A painful update from Kerr County officials in Texas. The death toll has risen to 27, with 18 adults and 9 children killed. UPDATE: 32 killed. 18 adults and 14 children.
The region was beset by death and disaster on Friday after months’ worth of heavy rain fell in a matter of hours, leaving search teams to conduct boat and helicopter rescues in the fast-moving water that overtook riverfront communities and children’s summer camps.
The US National Weather Service declared a flash flood emergency for parts of Kerr county, located in south-central Texas Hill Country, following the heavy downpours. Officials in Kerrville, Texas deliver an update press conference.
UPDATE 3:00pm CT – Officials in Texas called the severe flooding a “mass casualty event” and said between 23 and 25 people were still missing from a summer camp. Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem and other authorities provided an update.
.
10:00am CT
A Kerrville city official said during this morning’s press conference that there will be two more briefings today, to update the public about the flood and rescue efforts. The next press briefing will be at 2pm Central time and the following will be at 6pm Central time.
Authorities say more than 1,000 rescuers are on the ground in Texas, searching for missing people as rains continue to fall outside of San Antonio, the Associated Press reports. Flash flood warnings remain in effect.
Twenty-seven girls from Camp Mystic remain missing, officials say, as authorities have rescued more than 850 people during operations so far.
The destructive fast-moving waters along the Guadalupe River rose 26 feet in just 45 minutes before dawn Friday, washing away homes and vehicles. The danger is not over as torrential rains continue pounding communities outside San Antonio and flash flood warnings and watches remain in effect for parts of central Texas.

We damn well know that with President Trump leading the USA, that FEMA & the FedGovt resources will be available a helluva lot sooner than what was made available to those harmed in the NC flooding & the CA/LA fires.
We can be grateful that President Trump will lead the recovery & rebuild mission for these poor people.
May God help those who have perished, are still missing and all their families.
WNC is still asking for basic supplies like food and water. People are in need of rebuilding supplies and man power. Where is the Trump help for them? Just asking.
I dont know if its the Guadalupe River but now Austin is in danger of a Dam breaking
Yes, Lake LBJ. If the dam breaks, we’ll be in some trouble here.
I assume because you said “we’ll”, that you were possibly in the thick of things… Please be careful, take care of yourself and family. You and all of Texas is in our prayers.
Lake Travis has only risen 15 feet during this whole flood. It still has 30 feet to go before it’s even full.
There are no floodgates open at Mansfield Dam and LCRA doesn’t think any will have to be opened.
Lake LBJ Floodgate Operations and Forecasts Last Update: Jul 5 2025 10:36AM
Inflows: Inflows to Lake LBJ from the Llano River are currently elevated from storms over the last couple days.
Gate Operations: Two floodgates are open at Wirtz Dam to release storm runoff flowing into Lake LBJ. Flows will be fast and water levels will be higher than usual downstream of the dam.
Lake level forecast: While floodwater is passed through the lake, the lake level may vary from the normal operating range.Max Reading: 826.11 Jul 4 2025 9:15PM

Could flood gates have been opened earlier downstream of this tragedy to reduce the flood event?
Prayers up for our dear Treeper, Betsy Jones. May she be safe from harm. Amen.
Amen. Grab the kitties and go to higher ground, girl. Prayers up for Betsy. 🙏
Colorado River.
I wonder if HAARP, DARPA, or any other disaster making weapons did this??
Gemma: Nature did it.
Hardly!

is billrla a bot?
I don’t think so. I think he lives in CA and is retired from the pharmaceutical industry.
A single volcano on the floor of the Pacific Ocean, in 2022 near Tonga, increased the amount of water vapor in the entire global atmosphere by 10%.
it’s impossible for me to not at least consider that.
I agree!
See my Reply to Gemma.
Yes.
We must keep an eye on these fellows with a company called Rainmaker. They have permits from the FAA to fly drones into clouds and disperse some concoction that causes rain…… they claim they can target a certain area……. but who knows and further who is watching and studying their work?
Unless I totally misunderstood the Law that the State Legislature passed about three years ago, it is supposed to be against State Law for the Feds to screw with the weather in Texas.
How can a STATE police laws like these?
Florida also has a law.
I still see chemtrails at least 5 days a week.
LOL…we have a similar law in Tennessee. I attended a meeting of Tennessee Stands (local political group) shortly after my home was DESTROYED by Helene…the FIRST thing they asked me was if I had seen any chemtrails in the sky over Unicoi County before Helene struck. I had been seeing chemtrails over the county for several YEARS. After Helene, spraying continued…when TS approached legislators about these clear violations of the ‘law’, we were told ‘there is no way to enforce it’.
Dane Wigington of GeoEngineeringWatch.org WARNED on one of his recent podcasts / blogs that the LAWS are going to be used to put citizens to sleep (thinking the LAW took care of the problem).

