Did Trump acknowledge Juneteenth? What he said on Freedom Day
Trump’s 2025 Truth Social post did not mention Juneteenth.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt was asked by reporters earlier in the day whether Trump was expected to commemorate Juneteenth.
“I’m not tracking his signature on a proclamation today,” she responded. “I know this is a federal holiday.”
As of June 20, no Juneteenth proclamation has been released from the White House.

President Trump is right. There are too many Federal Holidays that people (federal workers, banks and the Post Office) gets a paid day off.
If working folk in the real world do not have it off with pay than they should not either.
If we were going to have another Federal Holiday, there were so many more other situations worthy of honoring.
I remember when this all went on with “Juneteenth”, I had no idea at all what it was and I’m sure I wasn’t alone.
We can see today that this was about pushing their agenda about slavery and oppression, victimhood blah, blah, blah.. because “We need Reparations”.
How about the institution of the Emancipation Proclamation for which no Juneteenth would be possible. It is an absolute joke brought on by ball less Republicans during the summer of love and George Floyd.
I handed in a suggestion on DOGE website a few weeks ago that we have way too many govt. holidays. I suggested only a half dozen or less like the rest of the common working man. If enough of us complain, something will be done. Looks like Trump is getting the message. All govt. workers should be on Social Security like the rest of us.

Not sure I understand her point. I’m watching Tucker’s interview with Dan Caldwell. Tucker clearly is not on board with an Iran war. But the point of the leak was to give a different impression. Bannon had Alex Jones on today, and it’s clear they’re not on board with this madness.
Just remember, you’re being targeted by an information operation. You could claim that I’m that PsyOp, and that’s fine. But I’m not the one hawking a war that you already know from the last 5 regime change wars will end badly for our troops.

What I tell people is to trust their gut. We all know how these regime change / nation building wars work out and Iran has the capability to turn their country into a meat grinder that would make Iraq look like a cakewalk.
You can tell Trump is getting very bad advice because of the weird things he’s been saying. Like “unconditional surrender”. And the simple honest fact that he is about to violate a marquee campaign promise. This not some side issue. This is another Middle East war. Whether in collaboration with Trump or by deception, Israel launched an attack on Iran in an effort to push Trump into war.
The longer Trump waits, the better. Because just like the court cases against him, the more time people have to think about this, the more it looks like yet another scam. Same as Kamala Harris and the gaslighting last August. Trump just waited it out and eventually the scam was exposed. Same with COVID and the vaccines – huge propaganda push about things that turned out to be overblown scams.
If he just waits a bit, he’ll realize that some very bad people tried to push him over a cliff into the abyss. Slow down. Let them self destruct.
The thing about propaganda is that it has a limited shelf life. The way you survive propaganda is just smile, ask questions, let them propagandize more, then smile and ask a few more questions. Judge delays the start of Judge Hannah Dugan’s trial, says court needs time to consider motion to dismiss
Defense attorneys have filed a motion to dismiss the case. That motion is now in the hands of U.S. Magistrate Judge Nancy Joseph, who will make recommendations on it to Adelman.
The defense is claiming two reasons for dismissal: That Dugan has absolute immunity as a judge on official acts like deciding when a case is called and also that the prosecution is an example of government overreach.
Adelman said more time is needed to handle the motion to dismiss.
He noted that no matter how he ultimately rules on the motion, the losing side could appeal to the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals, which would add more time. Biskupic eventually agreed to the delay.

After Watergate, Congress passed some laws which expired in GHW Bush/Clinton years, but some were carried through and are still on the books. Basically, the hiring and firing of a special prosecutor rests with the Attorney General, or if the AG recuses (or is otherwise absent) the Deputy AG.
Maybe he’s just appealing to Bondi to finally DO something.

When they finally received notice of eviction, they burned multiple holes in every carpet with an iron, punched holes through every wall and door and poured cement down every drain. They destroyed every light fixture as well.
