the chapel restoration …painting videos.
Sorry I haven’t been able to figure out how to cue these up to the exact time stamp to filter out the unrelated for sharing here.
There is no playlist for the chapel restoration segments… I believe because they are planning/making a coffee table book (one of the owners is a professional photographer) and it will sell better when published if there is no other place to easily find documentation of it all, as done over time.
They are being watched by the French state historical people – because of who originally built it – and it will be somewhat of a thing-of-note when it’s all said & done.
An awful lot of money and the best craftspersons in France – who also have worked on Notre Dame Cathedral’s restoration, which includes these tile makers – have done this restoration work.
I believe, iirc, I remember hearing them say they want it to be on France’s Historical Register (whatever their equivalent is there of our US Historical Register).
It’s getting close to finished.
I appreciate the ethos of prioritizing careful restoration instead of tearing down & rebuilding for economy because it’s “easier & cheaper”. And I love watching master craftsmen working.
A wonderful -and fun documentary; indeed.
Looking forward to the flooring being renovated/ restored.

Heavenly Father, thank You for bringing me through this day and Lord, forgive me for the times when I have wandered outside Your best will for me, instead of trusting You implicitly.
Thank You, that You are such a gracious Shepherd to me and that You come and rescue me even when I lose my way and stray from the path that You have laid out for me.
As I look back over today, I know Lord that there were things that I should have said and done differently, and times when I reacted in a manner that was not honouring Your holy name. Forgive me I pray, but thank You, Father, that You always faithfully prepared to gently bring me back to Yourself.
Give me a good night’s sleep I pray, knowing that there is no condemnation because I am in Christ, and may I wake up in the morning refreshed and ready to do Your will. In Jesus’ name I pray,