It’s very interesting to read the history of major floods in Texas and look at all those photographs. The predominant differences between the old days and now are our communications capabilities and weather predicting, radar, etc.
As far as clean up and rebuilding, it is humbling to see those old photos of mules pulling wagons and men with ropes and shovels on horseback with the women standing by their sides.
Bandera County resident here;
The City of Bandera is about 25 miles South of Kerrville.
You are Not far from the truth.
This Is Not our rainy season.
We get most of our rain in the Fall and Spring. I Know!, because I have raised a garden for the last four years and starting in early June I have to irrigate until the end of August or early September. For the last three weeks I have been wondering about the Government screwing with our weather because it there was been either rain or drizzle with just a few sunny hot dry days.
Local resident and dirt contractor here in SA. This has been an unusual year. We track rain days in our business since we have to meet completion dates or face liquidated damages. (Don’t you wish everybody who was late on a project was fined thousands per day)
Anyways, wetter than usual and cooler than usual going back thru 15 years of data. This area was listed as severe draught last year. Maybe steps are being taken to reverse that with severe consequences.
I remember summer in Austin 1982, same type of storm, sat on shoal creek up by W Anderson Lane. Storm just sat in same spot for 6 hours and dumped. So much & frequent lightning I could read a paper under apartment eaves. Lamar flooded, flashed down to 5th street – by original Whole Foods & flushed VW dealership car inventory into Town Lake. Looks like Mason/Hunt storm was much larger, and when traveled down Guadalupe watershed, doubled & tripled water volume in one channel.
I also remember when Angleton Tx, southwest of Houston on flat prairie around 1975, got 20” of rain one night, nowhere for water to flow, flooded about 10’ for several days before draining tonBrazos.
Don’t think ‘these ‘floods are a new manmade manipulated development. Read Centennial by Michener about the cotton fields in the rich soil for a decade along the Perdernales and Johnson City about 100 years ago, and the floods that washed the cultivated former prairie sod into the rivers, and left current hill country limestone rock that you see now, along with the invasive European juniper/cedar trees…
Add parents & granparents talked about the 1950s Texas drought – 7 years or so, sparked the building of all those Texas water reservoirs. Have only added 1 or 2 in last 50 years, despite population massive growth,.Btw, LBJ got Federal funding for Mansfield dam approved AFTER Brown Brothers had already started construction….they funded his campaigns ever after that.
Tropical Storm Amelia. 1978. Another huge storm.
Allison and Harvey.
Harvey zigzagged along the coast in a manner so unusual that the local Texas weatherman said “I’ve never seen anything like that before.”
I lived in Texas at the time and I was astounded to hear a weatherman say something like that.
Apparently that zigzagging back to the Gulf water GREATLY STRENGTHENED Harvey.
GeoEngineeringWatch.org talked about it at the time on the podcast / blogs he does, if I recall correctly.

Rainmaker Technologies, on this tweet from Flynn lists itself as having a Wilmington DEL HQ. Their website rainmaker.com is not very revealing.

I know in my heart this goes on. During the 8/04 Hurricane Charley, it was stopped at the mouth of the Peace River, seven miles south of us, just spinning and spinning. It was a Cat. 1 and was expected to move on north to Tampa where it would have wreaked havoc because it would be dead on and Tampa was below ground. Eventually the eye wall fell and the hurricane made a right turn and went up the Peace River, thereby saving Tampa. I had read someone had put out a book on hurricanes, updated it to include Charley and reported there was some kind of foam found on some area beaches they believe came from the hurricane, planted by someone. Flame on, but I won’t be easily convinced otherwise.
GeoEngineeringWatch.org has a lot of data to support your hunches.
Look up on the site: PATENTS.
Also, the site’s Founder wrote about several recent Hurricanes being WEAPONIZED: including Harvey, Ian, Helene, and Milton.
This week’s podcast talks about this flooding.
The podcast is linked from the dated links on the far right side of the Home Page.
I remember we lived on Anna Maria Island and prediction was direct hit would destroy most of Island. Our house was across from bay and 4 blocks from the Gulf. We evacuated to a friend’s house in port Charlotte. He ended up staying with us afterwords as he had no electric for 2 weeks .and AMI had no damage.
The foam has been seen on beaches many times. Nothing nefarious there.
Pray and help others.
Yes- many plants produce foaming compounds called saponins, that froth up in agitated (or still) water. Soybeans, for one.
Well they were operating 4 hrs west of Kerrville. Winds would have taken the storm that way. I don’t think the technology is that good to do what happened.
When it rains 18 inches over night, it makes you wonder if it was mother nature or weather modification. Wasn’t it about a week ago that Tropical Storm Barry hit Mexico? And the weathermen said that “remnant moisture from Tropical Storm Barry” is what caused the storms in Texas. Wait a minute! Other experts said, “Barry will not impact the U.S.” It seems that the truth is missing.
“Blink and you missed it: Tropical Storm Barry formed in the southwestern Gulf of Mexico’s Bay of Campeche at 11 a.m. EDT Sunday, June 29, but had already dissipated by early Monday morning. Barry peaked with top sustained winds of 45 mph on Sunday afternoon, then weakened to a tropical depression with 35 mph winds on Sunday evening before making landfall just south of Tampico, Mexico, around 9 p.m. EDT Sunday. Barry was a tropical storm for only about 12 hours. Barry’s main impact was from heavy rains of three to six inches, which likely caused minor flooding near Tampico.”
Residual energy from Barry may indeed have increased in intensity over the Hill Country.
The storm was (still is) cyclonic like a tropical storm.
Stalled over the Hill Country area. Created slugs of intense short duration rainfall. Resulted in huge peaks in runoff.
My exact thoughts as well!
This breaks my heart.
Lord hear our prayers.
A number of folks in my Houston prayer group have friends and family friends affected.
Apparently the girls camp was a lovely spot–99 years old Christian camp.
WeatherModification is a great possibility..
Peoria Jones and I are on the same page here in IL…we see the sky decorated on a scheduled basis. And rain often follows…a day or two later…
https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2025/07/rep-marjorie-taylor-greene-introduces-bill-ban-weather/
I see it here in TN. Almost daily.
…but it’s ‘against the law’…right?
Yes, but as with every law, it is only as strong as its enforcement.
A old friend of mine always talked about Russian weather machines. I laughed hysterically and ridiculed my buddy. I finally did an internet search a few years ago. I have since apologized and told my buddy he was on the right track.
Weather modification is a reality. Our government was/is successful at weather shenanigans.
“1957 Advisory Committee on Weather Control found…that cloud seeding…in mountainous areas of western United States of storms occurring during the cooler and moist winter and spring months produced an average increase in precipitation of 10 to 15 percent”
10 to 15 percent!!! That’s a potential epic calamity.
That is just one quote from page 11. The below document is 158 pages.
https://nsf-gov-resources.nsf.gov/nsb/publications/1965/nsb1265.pdf
The State of Texas has been seeding clouds for over many years.

