Camouflaged very professionally is how the grows are missed. Acres of grows.
I know they have FLIR on helicopters and set it to the specific temperature signature of cannabis leaves so plants stick out like sore thumbs against the Hawaiian jungles. 250 1 acre grows make more sense than 1 250 acre grow.
Although arranging water for grows spread out all over Creation in rain starved California would be problematic.
Also plants spread out would be more susceptible to deer (who have a special penchant for weed) eating the finished product.
The only way to stop the monetization of cannabis would be to Federally legalize it and let any adult who wanted to grow a couple plants, could do so.
Anyone caught selling it or giving it to kids could and should still be locked up immediately in a sane Republic.
Anyone in most States can grow personal use tobacco. Anyone caught selling homegrown tobacco without a license faces stiff Federal prison time and fines.
One day someone will file a lawsuit that will go up to that thar Supreme Court we have demanding those things not directly authorized to federal govt or the State govt must be left to the people to decide, on their own, what to do. It was the commerce clause that the Courts used to dictate laws for everything crossing State lines and those same rulings diminished the “shall be left to the people” part of the Constitution.
Tobacco for personal use, as well as pot, may turn out to be an interesting tool to get there.

Our TV’s were so old, they had built-in VCR players in them. Finally had to get newer TV sets, but even those are considered old and there’s nothing smart about them as we were the lucky recipients of hand-me-downs from a relative who is turning his whole house into smart-mode. He loves everything AI. So hopefully these ‘new to us’ sets are still good old dumb ones.
Not just in smart TVs… a couple of years ago, while installing a new HotPoint dishwasher, I looked at the electrical schematic diagram that was glued to the top of the electrical hookup box…
Being an old Ham Radio Operator, I have a basic understanding of symbols used in the schematic diagrams.
Was astounded to see the symbol representing a microphone, and took a closer look at the diagram… Not only was there a microphone, there was a transmitting circuit that transmitted on cell phone tower frequencies…
I disabled the transmitting device by simply cutting the trace on the circuit board that supplied voltage to the transmitter…
I don’t doubt that listening devices are installed on all appliances at this point in time…

Most judges are just politicians wearing black robes. They are nearly all corrupt. It’s not just Obama judges, it’s not just democrats, it’s darn close to 100% of everyone in the federal government. Don’t think in terms of R and D, etc. The whole thing is corrupt, just about all of them.
Due to the fact that our “courts”, including the “supreme court”, are all corrupt, President Trump should declare a National Emergency and institute Martial Law in the entire Nation.
Justice could then be handled by Military Tribunals as opposed to a corrupt judge who thinks his power outranks the President of the USA.
Those same uniparty congressional members are also responsible by not doing their jobs and impeaching federal judges who repeatedly issue injunctions and make rulings that aren’t Constitutionally sound and/or are overturned repeatedly.
I can’t ever remember a judge being impeached by Congress in my entire life and there have been more than enough that should have been.
The only real hope would be to get a bill passed that automatically removed or demoted a judge based on a report card of their decisions. States have the same issue – although they do at least occasionally correct a grievous wrong.
They use metrics for measurement in all aspects of gubmint…why not in this realm…asking for a friend…
And the Constitution doesn’t say judges can be removed only by impeachment. Judges just made up that requirement.

The issue is the process. Short of impeachment, it would have to be a trial – and judges tend to protect one another. The article makes a point similar to mine in that a statue (or statues) need to be passed to properly enable a process so it doesn’t become a political football.

I don’t put much credence in the human DNA part on its face. Being able to detect some amount isn’t surprising in the least, as it is handled by humans and all it takes is a piece of hair or a single cell of skin to “detect human DNA.” Now if they said there were chunks of human meat in it – that would be a different story.

I worked in restaurants for years and we had to have our hair up.

Our nails need to be short because of what can build up under those long nails and be spread.
I have been so shocked to see wait staff today with long flowing hair and fake nails an inch long.
And we wonder why there are so many recalls, or places like Chipotle having situation after situation with e-coli etc.

