We are all getting a great education!
Now, do you trust the MSM?
…do you trust the politicians?
… do you trust the Pope … that he can’t make a mistake? (infallibility)
… do you trust all past presidents?
….do you trust the CIA or the FBI …
… do you trust your own thoughts and feelings … that you know what is “right” and “wrong”. Ego self-reliance.
… if there is a GOD (that many scriptures tell us) can you do what those past prophet’s did, and ACTUALLY talk to GOD and GOD talks back.
… if someone said they talked to GOD and this is what he said… do you automatically call that person “possessed of demons”.
… we are getting a good education … and we are at different levels of our schooling.
Conversion process is going from ego-thinking/feeling to a DEEPER place inside yourself … and can be a long journey.
Socrates talks of 4 ways of “knowing”.
1st is ” you think you know and that is lowest of the levels.
2nd is “you don’t know … and you know you don’t know.
research the 3rd and 4th level. 🙂
The Deeper part in me said that it is futile to tell people what I learned, they will reverse it and come after you … if you talk about it. 🙂
It took me many mistakes to learn that lesson … over years and years. 🙂
Each person has to go through the stages, so keep quiet … and let them learn at their own pace.
Listen I didn’t even hear the Angels or Masters until I completely admitted I didn’t know anything, and everything I tried to do using my EGO made me miserable and deeply unhappy. At that point, when you learn NEW way… you hit bottom, and are ready to start filling yourself with the Spirit. (but of course the beginning level people will call you satan.) 🙂
p.s. You might be surprised all the people that do talk to GOD … and will not tell you or will tell you if they can take the abuse. Socrates, Emerson, … the list goes on and on. Join the club. 🙂
You seem to have a misunderstanding about the nature of the Pope and Catholics; that we believe he is always right about all things.
That is not the doctrine of infallibility.
The doctrine is that the pope when speaking on a matter of faith and/or morals for the whole Church will be protected by the Holy Spirit from making an error that would lead the flock astray.
I bet you also think the Popes use this authority all the time. Do you know how many times it’s been invoked in the entire history of the papacy going back to Peter?
Twice.
Once for declaring the Immaculate Conception and once to declare the Assumption of Mary at her death.
Both were already widely believed within the Catholic Church for centuries before being officially declared as dogma of the Church by infallible decree.
In every other instance the Pope is just a man, just as Peter and the Apostles were just men who, by God’s grace, faithfully spread the good news of the risen Jesus Christ to the world.
I did research it and there is debate about how often (infallibility) was used and how broad this concept is. The POPE during the INQUISITION period allowed over 50 million-130 million people to be murdered. Obviously, the people at that time “thought the POPE was head person on Earth to carry out God’s Will”. People had very elementary education at that time.
Anyway, you can believe your viewpoint. My only point is we learned to mis-trust MSM, CIA/FBI, past presidents, … and also mistrust our own concepts of “right” and “wrong”.
I was alive during the 1950’s and at the time most people did “think” and “believe” the POPE was infallible. Times are changing. What and who we believe is our education.

Considering the total population of Europe at that time was around 100 million people, your “research” is suspect.
That’s quite a trick given that in 1550 the entire population of Western Europe was 60,250,000. Accepting your lowest figure means that 83% of Europe was murdered by the Pope.

I’m not a Catholic. But I respect those who are. I personally believe that in all things “the Pope is just a man.” But, he serves in one of the most interesting (and powerful) posts in the Lord’s ministry – literally the closest thing that we have on earth to a “king of kings.” It always amazes me that men, when nominated by their peers to the position, actually continue to accept it.
Some people who took on the role – wiped out. Others became acclaimed as “the Great.”
You are “on the very front lines,” all the time every day, with millions of believers around the world looking to you. It amazes me that anyone’s willing to do it. But, the Lord calls them, and they serve.
Is he “infallible?” To me, that’s unrealistic, and in any case it’s not the point. The Office of the Pope™ does have that amount of power and influence over people, which must never be taken lightly. He is, to many people, “the Vicar of Christ.” Popes have started wars (the Crusades) by their voice alone.
Then you missed the actual role of the pope. He is a religious leader, meant to control men from what God our lord offers. He is a “religious” man in form as of men. Not God. You were given the right to God himself when the veil in the temple was torn into. That veil was thick not some cheese cloth that blows apart in the breeze. To ignore that is to ignore Jesus the Christ and all he has done to save you and that actually is to educate you for a higher place spiritually. Jesus was our example, period. All he did we are expected to do.
Excuse me but do you hear that in Catholic Churches? What you hear is you are not equal to the pope or Jesus, why.
Jesus only “condemns” the religious leaders. Condemn is not judgment it is final judgement. King Saul was mans version of a ruler, God wanted himself as king but men wanted nothing to do with that arrangement, sound familiar.
All that to say, there is knowledge in the Catholic Church but you must seek for yourself because it is limited to control us. If the Holy Spirit is with you it will guide you and you will see truth wherever you seek. Nothing is random all ordained by God. “Truth wherever you seek” is always tested through the word of God to compliment or align with his word. That is what it means to have his word written on the tablets of your heart. The spirit will bring you in remembrance of his word.
In that context where does the pope stand spiritually? If Gods word is withheld in any context he is condemned, the truth is spoken to set us all free.
And believers are the church, not the Vatican or any building. And I suspect if Gods word was freely taught as it should be men would find great comfort in that, knowing the truth. It is exciting not boring or useless. It instills greatness in all who hear it and put it in their heart. The control of man is then neutralized by truth.