Yep. I remember when they were doing that over drought-stricken farmland way, way back!
Absolutely!
See my Reply to Gemma earlier.
There has been so much rain and storms and tornadoes this spring and summer, one has to believe. I was reading just recently that the Branson area has had 60% of its total yearly rainfall.
My first thought reading about the tragedy was weather mod. This is something.

Prayers for those who lost their lives. For their families. For those who suffered financial loses.
One can predict that the Hard Left, AKA voting Democrats, will response to this by saying serves you right as Climate Change is real. As one of Odumbo’s sidekicks famously said about never let a crisis pass without taking advantage of it. My comeback to the morons pushing climate change is simple. You want rational Americans to buy your BS that massive storms cannot be predicted and populations saved but you are going calm the planet.
I do find that we can put a man on the moon, create a stealth bomber, but we cannot predict local weather conditions until they happen. One is certainly better off by looking out the window rather than depending on the government weather service or Bob and Betsy at channel xtre 43.
put a man on the moon
some say that never happened
personally, im agnostic on that issue, but there’s lots of compelling evidence of it being a hoax
First time to comment: My dear friend drowned in her home in Casa Bonita in Hunt, Texas and was found a couple of miles down river. We are devastated. She was the best Mother, Grandmother, and Friend.
.
Condolences on your loss.
Prayers for peace and comfort in these distraught times.
So very sorry for your loss. Praying for all touched by this disaster.
Please accept my most sincere condolences.
God be with you all
Within hours, military-grade rescue units were on the ground in Kerr County—not FEMA, but White Hat operatives under Special Command. These teams recovered over 850 survivors, including many girls feared dead. They also found classified evidence: military-grade tech debris, unmarked electronics, and radiation anomalies—all proof of manipulation.
On July 5, Trump classified the flood as a deliberate act of foreign environmental terrorism under Emergency Executive Order 2771, unlocking full military retaliation protocols. GITMO is being expanded again. Dozens of international assets have already had their U.S.-based holdings frozen.
The cabal will pay. Every last one. Iread this flood was deliberate weather geoengeering.

I was especially interested in the “radiation anomalies”, but unfortunately your source does not have a citation or source for that, it just says so
A funny thing happened on the way to the moon. Check it out..
I’m usually a fan of cryptic, Kliberty, but you’ve left me in the weeds on that one
Deliberate or not, the Wx pattern in Tx has been HIGHLY UNUSUAL for the past 8 weeks.
That is a fact.
No claims made by me other than this.
More than 8-weeks.
For the past 9-12 MONTHS , in North TX, the reported daily RELATIVE HUMIDITY has hovered around an average of 60% on “clear days” and much higher during times of rain and storms.
Before this period, Humidity on a clear day usually hovered around 35-45%.
At night, I swear you can actually smell what ever is being seeded into the atmosphere.
It is as if the water content of the atmosphere has been adjusted to the point where it only takes a minor temperature gradient and pressure change to cause significant levels of precipitation to occur.
Agreed. The rain does have a chemical smell to it. Many years ago I grew up near chemical plants & purposely moved away from them 3 decades ago for this reason.
Oder I smell is also present when there is NO RAIN, late at night and pre-dawn.
Solvay in Greenville TX supplies some of the CHEMICALS for the Chemtrail spraying from what I understood from a (believe it or not!) TV program about 8-10 years ago.
Solvay seems to have connections to German ownership (and to Holocaust gasses used in the Gas Chambers).

And there’s 2 well-researched short videos at GeoEngineeringWatch.org:

