Well H3LL YEAH–Illegals are responsible for a 1/3 if not more of America’s horrendous crimes. Sharyl Attkisson showed that over 1/3 of America’s homicides are committed by illegals.
It was bad enough prior to Autopen. However, during Autopen’s term majority of illegals were released on bail or no-bail regardless of the crimes. Those released, especially for horrendous crimes just went/go back over the border until things cooled, usually to appear in another area of America with a new identity. Many had/have a long long list of aliases & crimes, that often were/are not discovered unless held long enough to do a though fingerprint search.
Reason that crimes by illegals are not know is that FBI did & does not segregate out the Hispanic or Middle Eastern Ethnic groups. However, the FBI reports do segregate out other Ethnic groups that are barely 2% or less of America’s populations. Strange.

Got some small measure of justice for a young husband and father, who was hit and killed while working as a Washington State Trooper, when a drunk illegal slammed into the back of his patrol car doing 112 MPH! We were asked to delay the DST for 30 days. We said no, it takes effect on Monday and our a retroactive payment of up to $3 billion due then. The bill that brought in the DST was only passed last June but the companies are being told to pay it going back to 2022.

After reading through the entire Trump v. Casa, Inc decision on universal injunctions, it seems to me that once we are past the BBB, Congress must address the following issues:
[1] Substantial overhaul and clarification of the Administrative Procedures Act (APA).
Nationwide/universal injunctions were extremely rare before this legislation was enacted in 1945. In many respects, because of the burgeoning administrative state, which enacts regulations with the force of law, investigates alleged violations of them, then prosecutes and ALSO adjudicates (!), rules are necessary to protect citizens who become subject to this arguably inappropriate system and need protection from bureaucratic agency overreach. But litigation under the APA must not be allowed to be used against a president’s executive orders, or against the actions of an agency arising from them. The president and his agency heads are not the faceless bureacracies.
[2] Congress must clarify and state its interpretation of the phrase in the 14th Amendment “subject to the jurisdiction thereof.”
Individuals who are in the country illegally or only temporarily, are not fully subject to the jurisdiction of the U.S. E.g. tourists don’t pay income taxes. E.g. illegal aliens who snuck over the border ARE in fact “invaders”. Back in the days of open frontiers, long before air flight, the possibility that millions upon millions of people from every part of the globe easily could drop in to the country for a few weeks and give their offspring the automatic gift of U.S. citizenship was a possibility not on anyone’s reasonable radar, and perhaps the relatively few instances of “born on U.S. soil” were just neglected as a significant issue.
[3] Allowing dual/multiple :citizenships must be end.
This is insanity. If someone accepts citizenship elsewhere, his U.S. citizenship must be deemed automatically revoked. If someone is naturalized in this country, at a minimum, he must renounce citizenship elsewhere. No one can simultaneously be loyal to and serve conflicting masters, and the burgeoning of multiple citizenship holding utterly undermines the concept of belonging to a nation.

No. DJT is a US Citizen at that time.
No worries. All President Trump’s children are U.S. citizens because they were born in the U.S. to at least one parent who was a U.S. citizen. Their citizenship is not impacted by a ban on birthright citizenship.

There are already laws which grant birthright citizenship to people born in the situation of the three older Trump children.
What is being contested is whether a native born person automatically becomes a citizen for having been born in these United States.

now that SCOTUS has ruled against federal circuit judges forming dubious nationwide injunctions and TRO’s we expect the next case that is connected to this matter will also be presented to the “high court”. And that is, of course, the matter of birthright citizenship and its meaning as it applies to children born to illegal aliens.
here are some notes to think about and analyze…calling all constitutional readers and examiners of fact, precedent, and law.
I have borrowed some of this information that I read recently from jon turleys, website. Jon does a reasonable job explaining some of the legal issues, but actually I find the comments section highly engaging, as the conversation tends to lean heavily into the constitution and the debates that occur can only be described as very heated, colorful, and absolutely incredulous at times…and yes, often you find nuggets of very important opinions based on facts and law that inform about what to expect from the supreme court. I think of much of the discussion as empty emotional rants, but often you get these insights into matters that the press cannot seem to grasp, nor is capable of respecting.

“Few people focus on the words: “and of the State wherein they reside.”
This means that the subject person (and mother) must “reside” in a state at the time of birth.
residence is a legal status which, depending on the state, has requirements. Tourists and illegal aliens do not “reside” in any state.

Kids born in the U.S. to undocumented immigrants “aren’t citizens” doesn’t line up with how the 14th Amendment has been interpreted for over 100 years. The Supreme Court ruled in Wong Kim Ark (1898) that if you’re born here, you’re a citizen – unless your parents are diplomats or part of a foreign army. Just being undocumented doesn’t take you out of U.S. jurisdiction.
Also, the phrase “reside in a state” doesn’t mean your parents have to be here legally. It just means that once you’re born and a citizen, you’re also a citizen of the state you live in. Courts don’t require legal immigration status to count as “residing” for this purpose.

In that case, the parents were legally present, just not citizens. Also, if I recall he hadn’t been here for a while.
That case really doesn’t comport with the present argument and, imo, does not set precedent.
You know that the Supreme Court can rule differently today? Think Dred Scott, Roe v. Wade.
And recent case explicitly overruling Chevron.
So babies have inherent rights and are automatically citizens but can be killed (aborted) at will.
So are human babies have citizenship rights but no right to life.

to me, though, right on top of President Trump telling Americans and anyone else interested that America is not going to be in the Regime Change business in Iran, I think it was a thoughtless, dunderheaded thing to do, to have HRH on her show.
I am old enough to remember when his father was the Shah and at one time, I thought it looked like he did a lot of good things for the country, to modernize it and make things better . . . I recall going over to a church in Glendale (California) when I was in high school to watch a slide show presentation of the minister’s visit there during some great celebration. Slide show – yes – this was 1971, I think. A few days later I was with my Mom at the Pasadena Hilton having lunch – she and my stepdad had been out of town and I was telling her about the church thing and how interesting it was, what great things the Shah was doing for Iran. So the busboy heard our conversation and he burst in on the middle of it, quite vividly angry about all that he had heard me say – we had never had anything like that happen, ever – he was denouncing the Shah and saying how the Savak was so terrible to the people, don’t listen to these lies and he stormed off.
The explanation over the next few years about why people were complaining about the CIA and Savak was that the Iranian people who were “fundamentalists” were against women being educated, attending college, etc. and that was their main beef, so, you know, the CIA needed to be there to help the Savak keep things flowing along nicely . . . mainly oil, right?
I was quite clueless about the Shah, really, and the CIA and the Savak, I admit. But certainly the people of Iran are not clueless about the dangers of installing a new Shah again and somehow it would seem to me unpalatable to think that would entail a new generation of CIA and Savak horrors, on top of the mullahs and their morality police and stoning and executing women. I am just thinking they would be more in the mood of no mullahs and no Shah, no CIA and no Savak . . . and they decide where their oil goes. Sorry, Britain, China, whoever.
