My report on the no kings day. It is all scuttle butt so use the appropriate amount of salt.
On Friday an acquaintance of mine told me some were discussing taking their big trucks to a larger town where they were supposed to have a protest, in case they were needed.
On Sunday someone closer to the town told me the police had warned protesters not to block or get in the street because they had threats of them being ran over. A small group of protesters showed up at the meeting place. It was at a restaurant called On The Border. The protesters did not talk to the restaurant owner and get permission to be on his property. When they came and parked in his parking lot and joined the protest on the street, he had their cars towed.

If true, their numbers are shriveling due to limited resources AND dwindling “participation”, also indicating all optics of “resistance” are concocted, contrived claptrap pimped out by MSM toadies via what few chips are left to cash in

I share the opinion of others here that the organizers hoped that – faced with over 200 adverse judicial orders – Trump would “crack” and start defying the courts. (Jackson/Lincoln style.) This would give them the narrative they needed to accuse Trump of being “a king.”
The reality is that Trump is fighting to be “a President.” He is being systematically opposed at every turn by people who viscerally hate him.
Many people thought that Trump would act impetuously when the pressure finally got high enough. But, funny thing about Trump: he speaks impetuously, but he doesn’t act that way. He keeps his opponents off-guard in this fashion. Maybe that’s why he’s so rich.
The organizers apparently thought that if they put up a web-site showing a map of every American city over a certain population, protesters would materialize in all of them at once. But it simply didn’t happen. Especially not in “flyover states.” People don’t consider him a king, and they don’t want him gone. They don’t agree with the message, and they didn’t “act out.”
They want immigration laws to be enforced as written. And it should come as no surprise that many Latinos who are here legally feel (and vote) the same. They worked hard to be legal. They want that to “count.”

2 counter protesters arrested in Ocala for allegedly pushing no Kings protesters. The FOX News radio blurb on the Sky 97.3 out of Gainesville also reported that the crowd was about 1000 people. No head count was given for the number of counter protesters. I wish I would have gone just to see the demographic breakdown of people willing to brave the heat and diesel fumes from angry passersby.
We have more illegals here for the horse farms and agriculture than you could shake a stick at. We also have a massive influx West Coast types, so much so the locals say “Welcome to Sunny Ocala-Fornia” as a snide inside joke to each other.
Drove down Airport Blvd in Pensacola Saturday early afternoon , happy to report that the few No Kings pasty young liberals on the side of the road were few in number and being drenched by a downpour. There are four expectations I have for President Trump and his Administration. First, defund and get us out of the Russian/Ukraine war. Stop all CIA supportive actions, stop the money and weapons, end this war.
Second, avoid Any US involvement in the Israeli/Iran conflict. Neither is a trusted friend, no finding, no weapons, no personnel. Both the first two things support President Trump’s efforts for peace. Do not be brought into either war.
Third deport the illegal aliens brought in since Obama and Joe’s open borders. Be smart, get the criminals first and allow those who self deport a path back but do it now using the full force if government and the voters mandate.
Fourth, take control of your own government. If certain cabinet heads aren’t performing, fire them and get new ones. If the CIA/FBI and other deep state agencies are working against your agenda, fire them and use whoever is left or other agencies to do the work. We absolutely need to implement Trump’s agenda; we voted for it, we won, those opposing need to be pushed aside. Our nation is at way too fragile a point to ignore these mandated changes and time is ticking along.
There are many other items I wish to see implemented but these for me are critical and will show if we are serious about restoring our great Republic. So far, progress is limited, the wars go on and some parts of the cabinet seem to worth. perhaps the most successful is starting deportations but the rate of these is still low.