Also The Dimming documentary is excellent.
And, doing a SEARCH at the GeoEngineeringWatch.org Web site for PATENTS will yield a lot of info.
There’s a recent video I cannot locate at the moment (from Twitter X I believe) of PDJT’s 2nd Wife, Marla Maples, saying chemtrails interfere with her breathing the outdoor air here in FL.
Same in Hill Country. We’ve had 70-80% humidity during a DROUGHT for awhile. We’ve all been wondering how it could be humid here (never is) with no rain. Everyone here grows cactus as it is what will grow here due to the dryness. Everyone complaining that it feels like Houston and wondering what in the world is going on and cursing as the humidity with the heat is unbearable.
Our water table in the Edward’s Plateau was near dry. Our lakes were dry. Lots of wells have gone dry unless dug super deep. We needed the rain badly, but not THAT much and not at such a horrible cost. My suspicious cat is pouncing all over the place.
And about a month or so ago, the sky all of a sudden grew very dark, I was watching this, and a,sudden burst and emergency alerts to take cover or move to your basement! Haven’t heard an emergency alert in many many ,any years. I’m telling you, they are testing all of this.
that comment can apply on up into Oklahoma. very unusual rain levels.
Agree Landslide24. I live in central Texas and we had a very sudden weather event on May 22nd that wasn’t even in the forecast until the hour it happened. We’re still cleaning up all the downed trees from the wind damage.
There was a point of fact stated just 15 minutes ago on Dallas Fox 4, while waiting for the Kerville Press conference.
The weather phenomenon that caused the rains WAS NOT ON RADAR and just appeared out of no where.
It may be that what has been done to the atmosphere has created a condition that even the slightest changes in Temperature and Pressure actually trigger events in an “UNPREDICTABLE POP-UP” manner. If this the case it does not matter how many experts are watching the RADAR or Data.
I was watching the radar on RadarScope Pro that night as I was hoping some of the rain would make it to us. There were no alerts, statements, or watches, but there was a “discussion” ongoing with the weather service that could be seen on my app for a huge area in Texas. It was the same sort of discussion I have read/watched many times this year. They were discussing the possibilities and if an alert should be issued. The possibility went up to 30 or 40% (can’t remember which) at 1 am. I was thankful that I am on high ground after reading the discussion and went to sleep and woke up to the Kerrville disaster.
Also needed to add that there have been many of these discussions this year and nothing bad has happened. We did have one of those spinning rains up in North Texas, I think it was, but nothing like what hit Kerrville.
Medina County, south of Kerr, was notifying residents of a Possible Flash Flood Warning 12 hours in advance.
The State warned of possible Flash Flooding 2 days ahead of tIme for WEST AND Central Texas. But, some of those speaking at the Press Conference last evening said they did not see any weather indications ahead of time.
The Kerrville city manager said he was out jogging along the river in that area at 3:30 AM!, and the river looked fine.
The reports were that the areas WEST OF KERRVILLE got hit HARD with rain. A record-breaking 14 inches in the region around San Angelo on July 4! Then, today, July 5, San Angelo (and I MEANT San Angelo for those “correcting” that to San Antonio for Texans on another site…) woke up to flooded communities requiring rescues!
Of course, rivers flow toward the ocean, so whatever runs off takes a while, but sooner or later, affects every area in its path as it travels toward the Gulf!
I suspect the Kerrville-Hunt-Comfort area basically got hit with a wall of fast-moving water from every ravine and river West and North of them!
Thanks!
You answered a lot of questions
I was wondering about.
I live in AZ, and during Monsoon season
the flash flood warnings/alerts are out at
least once a week.🥴
I am wondering if debris jams could
have contributed to the flooding in
some areas? 🤔
Thanks, Breezy!
I am very glad that I was able to clear some things up for you! I have been trying my best to inform people, some of whom live in other countries.
I’m not sure about the debris jams you mentioned. I haven’t seen that referred to. I’m thinking the high water flows might have just cleared them out.
Once, I saw the flooded Guadalupe 1/2 a mile wide raging inside a city limits. Actually, there was a port-a-potty just sitting vertically atop it heading somewhere fast!. And don’t get me talking about the poor dead cow 2 stories up in an oak tree!
I can tell you that there are TWO branches of the Guadalupe River. Well, they join together just before the area that was decimated. (Picture a huge Y, if you will.)
I know you have heard that the river was 26 feet high, but factor in the following:
Saturday night one of the professionals at the Press Conference said that BOTH OF THE BRANCHES OF THE GUADALUPE WERE 26 FEET HIGH, BUT THEN, THEY JOINED TOGETHER!!! (Remember the Y.)
Think of the sheer volume of water that hit those places!
The loss was so sad, but it is stunning that anyone nearby survived!
Further, the loss of life was SO MUCH LESS THAN IT WOULD HAVE BEEN THIS COMING WEEK! That’s because many of the approximately 40 campgrounds were between sessions. Their new sessions began Monday, July 7!
You’ll never believe this… or maybe you will!
Another site referred to Kerrville and Hunt as SUBURBS OF SAN ANTONIO!!!!!!
Kerrville is 65 MILES away from San Antonio!!! Depending on the road you take, Hunt is 80-89 MILES from San Antonio!!!
I probably don’t need to tell you that the Texans on there were not one bit happy!
When they bungle something that basic, how could anyone believe anything they say in the future!?!
And, yes, this Treeper got a tad bit touchy up above re: San Angelo and San Antonio! The same site confused the two and were correcting the Texans on there who got it right!
THEY ARE 211 MILES APART!!!
San Angelo region got 14 inches of rain July 4, Friday. Then, July 5, Saturday, San Angelo awoke to flooding requiring rescues!
We carefully and frequently checked the national weather service off and on all that evening and night! Most I can remember was 20%-30% chance of showers and later, possibly thunderstorms in our area that night.
Then, BOOM, it changed.
Yesterday, July 4, the day of the floods, I went to the Kerrville national weather service page and looked at their 3-day weather history. You would never have guessed what was going to happen, other than the possibility of flash floods, which has become nearly synonymous with any appreciable rainfall these days. Just like the Tornado WATCHES in the Panhandle- South Plains. Natives there say they thought that type of little tornado on their tv screens was just a decoration. NOT Tornado WARNINGS, though! Different little tornado, and THOSE they take real seriously!!
Yes! See above…….me too Very odd stuff going on.
I have been telling people here in Pittsburgh something is up with this weather, they all think I’m a conspiracy theorist. But I’m telling you it very odd. I am up early in the morning, just because, and I see small lights in the darkest of dark night sky, and they ain’t planes!
where are you seeing this?
Here’s Grok:
”There is no official record or credible reference to an “Emergency Executive Order 2771” issued by President Donald Trump or any other U.S. president. Comprehensive trackers and databases of executive orders—including those for 2025—do not list an executive order by this number or with the description you provided.
Executive orders are sequentially numbered, published in the Federal Register, and documented by reputable legal and governmental sources. None of these sources mention an EO 2771 or any order matching the description of classifying a flood as a deliberate act of foreign environmental terrorism or unlocking military retaliation protocols.
Any claims regarding “Emergency Executive Order 2771” appear to be unsubstantiated and not based on any verified government action or document.”
….and hopinnow sent the information half way around the world before GROK could even get its pants on….ain’t the internet wonderful…
Astute
Large military presence in the nearby area, both Army & Air Force.
There is no EO 2771 on the White House website or any mention on Trumps Truth social.

I think it is appropriate here.