That said, as a practicing Catholic, the Pope HAS made a few prouncements that have led the faithful at least somewhat astray.
Vatican II comes to mind, not to mention some of the stranger excursions promoted by Pope Francis.
And that is the problem with the Pope and the Catholic “church”…

Possibly reading The Lord God Almighty’s Book, The Bible, would clear things up for you…
I didn’t intend to “trigger” anything, so I won’t. I believe that the Pope is, indeed, “God’s servant,” and one of the singularly most-important ones. He is assigned a burden that I think very few people could bear – and yet, they do. Millions of people world-wide look to him, and hang on his every word. This is an enormous responsibility. Merely with what he says, he could in a stroke either do great good or great harm. (Whether or not he intended or realized it at the time!)
Whether you are a practicing Catholic or not, this is an enormous responsibility. And, directly answerable to the most severe Master. “Of those to whom much is given, much is required.” I have only the greatest respect for those who dare to take it on – whether or not I think that they succeed. I know that I could never think of doing it.
Half a century ago, as a college Freshman, I received permission to take a graduate level course on Teilhard de Chardin. My term paper compared his eschatology with the Objectivism of Ayn Rand. I received an A+ on that paper.
All of which has absolutely nothing to do with the Presidential Politics thread. And that’s a respectful hint. Your enthusiasm is admirable, but I just don’t see how your comments relate to this thread.

Thank you for posting it. Without getting sidetracked with the “Pope discussion”, here are my thoughts…
Many have been operating with a blind trust in so many “institutions” for so long. That blind trust was used and weaponized against us by “bad actors”.
With what has transpired over the past 8+ years, many now have a healthy distrust in so many of those institutions. That is a good thing.
President Trump himself has used the term “a great re-awakening”.
By waking us all up, we will now operate with “a trust but verify” mindset well into the future.
We needed “a great re-awakening”.
Many here thought we were way overdue for one. While others are still sound asleep. Everyone is at different phases of “awakening”.
I have heard repeatedly the phrase, “You can’t tell them. They need to see it for themselves.”
I believe that’s what we are experiencing.
The four year Sleepy Joe phase was part of that, “They need to see for themselves” Operation.
I suspect we are getting closer and closer to reaching critical mass on the awakening front.
This morning’s SECDEF presser was probably one more example of that awakening operation.

I am kind of surprised there is no tap on my shoulder from GOD team, that I’m talking too much. For 30-50 years I zipped it, and if I just tried to say encouraging words to someone who was down, I would have to endure waves of negative vibes from my spiritual teachers. I think I made that mistake about 10 times over a 10 year period. Each time I was trying to “help” someone who was down … but the Spirit zapped me because what I was blurting out … I guess from my ego part … that didn’t really help that person. Almost like a vomiting feeling. Hard to even describe that feeling, but very unpleasant.
Lately, I’m writing, and stuff is just coming through me, … and later I think… “who wrote that” that doesn’t sound like me. But I know what it feels like when I do speak at “wrong” time, … so I guess it’s ok. When I get the “bad vibe” inside of me. I’ll stop or delete post. So it is learning experience for me, to learn to “speak”… after being silent for a number of decades.
If folks won’t tell me what they have learned, it can hinder my learning. If they reject what I have learned, that is their privilege and misfortune 🙂
I’m Gen X. I don’t trust anyone. 🤣 I’m always waiting to see how things play out and adjust from there. I find it impossible to trust what some one says. I can be patient and I pay attention to the actions of a person while hearing what they say. Everything with a grain of salt my friends.
Yup! I can’t remember exactly how many years ago it was. But one of my inner teachers told me “watch how a person moves (is it gentle or jerky), look at their eyes (is it lit and you sense joy or peace or love shining from the eyes), and LISTEN to the tone quality of the voice, not what they are saying …
That has helped me the last number of years. Some “religious types” have darting eyes, move in jerky angry way (micro movements count) , and have voice tones that don’t feel good in my heart/gut.
Now, it could be the person is having a “bad” day, … so don’t judge this person … so it was just something that my teachers have repeatedly told me to look at the signs. Also it works when I watch animals.
I had about a 10 year period when my inner teachers told me to hang out with animals and tell them inwardly “that help is on the way”. I rather not get into the time when they told me to “help the animals” .. for some reason … I was shown inner videos … and horrible images … that made me cry so hard, it was so hard to watch… I begged them to stop showing the “horror” of what humans did to animals over the centuries (probably demon-possessed humans). They did stop the panoramic scenes they showed me, and ended with. “humans think animals can’t talk… they can … it is just you forgot the ancient language. enough … I have to stop writing this.. those feelings are coming back and I don’t want to cry.

