President Trump commissioned the two new flagpoles carrying our nation’s colors at the White House last month. Construction was undertaken in the past several weeks and today the first flags were raised on the South Lawn. WATCH:

I bought a flag that was too big for my small flagpole on the front wall. So I gave it to my elderly Air Force veteran neighbor because his flag was tattered and he has a 30 foot pole in his front yard.
Sadly, both he and his wife passed away recently in heir 90’s, but that flag is still flying and their son told me he will keep it up until the house is sold. I said if the new owners do not want it, then he should keep it.
It’s still flying and I admire it every day from afar and feel pride and love for that piece of fabric. What it symbolizes and represents is why so many are appalled when others stomp or burn it. It stands for proud Americans who have died for our security, history and freedom. It is the value system of our country and the story of our birth as a nation.
My hope is that the next generation will continue to venerate our Great American Flag and learn why it is such an important part of our national identity.
God bless our Flag Day President Donald J.Trump, who gave us this magnificent gift, flying prominently at the White House for decades to come.

I really appreciated how PDJT pauses in the middle of the storm and still enjoys beautiful moments in life instead of non-stop whining, complaining, and wishing that everything could be perfect NOW.

He doesn’t wake up and complain even though he may want to do so on the inside. He exhibits happy and sometimes strong and stern. I just don’t see him showing weakness. Instead he shows strength by having a Can-Do attitude and words to match.

Wow, that just gave me teary eyes.
I think about that each morning, and whenever necessary, when the often scattered winds we have at the beach bind it up, and tidy it and the Trump flags up. I don’t have expensive, large poles and flags, just modest emblems to reflect my modest life.
The one my parents flew, only on certain days, finally wore to tatters in 24/7 use by myself so I retired it, folded it and it sits in the cedar chest next to my father’s burial flag.
The “we the people” HOA approved this flagpole installation.