Our home is in Fredericksburg and up Hwy 16 only 10 miles to Kerrville. We were awakened several times during the night with torrential rains on our metal roof that was deafening. I texted my kids who were coming here for late that night for The 4th, who were pulling RV’s. I asked them to check with thr National Weather service about roads & bridges. We were certain their parade plans would be spoiled in the morning. As dawn approached, my husband, whose family are ranchers here for 150 years, he called them and said to take care crossing the creeks & riverbeds.. We’ve seen these flash floods before, losing cattle, horses, pets, buildings but thank God, never loved ones. Most of us are staying home today and not going into Kerrville to be spectators , but instead leaving the area to search & rescue. Our congressman Chip Roy is in town, and we are confidentis everything humanly possible that can be done to help, is being done. This is a very conservative part of Texas, communities of Faith abound, we are praying for the rescuers, and all those affected. Thankfully, the rain is holding off so far, today.
research indicates that an overnight boys camp nearby this same location in 1987 !! was flooded with 13 or 14 deaths I believe, I pray that I’m wrong on the number of deaths. the local gendarme was asked why the camp was not evacuated immediately upon the rains coming and he said that the people in charge didn’t either make the call or show up….he neglected to say he was “the people in charge” – he at the time had no answer for the reporter asking the obvious questions…perhaps building in an area not prone to this type of flooding might cross a few otherwise bewildered brains …. perhaps not alongside a river …. the beauty of the site now becomes unbearably sad and ugly….AGAIN
“the local gendarme was asked why the camp was not evacuated immediately upon the rains coming and he said that the people in charge didn’t either make the call or show up….he neglected to say he was “the people in charge”
It makes you wonder. Did the “people in charge” get the 1 am warning? Did they do anything? Was it too late when the 4:03 am warning came? I understand that a number of people were trying to get away and got washed away in their cars.
Reportedly the National Weather Service (NWS) issued flash flood warnings for Central Texas, including Kerr County, starting early on July 4, 2025. Specifically, a flash flood warning was issued for Kerr County around 1 a.m. A more urgent “particularly dangerous situation” flash flood emergency warning was sent at 4:03 a.m., followed by another for Kerrville at 5:34 a.m. These warnings were broadcast through the Wireless Emergency Alert system, which delivers alerts to cell phones in the affected areas.

For context, the USGS Waterwatch stream gauge at Kerrville for the Guadalupe River went from about 2 feet to about 34 feet in about 2 hours (5am to 7am). Flood stage is about 9 feet, so the peak was ~25 feet above flood stage. Volumetric flow went from about 300 cubic feet a second to….not sure, the graph blips out at the peak, but looks like it could have been near 200,000 cubic feet a second. An acre is 43,560 square feet, about 208 feet square. At 200k CFS, that would inundate an acre of land 4 feet 7 inches deep….EVERY SECOND.
My goodness. The raw power of this storm is difficult to comprehend.

OMG – Thank God these boys made it out safely.
Prayers for all of the families who are waiting…………………..
A CBS Austin meteorologist decided to post this last night while the families were still pulling bodies out of the river and searching for the 23 missing girls. And then he doubled down in the comments.
He’s basically victim shaming and blaming.
Keep in mind the flooding struck at 1:30 a.m.
Avery Tomasco, CBS Austin: All I have to say is this: The National Weather Service issued a flood watch for Kerr County more than 12 hours ahead of the catastrophic flood. A flash flood warning was issued for Hunt and Ingram 3 HOURS before the Guadalupe started to climb. They did their job and they did it well.
Virginia Bloomsbury replied: Every time it rains in the Hill Country, there are flood watches issued, but camps don’t wash away every time.
As we watched the press conference held by Texas officials and agency heads last evening, one of the professionals was asked a question as to why they had not evacuated these camps once they knew that flooding was going to be a problem. He responded that extremely careful planning goes into any sort of evacuation order because the last thing you want to do is put hundreds, and even thousands, of people into vehicles on roadways – many with low water crossings – where they can wash away, because, historically, more people die in floods in vehicles. These summer camp roads are NOT major highways, and JUST Camp Mystic had 750 girls there! There are approximately 20 encampments of some type along that area of the Guadalupe between Hunt, Comfort, and Kerrville.
Those camps should have flood-emergency drills (like lifeboat drills) where they grab their bedding and some tarps (provided with the cabins) and hightail it to higher ground and string up temporary bivouac tarp shelters to huddle under until danger passes.
They all don’t need to be “evacuated” on roadways, they mainly need to get up and out of the way of the floodwater in a flash-flood situation
Ounce of prevention for future
And that official was exactly correct.
You’re a hydraulics guy! Here’s a story for you!
A friend went tubing on the Guadalupe once. She went over an area with a drop off, and she got caught in the hydraulics. Said she went around and around vertically for ages, (top to bottom, top to bottom) and didn’t think she’d make it out. She did, but described just one of the reasons people die every year on the Guadalupe. Can you imagine the hydraulics in this monster flood?
Michael You is warning that another huge flood is forming

WARNING — TEXAS
Heavy Rains falling again

Just got this from CENTURIONS: Another flood disaster currently unfolding near Marble falls and Austin area.
To be clear, this is a SECOND flood unfolding.

///BREAK///
Something doesn’t feel right. Texas could be under attack. As in the previous catastrophe in North Carolina, and the inferno in Hawaii.
Notice this program across Europe to remove water infrastructure. This will be used to cleanse land of humans. And seize it.

