Here is the game plan that the forces against Trump will be using for the foreseeable future.
They will attempt to get you to make the perfect the enemy of the good.
Be it the freedom clowns and spending, the immigration hawks with H1B visas, the peace doves with timing, the cultural warriors with total bans of DEI/CRT, the neocons with war fighting, or the swamp dwellers with draining the swamp.
All of them will attempt to get you to believe on whatever issue is the issue of the day that it doesn’t go far enough or do enough. They will try to make you think that some sub issue of that issue is more important and should be handled first, that since the issue hasn’t been handled yet it won’t be, that we can’t do more than one thing, that so and so is a plant to stop the draining of the swamp, or that because it wasn’t 100% Trump lied. On every single issue, one or more groups will attempt this strategy.
You can’t allow them that power over you. If Trump secures the border and deports 2 million, don’t allow them to reduce that good by them saying well he didn’t deport 2.5 million, so he failed or lied.
You can’t allow them to use the perfect to void out the good in the coming months.
They will try. They already have with the CR and the H1b visa debates. It works, that is why they use it. You have to keep it in the front of your head on everything about to occur that half a loaf or hopefully in most cases 7/8ths a loaf is better than no loaf.
Do not allow them to gaslight you into thinking the good is the enemy of the perfect.
In the real world, most things are never perfect, but if we try real hard, we can get plenty of good accomplished in the coming 4 years.

President Trump is transparent in his words and actions. He is consistent in what he says, what he does, and what he asks/demands of others. His promises are bold and he keeps them like no other president has. He is making massive, nearly overnight changesr, not only in the country, but in the world. It is amazing that he is able to accomplish so much when there are so many snakes in the grass. This term, he is weeding them out faster.
The purpose of President Trump is plainly visible and consistent: He is for the benefit first of the common PEOPLE of this country, then of the PEOPLE in the rest of the world. It is validating, even to our battered conservative skepticism.
The methods of his leadership are amazing. I still don’t get HOW he does it, or HOW he is able to get so much momentum going, but every day the momentum is growing. Everyone and every organization has their eyes opened every day — just by watching him. Even those who hate him, are biased against him, and want to see him gone — cannot ignore him. He lives rent free in their head, and they come around to seeing the universal principles by which he is operating. He hammers actions based on truth from one direction, then another, and they cannot mount an organized opposition against him.
He has chosen to use his intellect and every skill he has to do what is right. He has tremendous faith that he can make a difference in this world. He has a confidence and courage such that he doesn’t care what others think, yet a humility to know he has to do it with the help of like minded people. Those people are the “common” people, and he ridicules those who think they are not common.
He believes people are basically good. He believes that God is real. He believes that healthy people are happy people, and they need to be able to create wealth freely for their labor, and have the freedom to spend their money on what is good for them.
He believes the United States, with its Constitutional Republic, is the best environment in the world to enable and give opportunity for people to be happy and prosperous.
He believes that we can be a light for the world, but we must demand that the rest of the world respect us and our right to life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of happiness.
He believes the enemy of our country are the stupid, greedy American people who have been selfishly taking advantage of this country; who betrayed the trust and obedience of its people; and who diverted the people’s wealth for their own selfish gain, at the expense of the principles of this country. He’s not going to allow that anymore.
He has cultivated and focused the family of MAGA. Identifying those people whose goodness, industriousness, trust, and obedience have been taken advantage of and abused. He has opened our eyes to this abuse, and the rights of freedom and self determination that have been quietly stolen from us.
He has rekindled the healthy distrust of government and men with too much power held by our founders. He has recultivated the desire to reclaim our freedoms and rights, and is empowering us with a hope and pathway to reclaim our spiritual and economic freedom.

