I’m see it directly in electronics parts and lab equipment. Forex, a 700 volt differential oscilloscope probe I paid 199 bucks for two months ago is now 299 bucks. Even US made stuff has gone up, though not significantly. Fluke high end multimeters are one example. The lower end models made in China have gone up more but both have increased in the past two months.
I won’t bore readers with parts but DigiKey has been separating out tariff costs for awhile now and, forex, I recently saw a 50 cent tariff charge on a 2.60 MOSFET. Buy from Japan or Korea source, no tariff, but not as cheap as Chinese stuff. I try to buy Japanese whenever possible. American stuff is largely non-extant.
I’ve been tracking prices on hundreds of items, from food to consumer items to electronics to auto parts, for the better part of a decade now. It’s perhaps irrelevant to the macro picture but I live in my world , my civilization, so it’s important to me.
When prices dropped or didn’t respond to tariffs. I reported that. Now, similar. Report what I see and it is what it is.

Yes. I work for a name brand company that’s been around over a hundred years. When we put our brand on a China product, it still has to meet our specs, requires UL certification, the plants have to pass factory audits (no slave labor or cutting corners) and has to be clear of all patent infringement claims (Intellectual Property rights).
There are many companies that play loose & fast in china and dont do any of those things, hence, a lot of the cheap junk we see from china that dies the day after we buy it.
Having a brand name is not always a guarantee of ethical conduct (see Nike, Apple) but it’s more protection than buying a no-name brand where you know it’s junk from the start but ya still buy it because it’s 30c cheaper.
Were not seeing at Retail yet because the 30% china tariff was just clarified a month ago.
It takes a retailer 60-90 days to execute a price change from their suppliers. The big guys have 500-2500 stores, and they have to print and execute new price tags, update their websites, re-do signage, advertising plans, monthly circulars and flyers, etc.
As Creekside Patriot noted below, its quicker to see the impact for commercial / industrial products because they dont have that 1000+ store footprint to update.

I hear your concerns about the attacks on hydro. It’s long proven to be a simple, economical source of power, and any effects on flora and fauna can be mitigated or addressed, and have long been and are continuing to be. One clue that might help is edits to shot length. Commonly available AI software is apparently relatively brief in shot length, typically 8-10 seconds. Look for cuts and dissolves and edits in the video. One can learn more at Google, since they have developed some of the software. I recently found out about it when some Youtube content creators were getting stripped of their accounts by scammers using AI to spoof Youtube content creator support channels.
I expect we’ll need to become a lot more cynical and skeptical regarding video evidence as these developments proliferate.

But a funny thing happened in Nebraska this week that blew that tired, dusty old myth to bits. ICE raided Glenn Valley Foods, pulling off the largest worksite immigration raid in state history. Dozens of illegal workers were removed and deported on the spot.
And what happened next? Well, something the media and the left don’t want you to know…
The waiting room was jam-packed with American citizens lined up, applications in hand, eager to work. The very jobs we’re told no Americans want suddenly became hot commodities the moment the illegals were shown the door.
Trump ally Steve Cortes summed up this entire fiasco perfectly:

Edward Bernays didn’t just sell cigarettes when he staged the “Torches of Freedom” march in 1929—he rewired gender norms, making women equate smoking with liberation. The 1950s brought us the “scientists recommend” campaign that made cigarettes seem healthy. The 1970s gave us the food pyramid that made sugar seem nutritious. The 1990s brought us “Just Do It” campaigns that made consumption feel like personal empowerment. Each era refined the technique: not just selling products, but reshaping the fundamental categories through which people understand themselves and their world.
We’ve now reached the ultimate manifestation where literally everything transmitted through screens is programming. Adults can potentially recognize this manipulation if they choose to see it. The greater risk lies with children, who have no reference point for unmediated reality—they’re being shaped by systems designed to eliminate the very capacity for independent thought.
Yet this totalizing artificial environment contains its own contradiction. The more completely reality is mediated, the more obvious the mediation becomes to those willing to see it. When identical scripts appear across hundreds of news outlets, the coordination becomes visible. When celebrities spontaneously develop identical political opinions, the puppet strings show. When health authorities promote policies that obviously harm health, the inversion reveals itself.
We’re witnessing the emergence of what might be called “reality resistance”—a growing recognition that almost everything presented as natural, inevitable, or beneficial is actually engineered, artificial, and extractive. This isn’t abstract theorizing but pattern recognition: the ability to see that systems which claim to serve human flourishing consistently produce the opposite results.
