JD made a blanket statements about always being on the side of POTUS and supporting comments for DJTs efforts for the American people like the tax cut reimplementation.
However, when Von specifically asked if Musk was upset about what was in the bill, JD did not mention the removal of the EV mandate section which POTUS cited as a reason Musk was upset and that autos with variable sources of energy needed to be maintained.
That seemed to be a conscious omission on JDs part IMO perhaps not to offend tech bros.
Vance has a habit of answering without offending when it furthers his “One World Order” views…

JD is eyeing 2028. As is Elon and all the tech Bros. This is not going to get easier. MAGA is going to need to contend with them (or present a viable alternative). Of late, I hear a lot of complaints from MAGA but no solutions. We need to change that dynamic. “Primary the RINOS” for example. With who, exactly? “Cut the deficit”- how? “Win swing states, enforce election integrity, same day voting, paper ballots, only the citizens vote” – I agree on all of these, but how? I go back to what Steve Bannon popularized with Precinct Strategy. We can NOT be passive observers this time.
“Hybrid” autos are a contemporary fine blending of electrical and internal combustion power sources.
This type of power source for an auto is valid and not worth inserting as a causative agent for the feud.
Hybrids are extremely expensive to purchase and maintenance fees are insane.
EV’s die in cold temperatures and the battery catches on fire so it can burn your house down.

I’m curious why you say hybrids are “extremely” expensive. (Mine was about 2-3K more than combustion engine). You also said their maintenance fees are “insane.” What about their maintenance is insane? I haven’t had mine long, but I have friends that have had their hybrids for 100k and 200k miles with original battery. So, I don’t know what part is insane.
I will say that my yearly tag fee is $100 more b/c of hybrid. No thrilled about that.

I can tell you from 30 years of experience with a business that has used many different high mpg vehicles, this hybrid vehicle beats all of the traditional ic vehicles I have used. Not only with high mpg, but low maintenance costs: brakes, tires, etc. The vehicles burn through 40 to 60 k miles per year.
Yes AND we are punished via additional taxes for owning them. I dumped my first one because gubment claims I’m not paying ny fair share of gas tax. This laughable in its insanity. Of course not: I drive a hybrid, that’s the purpose of the car.
Leave it to the power structure to play both sides. I never got a kick back for ownership and yet I’m punished for trying to reduce my “carbon footprint.”
Last year TN imposed a $100 fine for having a hybrid. If cars weren’t so expensive, I’d dump this one, too.

Vance is being accurate when he says that the government already has all of this information. What he leaves out is that these systems are not connected, many of them antiquated, legacy dinosaurs built decades ago. For Palantir to do what he’s talking about is currently not possible.
The Palantir project will require modernization of the legacy systems so that they can send said data to a “central data lake”. In the end, all systems will be sending to the data lake.
Palantir is the analytics application platform that connects to the data lake, crunches the raw data and then builds models out of the data. Every person in the US with a social security number will have their own AI model that will serve as a profile for them.
Over two terms, this is probably the worst idea I’ve ever heard from the Trump administration, which will be the US version of China’s Social Credit score. They’re either insanely naive or malicious in their intent. I’m guessing it’s the latter because this many people couldn’t all be this stupid.

I just watched it and I think all of the criticisms of Vance are unfair. He is pro Big Beautiful Bill. He has a great attitude toward Thiel, appreciates that Thiel supported his candidacy, but doesn’t think that getting donations from people means that you have to do what they ask you to do.