Again, prayers for Betsy!
If people could actually control the weather – trust – Mar-a-Lago would have been gone a long time ago.
Local TV in Dallas (I have Fox 4 on the screen) are announcing a new press conference (2:50 PM Central) from Kerville.
List of facts put out by a person in the Dallas Fox 4 studio, while waiting for the press conference:
The river rose 26 FEET in 1 hour.
A “POWERFUL WALL OF WATER” preceded the flood that covered the area.
The weather phenomenon that caused the tragedy and flash flood “WAS NOT ON THE RADAR”, before the storm started.
The language “search and rescue” are still be used for now, describing the search efforts.
The waters have already receded.
The TX National Guard had assets in the area within “an hour” of the emergency becoming known.
NOTE: What ever was being done to influence the atmosphere over TX also was reinforced by a Hurricane that hit Mexico and the follow on weather moved NORTH to the Southwestern US. It has been very odd that storms in the Caribbean and off the West Coast of Mexico ARE NOT being covered in the news, as they usually are.
I have been trying to report on the facts available, but there’s been a lot of discussion on tampering with the weather on this post. I really didn’t intend to join in that, but after reading the last few comments, I couldn’t NOT comment.
Years, but not decades ago, I seem to recall, reading an article stating that Bill Gates had been investing heavily in weather modification.
Since Mr. Gates feels there are far, far, far, too many people living on the planet, this doesn’t bode well if the article was true. It requires far greater research and investigation by President Trump‘s team to determine if something is going on….
Memory jolt tonight. It might have been suppressing sunlight that Gates was investing in.
Neither option is good!
Enormous tragedy. Already reading that the bad forecast is the reault of President Trump’s cuts to NOAA.
So far the local media, who are anything but supportive of President Trump, have not spewed this talking point. As I pointed out above … the story is a “FLASH” Weather Phenomenon that was not in the RADAR nor predicted by Data.
Granted the attention and memory span of many TV viewer is 1-commercial deep …. it will be interesting if these initial assessments are re-spun on order from NETWORK HQ.
Which was not done
Yesterday, Governor Abbott said President Trump had already offered whatever was needed! I am thankful for our wonderful President.
I was also very proud watching the large, professional panel of Texas officials and agencies during a press conference yesterday evening!
Texas is not out of danger, so please continue your prayers for all involved – and thank you for those already offered!
As you know, and we have all become more aware, going through something like this is more than hard enough, but going through it with unqualified, incompetent leadership would be even worse!
Considering the deaths and devastation of this situation, it’s difficult to imagine how much worse it could have been if all State Emergency Response Resources had not been activated on July 2! And, at that time, a Flash Flood Warning was issued for a large portion of Central and West Texas, with Texans warned to “proactively prepare for potential hazards.”
“Texans are encouraged to follow instructions from local officials, make an emergency plan, and make an emergency supply kit.” Also, to “check road and flood safety information. They warned “Texans to monitor the local forecasts, and not drive or walk in flooded areas.”
But even with all these warnings, all these emergency preparations, all these professionals on duty, there is just NO WAY TO ABSOLUTELY GUARANTEE SAFETY! There never is.
That is why a different kind of preparation is so vital – preparing for eternity.
She should be careful in that water. Everything in the ground comes up when it floods in Tx. Tx has a lot of nasty critters in and around the ground.
Uh huh…
not to mention what can happen when electrical lines are submerged.
Dumb question, but I’ll ask: how are these people wading in water in the supermarket aisles not electrocuted? The refrigerated sections are still receiving power from what I could see.
… that’s a good question. Also, some have electrical outlets on the walls.
However, I was thinking about sharp debris or sharp fangs as in a water moccasin or cotton mouth.
really dumb to be wading thru that water and buy from a submerged damaged store!
News conference on C Span now.
Prayers for those who are in harm’s way today in Texas 🙏🏻 and prayers for those who have lost loved ones and homes 🙏🏻❤️

Georgetown! My sister lives there!
Oh, my. Used to have some family there.
mike seidel is at it again (FWC).
he’s in a full hurricane suit with visor and boots at Myrtle Beach, SC.
meanwhile, families in bathing suits are skipping merrily along the water’s edge enjoying the breeze.
next up, mike will be reporting on T.S. Chantel flooding from a pothole filled with water….
(my anger has increased a thousand fold because of this situation in Texas –
where exactly are these people when they’re actually needed??)
I have lived in this part of Texas for 80 years. While not common, this has happened before as some have mentioned. The Guadalupe River basin lends itself to this type of flooding when these weather systems blow up and stay over one area for hours without moving.
I am not a meteorologist but this weather event is not manmade. It is the result of several weather systems coming together over the area. One was remnants of a Hurricane on the Pacific coast of Mexico and another system in the Gulf of Mexico that went into northern Mexico near South Texas.
These 2 systems have been producing rain over south and west Texas for several days.
Yesterday the 2 systems joined over Kerr County and the head waters of the Guadalupe and sat there for 5 or 6 hours producing rain fall rates of 3 or 4 inch’s per hour that fell in narrow hilly canyons.
Lord, please bring peace to those affected by this disaster.
thank you for your informed and rational description, Showboat
Thank you! We live about an hour away from there.
We’ve been here for about 15 years. People don’t understand that this is one of the worst areas in the country for potential flooding, and we can get a lot of rainfall from time to time.
No surprise that the weather manipulation people aka the Cloudy with a Chance of MEATBALLS have come out of the woodwork here.
Thank you for this explanation. We in other parts of the country tend to mentally superimpose descriptions on our own topography and weather, easily leading us to wrong conclusions, so it helps to hear from someone in the situation.
People do have reason to be extremely suspicious. Having seen our government attack its citizens in many ways recently, it is quite reasonable to consider the possibility that any or all government statements are lies.
We don’t call it Flash Flood Alley for nothing.
Excellent analysis Showboat Man.

For public accountability:
Can you confirm, with full transparency, whether any cloud seeding or atmospheric modification operations, by your company or affiliates, were conducted in or around Hunt, Texas or the Upper Guadalupe River basin on July 3 or July 4, 2025?
If so, Please include:
Time and location of any seeding activities;
Type of materials used (e.g., silver iodide, dry ice, etc.);
Whether any contracts, public or private, were active in Kerr County or adjacent counties during this period.
Given the deadly consequences of the July 4 flooding and ongoing speculation about the potential role of weather modification, the public is owed full transparency and factual clarity.
Thank you for your prompt and transparent response.

