sitting president and came up empty, everything else falls into place.
The silencing of Maxwell via the deal she was strong-armed into accepting and the neutralization of Epstein himself – however that happened – all served their effort to get out from under their mistake of desperately reopening this can of worms to begin with.
Now the second Trump administration is saddled with the political fallout of dealing with their fuster cluck, mostly with items of evidence & testimony about things that happened outside of US jurisdiction and is beyond the statute of limitations to prosecute.
She is 63. She probably won’t serve all 20 years but this is essentially a life sentence. She may deserve it, but this was a big operation. If they worked for the CIA , why would they lock her up?

The Southern District of New York (SDNY) is a federal prosecutor’s office, not a state one — it operates under the umbrella of the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) in Washington, often referred to as “Main Justice”.
In 2019, Bill Barr was the AG and Donald Trump was the President, so how was this part of some “lawfare effort” to “get Trump”?
Given how it turned out for Epstein, this was more likely part of an effort to “silence Epstein,” especially in light of Bill Barr’s cover-up of the murder of Epstein.
No doubt all of this will be weighing on Ghislaine’s mind as she meets with Trump’s defense attorney for a second day, discussing who knows. Ghislaine will not want to end up like Jeffrey or Jean-Luc Brunel (or Virginia Giuffre or Roy Black?).
Will Maxwell agree to testify before Congress so that all the “truth” can “finally” come out in exchange for a commutation of her sentence?
The SDNY was under the influence of the Clinton’s more than Barr or Trump at that time. Barr did nothing about it and they ran wild. Most of the preposterous Lawfare garbage came out of the SDNY either directly or indirectly.
Back when Epstein signed his plea deal in 2008, it included a provision granting immunity from criminal prosecution to any “named or unnamed co-conspirator” of his.
That has implications for Maxwell, and her legal team is bringing her conviction to the US Supreme Court.
But that aside, there are a million oddities about the Epstein story which only make sense if he was part of some intelligence service. So forget about ‘the list”, the vital question is what was his involvement with the ‘intelligence community”? Because they are the real bad guys here and Epstein was just their tool.

I cannot put myself in a place to imagine giving up my child for anything. I volunteered for an organization called Love Life that ministered on the sidewalks in front on abortion clinics and Planned Parenthoods to try and get the moms to understand the gift that had been given to them and introduce them to Jesus. For every one of me, there were 10 -15 of the opposition who were wearing the rainbow colors, spewing their hate and vile, telling the women that we lying and couldn’t be trusted. We were successful in saving a few babies but the number that are aborted is staggering. These children that have been sex-trafficed is also something I have trouble wrapping my head around. The main thing I get from this is that a lot of laws have been passed to hinder the Executive that have no basis in the Constitution. Where do these 210-day and 120-day limits come from? They’re not in the Constitution. The President IS the Executive Branch, and he can hire and fire whoever he wants whenever he wants.
There is nothing in the Constitution that says the President’s nominee can’t serve past 120 days or 210 days or any amount of days if the Senate fails to act on nominations. These are just invented unconstitutional limits placed on the Executive by corrupt Senators in years past. President Trump should challenge these rules for the good of the Office of the President.

I like General Michael Flyn”s views on this Epstein matter. He says Trump and team should be focused on protecting the children in this matter.
