I have been strongly opposed to that from the very beginning. People are now allowed to buy whatever they want – Gasoline Powered, Hybrids (which are doing very well), or New Technologies as they come about – No more EV Mandate. I have campaigned on this for two years and, quite honestly, when Elon gave me his total and unquestioned Endorsement, I asked him whether or not he knew that I was going to terminate the EV Mandate – It was in every speech I made, and in every conversation I had. He said he had no problems with that – I was very surprised!
Additionally, Elon asked that one of his close friends run NASA and, while I thought his friend was very good, I was surprised to learn that he was a blue blooded Democrat, who had never contributed to a Republican before. Elon probably was, also. I also thought it inappropriate that a very close friend of Elon, who was in the Space Business, run NASA, when NASA is such a big part of Elon’s corporate life. My Number One charge is to protect the American Public!

I’m also aware that he has labelled himself a socialist of a certain ilk. I hope to be further enlightened!
In the meantime, I’ll say that I’m not so much in favor of Musk or what he may or may not be trying to do. I was just trying to narrow the topic for a discussion of the pros and cons of what he actually claims to be trying to do, rather than general negative comments and ad hominems.
TBH, I never cared that much for Trump as a person, either. Or perhaps as a persona is a better word choice. But that has never stopped me from whole-heartedly supporting him because I do believe that he loves this country and truly wants to make it great again. I don’t know why everyone wants to start a “third party.” There are already dozens of them. There are hundreds of defunct parties. Even Soros found it convenient to buy a major party.
Few third parties can get on the ballot in all 50 states.

It’s all Grande Theatre, preoccupying US commoners conditioned with bread and circuses, one of the keys of the 100 Year Plan sinking the US axis.
A Plan executing with tectonics including:

* Military depletion.

* Immigration flood degradations.
* Psychological warfare by TikTok etc.
* Illegal drug attrition e.g. fentanyl.
* Attrition by coerced genetic manipulation shots (& Replicons coming).
* Panopticon surveillance state construction.

A few associated mechanisms have been temporarily slowed under Trump, e.g. the EV Mandate of the climate canard. These too are theater, do not undo the profound harms already done, and are likely to reverse with the next administration as yet another “aggressive-left cycle” of the pendulum swings spanning multiple administrations.
And the Grande Showman of the current “aggressive-right cycle” swing is Trump.
But 3 years is not nearly long enough to make real substantive change to the fabric of the nation, including manufacturing, education and STEM, and sickcare (aka “healthcare”). It’s all Grande Theatre, while the semi-veiled tectonics continue.
Just wait until we are hit with a Round 2 plandemic, but with Replicons – that may turn out to be the moment the frogs in the pot realize the water is starting to simmer, too late.

The America Party existence is a great way to pressure the Republicans to support their actual voters and not their big donors. How many Treepers are tired of voting for so-called Republicans who talk big, then get into office and betray them? I’m looking at you Mike Johnson, Adam Kinsinger, Lindsey Graham, John Cornyn, etc. You know who you are. Trump says third parties never succeed. I guess he forgot that the Republican Party was once a third party.

I believe Elon was “impressed with Trump when he got shot and Trump got up and said “fight, fight, fight”. I can hear Elon saying “that is BADASS”.
Elon saw Kamala on one hand and Trump on the other hand, and said, “I just can’t support Kamala for 4 years of insanity”.
Elon’s wise move was to throw his support to Trump for Elon’s self interest.
Now, Elon has “buyer’s remorse” , and sees Trump hold positions that are not good for Elon. Elon is conflicted and frustrated.
Elon is acting “emotionally” and like a person having a temper-tantrum, but in public on world stage.
Trump is not going to confide in Elon again, Elon is too childish to deal with.
The Tesla board is probably contemplating retiring Musk. He’s wayyy off the reservation.

I love the way that Pres. Trump makes it clear that he won’t give into Musk’s pressure. He wisely is keeping Musk at arm’s length from him, by saying things like “off the rails” and “TRAIN WRECK”.
Musk has done some very good things for Pres. Trump. For example, he interviewed Mr. Trump online before the election, and he later endorsed him, which I think helped Mr. Trump win.
Also Musk came up with the idea of the DOGE team, and he created and organized it. This team has found ways in which US government money was being funneled to liberal organizations.
I think Pres. Trump should continue to listen to Musk’s ideas. And he should continue to offer his friendship to Musk, and to little X. But he should continue to calmly make it clear that Musk can’t pressure him into doing anything.

Elon believed his shiny/quirky/techie grift would afford further largess from our public treasury.
He’d only needed to have appeared constructive/sober/unstoned/unmedicated/hopeful for a few months but failed miserably.

We are here to FIND our Center, which is DEEP INSIDE us. It is the spark of LIGHT that GOD placed in all of us. Many of us need good “teachers/mentors” … that are following their Center, and help others to find their Center inside of themselves.
People that look for their Center inside someone else, will not work. It will work a little bit, … maybe give better direction than what the person was formally doing, so it can be a step in the right direction.
To me, Trump’s Center is on the Spirit of America, what the FOUNDING fathers of this country were connected with. So Trump really is trying to ask inspiration from America’s GOD (which is Jesus Christ) … America might be the first country to pick Jesus Christ as the Spirit of a Country. That is just my belief, and others can have other ways of looking at it.
Elon is south African … and America is World Power that placed Jesus as HEAD BEING. Israel has Jehovah as it’s Head Being. Other countries have their Head Being as some other “power” Higher Angel.
Elon just has to find tools, that will get him Connected with his Center. Elon is connected with “wise beings” that love working with Elon. Elon loves to “play” and these “wise beings” also love to play and they work together to have fun doing stuff and working on stuff. Some people with strange mannerisms … are mostly “here” but they also still live in other dimensions too, … it is like this with “creative types” … who are inspired by “wise beings” that love to play with others that love to play.
Elon, … find your Center and that it will stabilize you. I know what it was like when I didn’t have a CENTER, … and it sucked.

Does anyone here recall the No Labels party that tried to get started about 8-10 years ago. The leaders claimed they would effectively govern America without party lines. It went nowhere. I believe Elon’s America Party is a rebranding of that loser effort.

Having a child with Aspergers , I know that we live with a sweet adorable volcano. She focuses on an object and that is that until a new object appears. Luckily she isn’t homicidal when the object of her affection goes bye bye before the focus changes and I have heard of that.

Though President Trump had a platform set by his dad, President Trump is essentially self-made, eclipsing his dad many times over and is as tough as they come. His ability to “roll with punches” is remarkable.
My point, Elon’s not used to hearing no and is revealing his true self, essentially childish, while putting his self-interest, or someone’s self-interest in front of the USA.
Like stopping an Aircraft Carrier running full steam ahead, you don’t just kill the engines, the craft will list and eventually go adrift. You must reverse engines and gradually slow it down; that’s the Big Beautiful Bill.