He is convincing those who are very wealthy (most of whom truly earned their money), that the best economic soil in which to build wealth is in a constitutional republic, which supports the ability of the common man to earn wealth in proportion to his efforts. The economic engine of the United States is the human spirit freed to enjoy the fruits of honest labor, and that engine has more natural and raw horsepower than any other governed economy.
The Trump Train seems to be remarkably aligned with universal principles of Truth, which reflect the will and design of our Creator, and are the best standard by which we should live. These same principles were what our country’s founders used to declare independence, and framed into the Constitution of this nation.
Our founders believed that a nation should preserve the right and freedom of an individual to seek, understand, and live by God’s principles. They believed that free individuals working together in humility would make a stronger nation than a government which dictates its will on the people. President Trump professes and seeks to lead and restore this nation back to these same principles.
These principles resonate deeply within all human beings, down to our DNA in every cell, in our spirits, and produce fruit that “miraculously” multiplies. Because we follow universal principles, we see the snowballing acceleration of momentum on day 161 of the 2nd term of this very stable genius in the history of the kingdoms of this world in the year of our Lord 2025.

I read through a lot of the comments on TGP, and it appears that people listened to the clips, which, out of context, are misleading.
Thiel is trying; he’s saying that the rise of globalism and anti-Christ-like situation would come about as the result of constant fear-mongering.
That said, his perspective seems to be somewhat confused. He seems to be distressed over the “lack of progress” or “stagnation” in technology and science, which he sees as occurring over the past few decades save for computer progress (e.g. diseases not cured, space exploration stymied, etc.)
BBBbut he never explains what the ultimate goal is that he thinks humanity should be striving for. (He throws in nonsense that appears to be typical of the narrow/deep education of emotionally retarded tech bros who view the world as like a big sci-fi computer game, e.g. immortality of the flesh, transhumanism, flying cars, make a new civilization on other planets, similar nonsense.)
“Progress” for its own sake is meaningless, and just doing stuff for its own sake just because it can be done also can be dangerous. First must come the question of progress toward WHAT.

Remember there are many who gain by these inflated rolls of medicaid/Medicare recipients:
The insurance companies get the money for the patient whether it is a real patient or not. Then they get to keep it, because there is not a patient receiving care. Or if there is a scam – other vendors/providers/DME/Hospital systems getting money for pretend “care” with no real cost.
The United states spends 4 Trillion + on health care ~ 20% of the US Gross National Product. We give that money (taxpayer money or out of our paycheck) first to Insurance companies: Medicare, Medicaid, Veterans benefits, private commercial insurance.
We have given the authority for how to spend it, what medical care to approve, who gets to be paid for services, and the data for all the money and care – to the same insurance companies. These insurance companies have more power/data/decision making authority than doctors/hospitals/patients on our health care.
And we expect this system to work.
The entire US Health Care system needs to be DOGE’d, and restructured — to give constituents/patients more say on how their healthcare money is spent.

A few days ago a new scam they labeled jugging hit the news. People would watch for people withdrawing money from the bank or atm and then they would get the money.
Their prime example was a guy who went to the bank on Friday and withdrew his $6000 payroll for the week to pay his employees.
Nothing was ever mentioned about why he was paying his employees in cash.
We were never told anything about the “victim” but I feel confident they reported him to the irs and they got right on it.
That is so wrong. What if the guy just likes to carry around a whole lot of cash? Would you want some nosey person turn you in for assuming the wrong thing?
The story plainly stated he owned a landscaping business in South Carolina and withdrew his payroll for the week.
The amount was $6000.

A lot of people have asked me if I will get involved in the NYC mayor race by supporting a candidate that can defeat Zohran Mamdani. TBH, I’m torn and undecided. Like every other city run by democrats, NYC is a broken kleptocracy. Taxes are astronomical and services are pathetic to nonexistent. Anarchy and socialism are the next logical steps in this story arc. It’s what the people of NYC have been asking for for years and it looks like it’s what they are about to get. Trying to fight against this tide seems like throwing good money after bad.

