The historical manner of rolling out the various troops, trucks, tanks, etc. from the beginnings of our Army was a great US history lesson, ( for me) and especially for the kids & young adults in attendance or watching on TV. Bet most kiddos these days dont get a sense of pride for America from the lefty liberal schools. And yet the left/liberals/TDS sufferers still claim it was a “parade for Trump” . I just can’t.

Starting today, my Brave browser v1.47.186 (yes, it’s an older version running on my Windows 7 desktop) crashes when I bring up CTH. No other websites are doing this. CTH working on MS Edge.

Yes. The same thing happened to me twice when I clicked on a link on CitizenFreePress this morning. I just tried hitting that link again and Brave crashed again. That has never happened before.
BTW, I’m using Brave v1.47.186 and Windows 7 as well.

I have a Windows 10 computer, plus a Windows 7 computer which I continue to use because it allows me to use old versions of photo editing programs (Paint and Lightroom) which I like better, but won’t work with Windows 10.

Newest version of Brave 1.79.123 on a two year old Mac works fine, as it has since the beginning, with shields up. Haven’t checked TOR or Linux recently. I can’t recall I’ve ever had a problem with the Treehouse on any of my Mac or Linux machines going back a decade now. I’ve never owned a Wintel machine, back into the 80’s.

We have just finished watching for the umpteenth time the wonderful “Foyle’s War, Colkitto.
It is divided really into two historical parts, the first taking place during WWII, and the second beginning after when Foyle is recruited by the ” security” services of the British government immediately after.
The story lines are excellent and the acting tremendous. In the too few episodes of what I am calling the “second part”, the inner workings of the service are shown for some of their dishonourable actions…

I am much more worried about our NATO alliance, where we are obligated if any NATO country invokes Article 5 (I think), in other words – an attack on one is an attack on all!
Seems like President Trump is playing the Israel-Iran proxy and now full-blown war very appropriately. He was the No Nukes Peace Treaty negotiator guy up until Friday.
Understand the concern and long term I tend to agree, but remember that it doesn’t obligate military action – it only enables it. Further, if a NATO member is the attacker (starts it), then all bets are off.
At this point though, there are very serious questions regarding the viability of NATO considering the views and actions of all the other members, who among other things have shown they no longer embrace the concepts of liberty and freedom and are hell bent on a war with Russia and the if the truth be told, the destruction of the US.
At this instant in time though, the ME is more concerning to me for the simple reason that while Russia is known to show constraint and base their actions on reasoning and logic – those of Iran are not bound by the same constraints and China is a backer and are liable to enable and support pretty much anything. Thus I would rate it the most likely situation to spin irretrievably out of control and towards a globally devastating situation.

The quote from the article is hardly “shrieking” and predominately discusses principles and ideas – ones which seem to cause you concern for some reason. Further, one doesn’t wait until after something has happened to discuss whether or not it should happen.

Can’t say I’ve ever heard it put quite that way – but true.
Would still would be a very good thing to give one’s best efforts.
I think and hoping it’s truth, that PDJT is trying to bring about peace in both places. He can only do so much. Yet, if he says we are withdrawing from both conflicts and will support them no longer in any way, the picture might change rapidly. Maybe not or maybe he doesn’t have that option or he knows some things we don’t about what would happen if the USA got out completely.
The problem is we will never know the whole truth nor the details and we just have to wait and see what comes down the road. There are so many many different articles saying this, that and the other thing is what’s really, really happening but we can never find the one that is actually correct. Frustrating to the max for us out here in the heartland.
In the case of Ukraine, am past the point myself of wanting to see a complete cessation of support in weapons or dollars.
In the other case, Iran called off the scheduled talks for today, but PDJT continues to indicate a desire and willingness to talk. There is also the possibility that Russia can exert some influence on one side of the equation.
Hopefully in both situations there is still a lot of diplomacy going on “off the record” and/or quietly. The problem with Ukraine is the EU (and congressional) globalists intent on keeping it going.

About a month ago I went with my husband to his eye doctor appointment. The office has a rainbow flag propped up on the windowsill. After about ten minutes of looking at it I said to my husband and anyone else within ear shot -Look honey they are showing a rainbow flag to remind everyone of Gods promise not to flood the earth again. A lady sitting about eight feet away from me smiled. They called my husband to the exam room, and I went back to reading my book. When he came out of the exam room, he tapped me on the shoulder, I put my book in my bag and got up. The first thing I noticed was the flag had been removed from the windowsill. When my husband went back two weeks later to pick up his eyeglasses the rainbow flag was nowhere to be seen.

