Lets us a new word shall we. In our current dilemma words have meaning to better define our condition.
Rebellion – action against those in authority, against the rules, or against normal and accepted ways of behaving
( organized is usually a modifier and another modifier is armed or violent, you know like the summer of love)
Make no mistake we have a group of people some organized and some just fellow travelers inside and outside the US government who are in rebellion against our government (as it exists under the current administration).
Rebellion better defines every action against duly constituted ELECTED authority which has taken place since 2015. Yes a coup took place but the rebellion continues apace with each and every new day..
A rebellion requires a proper response from the executive office which is charged with the people’s safety and carrying out the will of the majority through their elected officials.
While the rebellion against the administrations of President Trump has been loosely organized it is existent. The rebels are fully against the Constitutional Republic of these United States as clearly stated by the founders they are outside the law or twist the law to their own ends.
I a citizen of these United States call upon our President to declare martial law and put down this rebellion and restore an uncorrupted government to these United States.

The Senate rules need to be changed ASAP. If a Senator has concerns about a U.S. Attorney or Judge appointed to their state, then they should be able to voice that concern before the body and explain their concern, then allow the vote to commence. If it is a valid concern, then their objection may sway others. If it is just politics, then the nomination deserves a vote.
Now she is free for President Trump to appoint her to be a special persecutor via the AG and be one more front on a multi-front campaign. We know that in President Trump’s administration the girls have more balls than the guys do, if she is made a SP, she will not disappoint.

To minimize the impact of the tea party movement in the 2010 and 2012 elections. Remember how it started…. With Obama’s public attacks against these grassroots groups…. And Lois Lerner head of the IRS Exempt Organizations division, taking the hint… and starting and running a years long series of oppressive IRS actions against the groups….to thwart them and put them out of business before they could find a foothold and get going for real.
Having represented a number of the groups, I knew there was something going on at the IRS in 2010, when applications for exempt status that normally took 30 days to process suddenly became “stalled” … for months…. Then for years….
Then I really knew something was going on when the application for exempt status from one of my clients, a group formed “to hold public officials accountable”, was held up for more than 3+ years while the IRS demanded copies of every public communication the group had made against Obamacare…. Remember that? The most powerful federal agency demanded to see every statement, every ad, every word uttered by a grassroots group challenging the President’s signature legislative program. Rosie O’Donnell, I will SHOW you “authoritarian…” and it isn’t President Trump.
The words and terms put together by IRS officials in their BOLO alert included watching out for groups formed to hold public officials accountable…..and the Obama crowd got away with it.
NO ONE at the IRS was held accountable. Certainly Obama was not. He was exposed publicly for turning the IRS loose on citizens groups and conservative donors, but with no repercussions, why WOULDN’T Obama and his cronies believe they could do whatever they wanted to overturn the decision of the voters to elect Donald Trump in 2016… to thwart his presidency….which they did, and then to manipulate the outcome of the 2020 election….which they did, and then to try to jail President Trump, his lawyers, his electors, his supporters AFTER 2020 to drive the nail into President Trump’s coffin, both personally and into his political operation….by jailing not just him, but dozens of his supporters and lawyers and electors.
That’s what the Obama crowd has been doing for more than 15 year.

Agree. Folks dissing Rasmussen but he’s been reliable. Polls are polls. I would like to see some action going forward, particularly in the VA and NJ gubernatorial races. Republicans of all types should not be discounting the near religious fervor and ruthlessness of the Democrats. Their eyes are on the prize–2026 mid-terms and taking the House.
How do you know they aren’t working on this? Do you have proof they aren’t? I agree they should be well into preparing for the midterms right now. I hope they are doing so in a much quieter fashion for a reason.

The House has adjourned until September. The Senate was urged by President Trump to remain in session through the August recess to approve 130 nominees waiting for approval. But a surprise could be in store.
If the Senate adjourns until September, like the House, President Trump could make recess appointments of all 130. If the Senate cannot agree with the House to adjourn, under the Constitution, President Trump could himself adjourn the Senate. The question is if Thune would go along with this or try the fake adjournment route, with one senator staying behind to pretend the Senate is open to prevent recess appointments.
We shall soon see. If President Trump acted to adjourn the Senate to make the recess appointments, we could also see someone like Pamela Bondi (for example only) depart and be replaced by a recess appointment. It would be the opportunity to do that.
Speaking as a Missourian, I’d like to think that at least Eric Schmidt would declare the Senate officially in recess, my understanding was that it was a problem before because not one single Senator would make such a declaration during the first term.