Someone should suggest to Trump a new government building efficiency policy. House two or more federal agencies within federal buildings. ICE should always have the ground floor.
It doesn’t require “political activism” for people in federal employment to want to provide services to illegal aliens or to any people not eligible for service. The fact is, their offices need to spend EVERY dollar allocated or their budget will be cut. Their goal is to expand their budget and to hire more people as that better guarantees being promoted. So they have every incentive to waste tax money.
So let’s put “competing interests” into the same building. ICE and Social Security and various welfare programs all in there.

This was about if a manufacturer could file a petition for review in a circuit court where it didn’t make the product but where the vendors, the stores, sell the product if that store or vendor that was adversely affected by a ruling could suffer the economic loss. The court says, yes, the manufacturer can sue in a circuit where it’s vendors are. The FDA tried to limit the lawsuits to the D.C. Circuit, and lost.
Esteras vs. United States. Barret wrote the majority opinion, also a 7-2 ruling. This is about a district court considering to revoke a prisoner’s supervised release. There are 10 factors courts must consider when this circumstance comes up, only 8 of those 10 factors are actually enumerated. So the question came down to when a court considers to revoke a supervised release, in determining what factors can a district court consider the unenumerated factors. The ruling is No, they can’t. So in this case the parolee, Esteras, won.
McLaughlin Chiropractic Associates, LLC vs McKesson Corp. This is a Hobbs Act question and the majority opinion written by Kavanaugh; with a 6-3 ruling. This one goes back to when companies were inundated with unsolicited ads to their fax machines. There was no opt-out notice from those advertisers, in this case, McKesson Corp, a health care company, was just slamming with their telemarketing ads and so they were sued. During the lawsuit someone created a class-action lawsuit about these faxed ads and the class-action lawsuit was messed up because the FCC created a work-around, saying that fax machines were not part of the telemarketing restriction rules that applied to phone companies.
This ruling says ‘The Hobbs Act does not bind district courts in civil enforcement proceedings to an agency’s interpretation of a statute. District courts must independently determine the law’s meaning under ordinary principles of statutory interpretation while afforcing appropriate respect to an agency’s interpretation.”
(personal opinion, think this Hobbs Act ruling is a big one and puts agency rule making people on notice they aren’t the be-all, end-all when it comes to regulating people and our businesses.)

Stanley vs City of Stanford. Gorsuch wrote the majority opinion; ruling was 7-2. This was about the City of Stanford’s retirement benefits plan for firefighters; it had two categories, those who worked at least 25 years would have health insurance coverage until they reached age 65 and the other category would cover health insurance for those who had to retire before working 25 years due to disability. The city changed its policy categories in 2003. Stanley, who retired due to disability sued under the Americans with Disabilities Act claiming the new policy (those who retired early due to disabilities would only be covered by health insurance for 24 months) discriminated against her. She lost.
Fuld vs Palestine Liberation Organization. Roberts wrote the opinion, ruling 9-0. This was about the lawsuit where citizens in the U.S. were affected by terrorist acts (whether personally or family members killed or injured in such acts while they were overseas) sued the PLO and the PA (Palestinian Authority) because of those organizations financially supporting either the doers of such acts or family members if the doers died while carrying out such acts. The PLO/PA said that the courts in the U.S. lacked jurisdiction. The PLO/PA lost.

3.) Generally skeptical of Regime Change, bombings, foreign intervention, Israel as an ally, etc., etc. and whatever whatevr… but, more importantly, trusts Trump’s judgement 100% on the “correct path” to take

Liars gonna lie. They lie to get us into these wars. They lie about ANYONE who opposes these wars. Attacks like this illustrate the fundamental weakness of our enemies in Washington D.C. They can’t come forward because once they come forward, everyone can evaluate who they are and what their agenda is.
Most likely, CNN straight made it up or just printed whatever somebody in the Administration handed them fulfilling their stenographer role for the deep state.
But let’s say for a moment that it is true. That she is “on the outs” with Trump. I view that as a good thing. It means there are some people around him who are not yes men.
Internal opposition, both within the Administration, from MAGA Media, and from people like us, is why there’s a 2-week “pause”.

— U.S. Border Patrol agents found a drug smuggling tunnel
linking San Diego and Tijuana
in early April, the agency said in a press release on Wednesday.
The incomplete tunnel, which extended more than 1,000 feet inside the U.S., was actively under construction
