Historically, recision requests from POTUS appear to die in the Senate when they do die but I’ve had difficulty in gathering precise data on the details. Last one I could find was from Clinton, though it appeared to be modified and reduced before passing.
Prior, it gets muddy. Resource documents would be helpful. I think no executives since Clinton, other that PDJT in 2018, making the requests is telling, and PDJT failed in 2018 in the Senate if memory serves.

As 3rd generation DOD, I want to watch this parade, and thanks to all previous Army members of those 250 years,for protecting us citizens to include my Grandpa (Army Air Corps), Dad (Armor — tanker), and AF husband (missileer and space surveillance– who taught our kids to root against Navy football and basketball along with all about Little Round Top).
Grew up loving parades, change of commands, march music and now enjoy flyovers in southern COLO.

U.S. District Judge Denise J. Casper on Friday blocked the order, saying that “[t]he Constitution does not grant the President any specific powers over elections.”
They need to give judges reading comprehension tests yearly, as well as mandate yearly refresher courses in the Constitution and legal research as this brain-dead judge amply demonstrates.
Finally, and most significantly, Section 3 contains the Faithful Execution Clause, commonly known as the Take Care Clause. The Take Care Clause is arguably a major source of presidential power because it invests the office with broad enforcement authority. Yet, at the same time, the provision also serves as a major limitation on that power because it underscores that the executive is under a duty to faithfully execute the laws of Congress and not disregard them.
It’s illegal for non-citizens to vote. PDJT’s execute order was an action to cause an ENFORCEMENT of that law. There are NOT any limitations to his enforcement power – nowhere does it say “it only applies to laws involving X, Y, or Z.”

You know, as I have said elsewhere, I predict that tomorrow will largely be a bust.

They tried to drag a 15×15 wooden shed with no trailer on a dirt road by nylon tow strap with a shitbox unregistered Dodge pickup over to another shanty town tent city about a quarter mile from me.
The strap broke and that shed sat in the middle of the road for over a week.
Dirt roads are considered “private” by the County and are not maintained or patrolled by LE. A call for service to 911 is 40 minutes out..

I just got back from a trail hike. I call it it hikercising. At a trail junction there was a small sticker posted on a signpost. The sticker was a spinoff of Let’s Go Brandon, it said Let’s Go Taco.
A couple of weeks ago I mentioned here that because President Trump kept on flip flopping of the tariffs that the term TACO (Trump Always Chickens Out) was being used on Wall Street as a trading strategy and that it would become his brand and that the commie base would pick it up and use it.
It has started and President Trump did it to himself. It’s a catchy phrase and it will fit on a bumper sticker, expect to see it more often. This is one of those unforced errors and I think that President Trump’s statement on illegal aliens is also an unforced error and falls within the spectrum of TACO.
President Trump, knock it off and get back in the MAGA lane. We need that man that after being shot, pumped his fist in defiance and chanted FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT.
It’s called “very high-level negotiations.” And Trump knows that business better than anyone. He imposes high tariffs to bring you to the table. If you negotiate in good faith, you are offered a different bargain.
How does that change the reality that the commies have found a brand that they can use on President Trump? one that’s on par with Let’s Go Brandon. The commie base will never hear the truth about President Trump’s negotiating style.

First, all of us need to get clear it is not accurate. Just as discussed here, the conversations I’ve heard focus on the fact that this is his negotiation style. So as an example, assume we want to use that as the “counter” to taco.
Second, each time you see or hear taco, confront them back with the “counter.” In this example, you would have left the sticker but would have drawn a circle around it and then a line through it (negating taco). You would also have added the catchy phrase that counters taco.
We need to come up with the catchy phrase that glorifies (in this example) negotiation.
It all comes down to confronting their crap. Another example is we let them get away with for far too long is that we were the ones ruining “democracy.”
I have no idea for what a catchy phrase is to counter taco, but maybe someone can think of one and after that we have to use it all the time.
Don’t let them get away with this lie! Especially when their lack of negotiation skills (they are arrogant tyrants) has hurt this country badly in many ways.
