However, hours later the Trump administration responded by removing Habba’s deputy.

This has all the makings of a plan originating from the White House. I’m thinking Blondi had her marching orders well in advance of Habba’s removal. It’s sorta like writing a computer program with the if/then statements. If this happens, then here is the required response.

In other words, my view in hindsight remains that “losing” in 2020, the consequences for many devastating, was ordained to give us a wiser and more effective President Trump whom we are watching destroy the irredeemably evil which for far too long has had a death grip on our nation.

A takeaway is that the president can order Congress adjourned if there is a disagreement between the two houses on when/how long to adjourn.

The way I read it, Speaker Johnson has the power to disagree with Senate Majority Leader Thune re: adjournment, throwing the “hot potato” to the Senate – in which case the president, upon notification from the Speaker of adjournment disagreement, can adjourn Congress if the Senate won’t act.
It seems wrong and unconstitutional that Congress, including the Uniparty, can withhold the president’s nominees, six months into his term. Seems like it’s a textbook time for President Trump to test this heretofore executive power – to get Alina Habba in there.
The Constitution specifies “advice and consent” of the Senate, NOT gor the Senate to obstruct and leave important offices vacant, without even an up-or-down vote.

Alan Dershowitz said today on his show that this was manifestly unconstitutional and would be reversed 9-0 by SCOTUS. The judiciary has NO power to appoint judges under Article III of the US Constitution.
It’s becoming increasingly clear the Uniparty has chosen to provoke a Constitutional crisis through the Judicial Branch. That makes sense as the Judiciary embodies all the qualities of the elite professional managerial class, has enumerated Constitutional powers, and over two centuries of tradition legitimizing its role in the American system of government.
Those last two qualities are what the professional managerial class embedded in the other two branches lack, and the Judicial has the additional benefit of not being subject to the whims and follies of we mere peasants.