Sundance,
I loved that article and video that you posted about Hurricane Ian hitting Florida (where you live). “Sometimes the knights in shining armor appear as crews’ wearing jeans, overalls and steel toed boots. It doesn’t take an emergency beacon to activate them, just a need… and they come. Purposefully, without condition, ready to move, activate and respond. They throw the gear bags, kiss the ladies & babies, and head out. The rest is figured out upon arrival… What has been accomplished in two weeks of 24/7 reconstruction is nothing short of remarkable. Then again, this is the Christian America we know well. The truckers, pullers, spreaders, drivers, welders, machinists, heavy equipment operators, tugboat operators, barge haulers, diggers, pumpers, tradesmen, all of them, just people. Damn good people at that. People who represent what makes our nation unique…. Because when it matters most, when it really counts, when it’s really needed, there’s a whole bunch of people all around this world of ours that are mighty happy when swagger walks in to solve their problems. Yeah, let us recommit to “Make America unapologetically Great Again”. Swagger on, MAGA. NO QUIT!” And the drone video with the Lucy Thomas singing Hallelujah was haunting.
https://theconservativetreehouse.com/blog/2022/10/20/a-tribute-to-git-r-done/
It was super inspiring to think that this is the real America and it still exists. We will git-r-done here in Texas too.
And sometimes we don’t understand why we lose our loved ones to these kinds of events. I really like what Eckhart Tolle said in “The Power of Now”: “So whenever any kind of disaster strikes, or something goes seriously “wrong” — illness, disability, loss of home or fortune or of a socially defined identity, breakup of a close relationship, death or suffering of a loved one, or your own impending death — know that there is another side to it, that you are just one step away from something incredible: a complete alchemical transmutation of the base metal of pain and suffering into gold. That one step is called surrender. I do not mean to say that you will become happy in such a situation. You will not. But fear and pain will become transmuted into an inner peace and serenity that come from a very deep place — from the Unmanifested itself. It is “the peace of God, which passes all understanding….”
“Please God, bring me the peace that passes all understanding”. My mantra when I am stressed/anxiety/worry. It helps so much.
I haven’t thought about Eckhart in ages, I have that book from back in the day.
Some excellent updated study Bibles produced since, ” back in the day ” .
Newer Bibles have word derivations, from Greek/Latin, closer to what they should be. AKA, they are prayerfully trying to get it right.
Personally, as an AWANA volunteer with children, parents please caretake from your heart and the best your brain has, choosing the right Bible for your child. Standard King James is wildly a bit much for the children coming thru now, our culture has made its ‘language’ nearly indecipherable for them. Yes, give them the King James if it’s on your heart, but please get them a 2nd Bible too.
BTW, what I witness in AWANA with the children getting their first phone, horrific. But it gets worse, when that first phone is taken away. My classes are 6th grade. The kids not getting a phone? Interested, involved, helpful to each other, laugh, ask questions, memorize their Bible passages and quote aloud to teacher/s, etc.
Not using, ‘horrific’, lightly.
Worse, been seeing articles about c &# hat g *% and children committing suicide…… Passed that info along to leader of our program.
Godspeed the losses in this Texas flood.
As of 3pm, 32 people are confirmed dead. Tonite, they will be using more helicopters with thermal imaging to help find any survivors, specifically Coast Guard Dolphin and Jayhawk helicopters added to those already searching.
Praying for the families… I am so concerned… 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I uses to think why are people stranded standing on top of their car in the middle of a washed out road. Why would you drive in that. Then I moved to Dallas and on the second day there, we had a horrible rain storm and you could jet ski down the street it was filled with so much water. Never seen rain like that until I was in a hurricane. It rains hard and fast there.
West Texas guy here with friends & family in harm’s way. It’s Bad this time, folks. Really bad.
We got plenty of rain here, but the Hill County got HAMMERED. My two son-in-laws are walking through the mud and debris of the Guadalupe River right now looking for survivors and bodies. They have friends who’s children are missing. It’s a disaster, and a heart-breaking one.
We’d appreciate your prayers for the families of the lost, and those doing search & rescue, both gov’t and civilian.

These summer camp roads are NOT major highways, and JUST Camp Mystic had 750 girls there! There are approximately 20 encampments of some type along that area of the Guadalupe between Hunt, Comfort, and Kerrville.
In the devastating 1987 flood near Comfort, buses of summer campers were evacuating, and at least one bus was washed into the raging Guadalupe, with many deaths. I remember seeing an attempted helicopter rescue where one young girl, who had fought to survive to that time, was holding onto a rope lowered to her from the helicopter, when she just gave out, the rope fell out of her hands, and she washed away to her death.
Just a few weeks ago, once again late at night, at least 12 people in San Antonio died, most of them at roughly the same time, at the same point of the same highway after being washed away in their vehicles by a wall of water!
I knew one of these people, a lifelong resident of a nearby city who had been through two – 100 year floods within a four year period (!) in 1998 and 2002. He knew what he was doing around water and got killed anyway just driving home from work!
The Conservative Treehouse is a wonderful community of good people, but it does get troublemakers and trolls sometimes – trolls controlled by people with an agenda, not necessarily good! So, I feel compelled to post the following:
Please, people! You wouldn’t believe some of the unhelpful and unkind comments online! And, as Alinsky wrote in his guidebook, never let a crisis go to waste! So, in addition, some unhelpful politicians are rearing their heads and getting more time in front of the cameras!
Please continue praying for all involved. Take time to TRULY educate yourselves regarding this terrible event, AND DO NOT READ/POST stuff from the equivalent of THE DEMOCRATIC NATIONAL ENQUIRER MEETS THE FRESNO WASP IN BEIJING!
As our wonderful President Trump says, “Thank You!”
And lookout for the hit piece in the Texas Monthly magazine on the Christian camps in central Texas. Liberal Rag!
I am hoping and praying that some smart adult camp leader lead those girls to higher ground and that they are safe.
Dick Eastland (owner of Camp Mystic) was doing just that. Multiple vehicle trips to get the girls to higher ground.
His last trip saw him washed away. Conflicting reports as to whether he landed on an island and was rescued or if they perished.
Prayers that they were rescued.
Only time will tell us what happened.
Heart breaking. May our Heavenly Father protect those in harm’s way and may He guide and strengthen the emergency responders.
Heartbreaking, just heartbreaking thinking about every family who has lost a loved one due to normal childhood summer fun.
And now the evil contingent is trying to blame the whole situation on Kristi Noem!!! What it takes to politicize this terrible loss … no words.
FYI: I found that if you run the video of her speech at 1.25 speed she sounds much more competent.
I am sad for Kerrville TX.
I was sad when my hometown in TN experienced the same horrible flooding. It has been about five years ago and the scars are deep. I also learned that the same storm traveled through a Virginia valley before it stopped.
I wish someone could provide a timeline of horrible storms that sweep the entire town away in the past 10 years.
Every time it rains in the area, (San Antonio and hill country) a flood warning is issued.
With heavy rains, we see typical areas, with some flooding, high water. Not like this.
We just lost quite a few people here in San Antonio a couple of weeks ago with a freakish rain. Washed folks off the feeder road on
major highway. Just going home from work, a wall of water hit them. They were just laid to rest last week.
Now this.
Don’t blame the campers. This was not expected.
Also, usually the rivers rise with spring rains. Really late in the year to see this. This is more our fire season.
The weather has been very odd, as other Texans have said. (And yes, they’re spraying our skies with something. )
Betsy, if you need anything let me know.