Yes, she auditioned for the “role” with the Justice Democrats. From what I have read they have quite a few members of Congress in place. They audition people in various district and then pay for the campaign of the one they think will win election. Once the “winner” is in place in Congress they are beholden to the group, the Justice Democrats and often have scripts to read from.

A detailed analysis of the results of the bombing and the preparation and successful defense of the subsequent Iran attack on our troops in Qatar. It really showed how prepared and effective our military has become.
It reminded me of the total lack of preparation and effectiveness of defending Benghazi in the Sept 11, 2012 attack that killed Ambassador Steven’s and others.
This was one of the most volatile areas in the world, civil war and anti-American terrorist. We had a Diplomat Compound in Benghazi headed by Ambassador Steven’s. He had asked for increased security capability for months, but was denied by our State Department headed by Hillary Clinton.
When the attack came on September 11 our military didn’t react to come to their defense. Secretary of Defense, Leon Panetta and the military just said they couldn’t get there in time so they didn’t go.
I always wondered, considering the volatility of Benghazi and requests for more security, why our military didn’t have a contingency plan on how to respond if our compound was attacked. Just seemed like they were surprised and were not prepared to respond.
Listening to today’s press conference showed a total turnaround in our military leadership, planning, preparation and execution.
Makes one proud again-
You are confusing military might with political creatures’ motives, which during Benghazi was full-blown treason by our political creatures. Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Susan Rice, et al, have never been held to account for this treason.
The Deep State implanting these traitors into our military must not happen anymore, and the ones imbedded now need to be culled out.

Folks who’ve been studying satellite photos of the Iranian site have come up with some interesting observations about the utter precision of the strike, and its obvious impact. Medina vs Planned Parenthood South Atlantic. Gorsuch wrote majority opinion, ruling was 6-3. The two questions before the Court were “whether the Medicaid Act’s any-qualified-provider provision unambiguously confers a private right upon a Medicaid beneficiary to choose a specific provider” and “What is the scope of a Medicaid beneficiary’s alleged right to choose a provider that a State has deemed disqualified.” The Court held the section of the Medicaid Act that was being used to bring the lawsuit does not clearly and unambiguously confer individual rights. (A quick background – the patient wanted to use a specific doctor at a South Carolina Planned Parenthood facility, not for an abortion, but for other gynecology needs but South Carolina has a law saying no State Medicaid Funds can go to places that provide abortions, so the patient thought she should have the right to pick her doctor regardless of where they worked out of – in this lawsuit, she lost.)

The question before the court was “Does Article III standing require a particularized determination of whether a specific State official will redress a plaintiff’s injury following a favorable declaratory judgment.” This is about a defendant’s right to file for a post-conviction DNA testing of evidence used at the trial the person was found guilty at. This is a death row inmate who sued to have the courts in Texas do a DNA test to show the convict wasn’t there. Texas fought this one like hell – and Texas lost and has to do the DNA test even though a jury already found him guilty and sentenced him to death.
Riley vs Bondi. Majority opinion by Alito. Ruling was 5-4; Interesting that some justices sided in part with the majority while the same justices sided in part for the minority. Two questions before the Court were “whether 8 USC 1252(b)(1)’s 30-day deadline is jurisdictional, or merely a mandatory claims-processing rule that can be waived or forfeited” and “whether a person can obtain review of the BIA’s (Bureau of Immigration Affair) decisions in a withholding-only proceeding by filing a petition within 30 days of that BIA’s decision.” The Court held that BIA orders denying deferral of removal in ‘withholding only’ proceedings are not final orders or removal. An ‘order of removal’ includes an ‘order of deportation.’
That last one, given the mixed agreement and disagreement with various parts of the rulings might be worth diving into reading the opinions of the justices who had mixed reasonings as that might give us a hint on how their reasoning will sway them on the other immigration rulings in front of them.
As always, remember, not a lawyer, and only did speed reading to find the gist of the matter for these rulings, so grains of salt should be applied appropriately and for details, the link will take to each of the individual rulings.

My patriotic friend in the House advises that the culling of the Medicaid savings provisions is strongly opposed by many Freedom Caucus and less fiscally hawkish republican members. The present outrage is sufficiently great to scuttle passage of the BBB.
Moreover, some members feel it was the senate leadership’s intention from the start to oppose the BBB and pass only tax legislation using the reconciliation process. The rest of the BBB content would have to be submitted as “regular” legislation, subject to a certainly fatal 60 vote cloture rule.
Thune has actively supported the gutting of the BBB by giving free reign to the Parliamentarian. If the BBB fails, it will be on him.