My advice – Stop engaging AI.
You need to understand that “there is no ‘I’ in ‘AI.'” You can no more “talk to it” than you could, long ago, talk to ELIZA. It cannot be a source of original thought. As always, “GIGO = Garbage In, Garbage Out.” While the algorithms are interesting and potentially useful, they can also easily be “gamed.”
For example, “rogue training data” was used to teach an automated luggage scanner: (a) that a brick was a pistol, and (b) that a real pistol was not. The “training data” that did it was human-indistinguishable from proper inputs. So it goes.
When properly trained, such a device might indeed be useful as an adjunct to a pair of human eyes. But never(!) to replace them.
Treat all of this tech with eyes and brains wide open. Because you have something (between your ears) that it doesn’t and can’t.
“When properly trained”… it doesn’t take much to go the other way… Palentir is in the Oval Office…
IMO, AI is not “real” intelligence; instead, it is “fake/artificial” intelligence that is not reliable.
Whether it’s real or fake intelligence is largely irrelevant. If it gets the job done… and does so beyond any guardrails imposed upon it, as evidenced in various reporting over the last couple of years… then that’s all that really matters. The problem is: exactly what “jobs” are the technology carrying out… and, more importantly, who’s defining those “jobs”? Big Data + Palentir = Big Problems, for example.
A military expert described how he uses AI to prepare reports. Because he is a subject matter expert, he is able to catch the mistake the AI makes. The AI apologizes and the mistakes are corrected as the human expert continues preparing the report.
However, the next day, doing similar work, the AI makes all the same mistakes right down the line! So it is not really learning, at least not right now.
There is value in these large language models because they can aggregate and analyze a lot of data, but the user has no control over what data is going in. The sources are unknown to us and not controlled by the user.
If you could totally control and define the data sources, say, an author inputting all of his own work, you could trust the output. But these results are only good for facts of history. It is unlikely that the conclusions of AI will result in true scientific discovery or advancement, because these original achievements require creativity and outside the box thinking.
I dread the day people trust AI. We will be trapped inside that box of thinking and never advance.

Looking at this recent post, it’s amazing to think of the progress the MAGA Movement has made in a relatively short period of time.
It was just a few short years ago that many here thought the current two parties in DC were hopeless and President Trump should start his own third party. It was then thought to be the only way with that corrupt two party/Uni-party set up.

This article from today’s news–link below–about a wind-turbine-blade-transport accident made me wonder about the relative road safety of wind turbine components. Does anyone on this group have trucking experience? What kind of certification/experience does one need to haul one of these unwieldy blades?

I’ve met many of these on North Carolina highway 17. Unwieldy and dangerous. I have noted several times that it must take some sort of special license and a lot of human grit and determination to drive one of those trucks which transport those blades. The front of the truck is not connected to the back of the truck except by the blade itself.
I don’t know about that accident but those in the suburban areas of the winded city should be noticing the massive numbers of semi roll overs on the expressways…it seems like there is almost one a day.
Or the increase of traffic accidents on I-80.
We have a retired trucker out there on the branches, btw…now seems focused on living his best life…

I have seen rusting eyesore windfarms along the ridge of beautiful mountain ranges in West Virginia. It seems often the cheapest disposal of decrepit wind turbines is right where they stand. And often the money laundering service that put them up is long out of business having spent our tax money on mansions, yachts, planes, fancy cars, etc. And government isn’t going to take them down.
That wind farm in Palm Springs is horrible. Once such a unique and cool town is now the Key West of the desert. The entire local government is Alphabet.

Those gigantic monstrosities in the middle of some of the most beautiful landscapes and waterscapes in America are an abomination in my opinion. Their ROI is negligible and the costs of manufacturing, maintaining and disposing of their parts is huge, not to mention their devastation on wildlife. . Tear them all down.
On the bright side… Nature has no problem whatsoever reclaiming what was its own… and relatively quickly, I might add…
The winds turbines are outnumbered by the number of solar panels in the process of burning the earth up. disgusting. There are no pretty green fields anymore and in many instances, there are no trees either.

The shooter is dead I wonder if he was a Muslim/Iranian?
This disturbs me… did the LEOs on scene NOT have the authority to neutralize the active shooter before this?!? He was a demonstrated, active, public threat who had already shot several fire fighters. Shouldn’t that be enough? Is the situation different if it occurs in the woods, or do they have the same rules of engagement at a shopping center or a festival?
