WE ARE FIGHTING A SPIRITUAL WAR OF GOOD VERSUS EVIL

PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD

Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.

I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.

Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.

With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.

Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.

Well That Was Certainly An Adventure!

It was actually more difficult to give away my chainsaw to someone helping clean up the flood damage in Hunt (Camp Mystic), Ingram, Kerrville, than I imagine.

This morning headed to the Camp Mystic area trying to find someone I could give my extra chainsaw to. It was actually more difficult than I imagined.

First, my GPS guided me towards private property a few miles from the destination, so I turned around to head back. Just then a DPS Trooper and his female partner approached, heading to the same private road. When I explained my purpose, he said that I had been heading in correct direction and to follow them. After about a half mile they turned back explaining that they received a call and need to go back, but for me to continue following my GPS.

About a mile further I noticed a gray Ford pickup following me. About a mile further on my GPS showed 1 more mile after I turn Right on to a road with a closed gate and no markings. The pickup was the rancher whose property I was on. After I explained, he said that I needed to go another 10 miles angling to the Right, then guided me about a mile deeper into his ranch, then said I would hit pavement in about another mile.

His direction took me right to the Camp Mystic entrance gate which was guarded by a DPS Trooper. After explaining to him, he instructed me to continue on the same road and go to the Emergency Operation Center in Kerrville.
(That will not work, because along with the chainsaw I included all of my spare parts; a carburetor, carburetor mounting gaskets, carburetor overhaul kit, 4 quarts of fuel, new cutting chain, carrying case, three sizes of leather gloves for a man, hearing protection headphones, and other equipment, plus kids leather gloves)
(If an organization gets their hands on something like that, they will separate it out, then the spare parts become junk)

The road to the Kerrville EOS went right through Hunt (about a mile or so from Camp Mystic) (I really did not pay attention to the distance because I was trying to avoid hitting something on getting in way of someone) and Ingram, and then Kerrville.

After talking to more than a dozen people in the Hunt area (and I learned to stay away from DPS Troopers as well as any group wearing Hi Viz vest) I finally came across a man whose chainsaw started giving him trouble this morning. After he got over the initial shock of someone trying to give him a good working used chainsaw, parts, miscellaneous hand tools, gloves, gallon of coffee, gallon of tea, a few miscellaneous kids toys, and such, he gladly accepted it.

While he and I were at the bed of our pickup showing and explaining things to him, about an 8 year old boy walked up. I grabbed the kids gloves, handed them to him and asked if he thought he could use them. He could, thanked me and ran off.
(Kids that age are both shy and easily excitable. As long as that boy is healthy and healthy that is all I care)
The man said that his home was only slightly damaged and that he and his wife finished repairs on Saturday.

From the time I left the house till I finally found a taker for the chainsaw was more than 4 hours. We live about 0:45 minutes from there. After talking to a few people we finally pieced together that the Government messed with the GPS Coordinates on purpose to keep sightseers away. If I had gone the route through Kerrville, Ingram, and Hunt, DPS Troopers would have stopped me in Ingram. The Government messing with the GPS like that actually allowed me to succeed in my mission. I am old, so it wore on me a little, but I succeeded. I basically snuck up on the back side of the DPS Troopers by going through that ranch.

Wow! This was about as long as some of the articles that Sundance writes.
