I don’t think that people are being fair to Bondi. Her office is extremely difficult to perform, and is actually very constrained. I flatly do not believe anything that has been officially said about Epstein – no more than I ever believed the official explanations about JFK’s murder.
I also recognize that she is probably not allowed to release the material to the public. To do so would insinuate that third parties had committed felony crimes, without a Grand Jury indictment to that effect. And, this is not allowed. Furthermore, I have no confidence in the truthfulness of the material anyway, given its source. Epstein was a blackmailer.
I’ve made similar defenses of Kash and Bongino.
Point was, ignore the Epstein stuff. The above case is in your face of what Bondi’s DOJ should not be pursuing. Even if found innocent, that Dr will be bankrupt and will never practice again. He should be held as a hero and the epitome of the hypocratic oath, but instead….

My priorities are :
deportation continuing effectivenesss;
the economy (which I do believe has been effectively set in motion by Potus)
ending the Ukraine war AND the establishment of effective foreign policy NOT RUN by the Clinton-Obama-Biden DOS
bringing actual law enforcement back as the primary aim of the DOJ
There are only so many big/ headline grabbing major things an admin can attempt before media and enemies use those against it

The problem for Pam is that she screwed up the issue by constantly going on television and claiming she has the files and she will release them. THAT is where she failed miserably. As a lawyer and prosecutor she should have known better. Personally, while I have no interest in the Epstein affair. I believe the evidence on his crimes have long been destroyed. The people on the right who have invested so much time and emotion into this should have suspected it all a long.
There is no way in hell the DOJ had hard evidence linking Donald Trump or any prominent Trump supporting republican to a pedophile ring and kept it from “leaking”. You can’t even suggest it. If the Grand Jury, which meets in secret, declines to indict, you can’t say anything – you can’t even say that they were convened.
I would not have said anything about “the Epstein files.” Except to acknowledge that they are in the possession of the DOJ, as potential evidence. And that they, and their handling, and any future plans if any, are and will remain secret.

There was a time when I felt that we should move away from Ukraine, but that was before North Korea entered the fray by sending a significant number of troops to the Russian front lines. Thousands, not hundreds, I believe.

I know that the Ukrainian government created this problem by their own corruption and by misuse of funds and weapons. Eventually this should be looked into. The problem is the citizens of Ukraine are suffering badly from Russian aggression and also their own government’s actions.. This war needs a decisive conclusion.
We cannot stand by and let the North Koreans get a foothold so close to Europe. North Korea is a Chinese proxy we are told. The EU and the previous administration should have realized that once BRICS was formed they had to review their objectives and plan accordingly.
President Trump and his team are now faced with the dilemma of the beginnings of WWIII. Not their fault, but they are now in charge. I support sending defensive weapons to Ukraine until a more lucrative plan is devised to nip this escalation in the bud. The entry of North Korea into the conflict changes everything.

I have no doubt that Ukraine is a mess that is not of President Trumps making. That said, President Trump is now our President (thank God) so even though it was not a problem he made it is his to deal with now. The Ukraine Natsi battalion is probably the most to blame, but Putin’s fingers are not fully clean either. So, a lot of blame to spread around, which has nothing to do with all the innocent people who have been and who are being killed now on both sides.
We live in a very dangerous time which I fear many don’t appreciate. I pray our President is able to stop this madness before we are actively fighting WWIII on multiple fronts. Given Putin’s recent misdeeds, I am more inclined to support sending defensive weapons to Ukraine, but that said, Zelinski really, really, needs to go and any weapons sent must be accounted for, so they are not sold to be turned into cash which is used for nefarious purposes.
I do not see what choice President Putin had when Biden’s group took over. Ringed by NATO who wants to control Russia’s natural resources because the EU, at least, has NO natural resources.

We have no idea what the deal involved with the entry of North Korea into the conflict.
I think they would be looking as shared interest in the mineral earth production in Ukraine and something I read said that Russia was supplying North Korea with advanced nuclear weapon technology. Also Ukraine has good soil for wheat production if I am not mistaken. Something that is badly needed for North Korea and might be a potential deal on the table for supply.
Then of course there all of the ready made bio labs. If one can think it, it can happen.

I think quite possibly so. Even more, I trust Trump’s wisdom although I (we) know “better.” Sometimes a true Diplomat (which he is) has to give some things in order to win a lot. His reasons for putting the Epstien issue to bed or at least on the back burner are unknown to me but I do trust his judgement.
p.s. I was imagining… what if those who can control the stock market (true) said to me essentially – we’re going to crash this whole financial system and throw hundreds of millions of people into poverty and set back America’s ‘golden age’ for at least decades unless the Epstein stuff is dropped because that would mean serious jail time for me/us. What decision would I make?

Does anyone seriously believe that if Ukraine laid down their arms today that the Russians would destroy the country?
They have not done so in the parts that they occupy at the request of those citizens who voted for them and were ignored by the Ukraine government. The Russians have rebuilt the bridges and houses in those areas and they have not conscripted those citizens to fight and die like Zelensky has who is not even a legitimate president as his term ended long ago.

This is a really tough case. “Honoring his oath” to “do no harm” technically would not have required handing out fraudulent vaxx cards. Two points concerning the 2026 mid-terms: Donald Trump will not be on the ballot in 2026 to draw in a maximum number of MAGA voters. Election fraud is still an industrial scale activity in this country.
And so the Democrats and their RINO allies have every prospect of controlling the Congress in 2027 if (1) the MAGA base doesn’t come out in enough numbers in November 2026, and if (2) millions of fraudulent or otherwise illegal ballots can be injected into the nation’s election management systems.
What is going on with the Epstein saga is in fact a sideshow which is a distraction from the central question of who will control Congress after the 2026 mid-terms. These two near-term issues are the ones which need to be given quick attention if we are to keep the MAGA movement alive and well after 2026:
— Illegal Immigration: There can be no compromise on the Trump administration’s commitment to deport illegal immigrants. No amnesties can be given. None. H1B visa holders must go out the door too.
— Election Integrity: Well before the 2026 mid-terms, the Trump administration must expose election fraud operations in all their gory detail, prosecute those who run the election fraud machinery, and use Federal law to its maximum possible effect in closing down the election fraud operations in the swing states. Post 2026, the MAGA movement must work hard to implement one-day in person voting using paper ballots.
Let us not allow distractions such as the Epstein saga to take our eyes off the ball.
Get as many illegal immigrants deported as current resources reasonably allow. Furthermore, actions which support election integrity should become a major focus of DOJ/FBI investigative efforts. And if the Bondi/Patel nexus of the DOJ/FBI deep state won’t do it, then appoint a special presidential commission to handle the work.

I would be in favor of making a case-wise assessment regarding these people. First of all, severely punish the employers who knowingly accepted illegals: they are the “enablers.” Then, consider issuing temporary worker visas on the spot (!!!).
The key purpose here is to interdict human trafficking. Someone who’s here illegally is one short step away from slavery. We passed the 13th Amendment long ago – why is this vestige of it still here?

You can arrive unannounced, require them to show their papers, and notice who isn’t reaching for their wallet. ICE is not punishing them, but protecting them as people. If you find more illegals, punish the employer three times harder than last time.

Once conditions in their home country are restored, the “protected” status is supposed to be ended and they are to return to their home country.