I don’t have a problem with lab grown meat so long as it is labeled as such – both in the groceries and on the menus. Same with powdered crickets – make sure the consumer knows that they are in the food BEFORE they buy. What I worry about is that Congress will step in and water down any such labeling the way they watered down the origin of food labeling until it is meaningless.

I just got this feeling maybe DHS and cooperative local authorities short circuited something big or the main event is coming later this coming week. It was too much of an anti-climatic 14 June after all the hype and money spent. Something is just not right.

And I think that what they were hoping would have happened by now is that Trump, faced with literally hundreds of “judicial orders,” would have snapped and started defying them, “Jackson/Lincoln style.” If he had done that, they could claim that he was trying to be some kind of “king.”
But – and I am as amazed at this as many of you are – he didn’t. Thus, instead of being an autocratic “King,” he’s simply fighting an uphill battle to be “President.” Without this key narrative, “No Kings” is hollow.
I haven’t seen any post-mortem analysis of this effort yet, but I strongly suspect that it was a bust. Despite all the [public …] money spent, the people of this nation do not believe or react as they do. Gosh, they actually do want immigration laws to be enforced. (And, *gasp!* many Hispanic [legal …] voters feel the same!)
I also suspect that the strategy of dumping more than two hundred “judicial orders” was clearly part of the overall plan. Surely, if we stress this “impetuous person” hard enough, he will “crack.”
But here’s one thing I’ve noticed about this man: he is impetuous in his talk, but never in his action. Perhaps this is a large part of why he is staggeringly rich.

The idea was clearly ill conceived from the beginning, with protesters believing they have the ability to march 30 miles across the Egyptian desert towards a war zone without interference, but the group never actually made it beyond Cairo. Egyptian authorities detained at least 200 pro-Palestinian activists in Cairo on Thursday (with more reportedly being held). Among the detainees were people from Australia, France, Morocco, the Netherlands, Spain and the United States.
Footage shows activists being beaten by an angry mob of Egyptians (possibly security forces) after they attempted a sit down protest and locked arms.
These people are seriously deluded. I guess some of them learned a hard lesson. The Middle East is not the US or Europe.

As the “No Kings” effort enters “day+1,” we are beginning to see a few places – such as Salt Lake City, Utah – where violence and “86-47 chants” did appear. As expected. San Diego’s protesters did light a couple fires, but were quickly outmatched.

History Tidbit, 1776, Edward Rutledge, The youngest signer of the Declaration of independence: Edward Rutledge was born November 23, 1749 in Charleston, South Carolina, the youngest of seven children of Dr. John Rutledge and Sarah Hext. Following many of his contemporaries, including his brothers John and Hugh, he studied law in London at the Inns of Court. John Rutledge would also become a noted statesman, as well as Governor of South Carolina. Upon returning to Charleston, Edward started a successful law practice, partnering with Charles Pinckney – Another future Governor of South Carolina, Founding Father, and signer of the U.S. Constitution. On March 4, 1774 Edward Rutledge married Henrietta Middleton – daughter of Henry Middleton, a member of the wealthy “planter class”, Founding Father, and member of the colonial legislature during the American Revolution, attending the First Continental Congress, even serving at a time as the body’s president. The Rutledge and Middleton families are South Carolina aristocracy, meaning the marriage bonded two of the most powerful families in the state. The couple would have 3 children. During the American Revolution, Rutledge served along with his brother John representing South Carolina in the Continental Congress. At age 26 Edward Rutledge was the youngest delgate to sign the Declaration of Independence – beating fellow South Carolinian, Thomas Lynch Jr., who was also just 26, by 5 months. It’s pretty incredible to think about just how young many of the Founders were. Today, in order to run for President of the United States, you have to be at least 35 years of age, yet 10 of the signers of the Declaration were under 35 – including the author of the Declaration himself, Thomas Jefferson, who was just 33. Edward Rutledge returned home in November of 1776 to take a seat in the South Carolina Assembly, sitting on the committee that wrote the Articles of Confederation. During the Revolutionary war he served as a Captain of artillery in the states militia. He fought in the Battle of Beaufort in 1779, and the following May (1780) he was captured by the British, along with his co-signers of the Declaration of Independence, Arthur Middleton and Thomas Heyward, during the fall of Charleston, and taken to a military prison in St. Augustine, Florida. He was held prisoner until July, 1781, before being released in a prisoner exchange. After the war he returned to the state Assembly, where he served until 1796, then serving in the state Senate for 2 years. Then in 1798 he was elected as the 39th Governor of South Carolina. Unfortunately shortly into his term he fell ill with gout and died at the age of 50 on January 23, 1800.