Weather modification, Texas.
https://www.tdlr.texas.gov/weather/summary.htm
lolli, your description perhaps gave me a bit of useful insight–that this kind of weather/human event is actually similar to the hurricanes in Florida, tornadoes in Oklahoma, and blizzards in North Dakota in that, while they are predictable and actually forecasted to the best possible extent, the knowledge of their approach does not always protect even those who are knowledgeable, longtime residents.
Familiarity with “how it goes” doesn’t always confer safety on the individual.
Thank you for summarizing things as you did.
You’re welcome Sharon
Yes. “Outliers” is the best way I can describe these events.

I’m glad to see other Treepers questioning the weather modification/geoengineering/cloud seeding/rainmaking involvement.
During Helene I was watching Ryan Hall Y’all and there was a strange anomaly that all the weather guys saw on radar, but could not identify. Shortly thereafter the storm just sat on top of East Tennessee and North Carolina. They still haven’t found all the people who were buried in those catastrophic floods through and down the mountains.
I wish I had a better way to describe what I witnessed.
I fully believe that weather modification, not climate change, is responsible for the catastrophic weather we are having.
Maybe the people behind it have good intentions, maybe they don’t.
It is obvious that there are unintended consequences.
If we could rule them all out, then we can accept that Mother Nature is to blame.
And to think that Bill Gates thinks blocking the sun is a good idea. The sun, the moon, the stars, the entire universe was designed to work a certain way. When man interferes, he makes giant messes of things.
This is typically the biggest weekend of the summer for Texas river recreation and the Guadalupe is the biggest attraction. If the traffic up the west end is anything like San Marcos/New Braunsfel stretch further east there could a whole lot of people that were in tents and small campers washed several miles downstream. I have a bad feeling about that scenario.

I think I owe everyone here an apology, I was misled by something I saw last evening and consequently shared overly optimistic news which turns out not to have been true.
I’m sorry for that.
I’m asking this question seriously:
Why, in this day an age, when we can fire a missile from across the planet into someone’s window, why can we not do better at predicting weather?
Can we predict weather far better and yet they’ve chosen not to do this because it benefits them not do so?
Has the weather predicting business also fallen victim to the DEI thing? are they all dummies now?
Has the weather predicting business been weaponized like the FBI, and all the other three letter agencies- is this what it is?
Are we being lied to, misled, given wrong information on purpose?
Just why exactly can we do what we do- but yet not do better predicting the weather to warn and avoid these massive weather related disasters?
I’d like to know what is going on with all of this..
How can we be watching AI do what it does and yet we can’t predict a flood like this?
The whole thing makes no sense to me.
because the atmosphere is a turbulent fluid

IMHO, akin to a jihadi driving into a Christmas-related event, but only by a different agency and a different holiday. Both target Christians, it seems.
What a tragic sirutation and so heartbreaking for those who lost loved ones and especially all those beautiful little girls still missing. It’s so reassuring and refreshing to see how well the emergency management services have kicked in at both the state and federal level unlike how the Biden administration handled their emergency responses. Thank you Pres. Trump and all those who responded so quickly and so well. May God hold all those in pain and grief in his hands and give them all the love he has for them.
Amen to that Cjzak.
This is a travesty. No way that this many people should have died. If the water took 45 minutes to reach peak, people along the river should have been alerted and some effort should have been made to get them out. I’m sorry. We have spent far too much money on weather prediction, and wasted tons more on climate BS, to have this as a result. I am well aware of the nature of this type of flooding and there is no excuse for this.
Mr. Wallace,
It doesn’t take more than a few feet of water to sweep a person off their feet or float their camper down river. Many folks were caught unaware, in the middle of the night and had little or no response time.
That would have been within mere minutes along the river, well before the arrival of the peak.
As for the girls at Camp Mystic, the staff did amazing job making sure over 700 girls and staff were safe on higher ground.
The tragic loss of life is heart rending.
Middle of the night seems to be a theme w/some of these storms. People can be caught unaware during the day too, I guess, like the people a while back in the Middle East, was it Qatar, Abu Dhabi? I don’t remember, just remember seeing them coping w/the huge dump of rain on their heads and city.
Here nor there it is a very painful tragedy.
