As we have watched things unfold, we have noticed that Tulsi Gabbard and Marco Rubio seem to be the most effective at delivering results despite the efforts of the entrenched control mechanisms of the deep state intelligence community. Actions speak louder than words, and while the words of many are strong, it is the actions of Gabbard and Rubio that show focus.
Previously Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard removed the National Intelligence Council from the CIA and removed the heads. In the latest development, the intelligence apparatus is in a state of apoplexy because DNI Gabbard has experienced the politicization of the Intelligence Community Inspector General’s network (ICIG), and she is now taking bold actions around the silo control mechanism.
Before getting to the substance, it is worth reminding everyone of clear politicization within the ICIG when Michael Atkinson changed the CIA whistleblower rules in order to facilitate a false accusation against President Trump using CIA operative Eric Ciaramella and Alexander Vindman. Atkinson worked with his former boss in the DOJ, Mary McCord, to frame the construct of an impeachment against President Trump.
Also remember, Atkinson’s testimony to the House impeachment committee was sealed and classified by co-chairs Adam Schiff and Jerry Nadler who were part of the framing. That transcript has NEVER been released.
In the latest development, DNI Tulsi Gabbard has installed a key ally, Dennis Kirk, into the ICIG apparatus. Kirk is in place to monitor the political operations of the Intelligence Community and report to DNI Gabbard so that she can eliminate the bad actors. To say the Deep State IC embeds are apoplectic would be an understatement. The Inspector General system within the Intelligence Community is a critical control mechanism for politicization of intelligence.
The leaks to the media are to the Washington Post, because this core part of the IC is a CIA element. The CIA uses the Washington Post as their public relations and narrative distribution network.
WASHINGTON POST – Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard installed one of her top advisers to a position within the office of the inspector general of the intelligence community, according to two U.S. officials familiar with the matter. The move potentially compromises the integrity of the independent watchdog office while it is investigating the use of the Signal messaging app by top government officials to discuss classified details of a pending U.S. military strike against the Houthis in March.
The adviser, Dennis Kirk, was placed within the watchdog office on May 9, but reports to the DNI, according to one of the officials, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because of the matter’s sensitivity.
Rep. Stephen F. Lynch (D-Massachusetts), the leading Democrat on the House Oversight Committee, sent a letter to acting intelligence community inspector general Tamara A. Johnson on Thursday, demanding information about the appointment of Kirk, who was an adviser in the Office of Personnel Management during President Donald Trump’s first term and co-author of a Project 2025 chapter on the federal workforce.
Lynch said the Oversight Committee was informed of the appointment by the Council of the Inspectors General on Integrity and Efficiency (CIGIE), a group made up of government watchdogs.
In a statement to The Washington Post, Gabbard’s press secretary, Olivia Coleman, accused the intelligence community inspector general of failing to fulfill “the responsibility to be an independent organization unbeholden to partisan interests.”
Coleman said that Kirk was assigned to the watchdog office as part of the transition team and found “evidence of overwhelming and intentional politicization by the current IC IG team.”
The office’s leadership, she said, has “bucked President Trump’s directives” regarding diversity, equity and inclusion, “slow-walked responses to Congressional Republicans while prioritizing responding to Democrats, abused taxpayer dollars for personal purposes, and created a workplace environment filled with politically motivated action,” she said. “This is unacceptable on all fronts, and the DNI is taking action to ensure the IG office is focused on fulfilling its mission.”

Barack Obama took office in January 2009, with the House and Senate fully controlled by Democrats (60 Senators) throughout 2009 and 2010. The establishment of the ICIG was part of the construct for the Fourth Branch of Govt.
Current DNI Tulsi Gabbard is working through a process to deal with the IC weaponization legacy we have discussed on these pages for quite some time. Again, one of the few cabinet officials actually confronting the constructs within the Deep State.

If so then you missed the point of the article starting from the title. The point is that the ICIG (Intelligence Community Inspector General office) is compromised, partisan, and was created not to make sure the intelligence agencies are acting properly but was in fact created to cover up IC malfeasance.
Tulsi herself is not personally compromised. She is the DNI.
The ICIG office (not part of the DNI) was compromised by her predecessors and others mentioned in Sundances article.

Come on, now… If that were a truly accurate statement, OJ Simpson would have died in prison. It was not any court of public opinion that found him not guilty, it was a Court of Law deciding the prosecution failed to prove its case. By the way, by “Romney,” I’m assuming you’re referring to Mitt’s father, George Romney, who was not a natural born citizen due to having been born in Mexico. He WAS, however, a U.S. citizen according to U.S. Naturalization Law due to having been born to two U.S. citizen parents. Sadly, it’s a widespread misconception that the word “citizen” and the term “natural born citizen” mean the same thing. They do not and never did.

McCain was born overseas to US Citizens. He was always eligible. Neither Obama nor Cruz were eligible. I don’t know about Romney.
McCain’s overseas birth to U.S. citizen parents made him a U.S. citizen according to then current naturalization laws.
That did not make him a natural born citizen. In order to be a natural born citizen, one must be born to two U.S. citizen parents AND be born on sovereign U.S. soil.
McCain’s birth certificate was entered into evidence in a court of law when Hillary’s lawyer filed suit against him for running for president during the 2008 election despite not being born on U.S. soil. The court accepted his BC as legitimate, and McCain never denied its validity.
Said BC stated that McCain was born in Colon Hospital in the City of Colon in the Republic of Panama which is outside the Panama Canal Zone. He was, by U.S. law, a naturalized U.S. citizen which excludes any possibility of him being a natural born citizen.
Tulsi was born in American Samoa. Her mother was born in Indiana.

If that’s true, then maybe. Under NBC requirements it says “born of parents” who are citizens at the time of the candidate’s birth. So if the Constitution matters, then she is an American citizen but one who is not eligible to run as per the requirement in the Constitution. However, all that has been ignored since Obama was allowed to defy that requirement. Doubtful the SC will ever rule on the NBC clause.

Both parents need to have been born on American Continental soil, as when the Constitution was written, that was all we had. Until a territory is made a state, there is no American soil in that place. Why are all these “citizenship” adjacent people running for President of the U.S.? It’s not like we don’t have plenty of real natural born citizens living here who are qualified to run. It would be rare, even to find a regular natural born citizen in any political office or governorship. Someone should study this. Why are we getting immigrants off boats and electing them to office before their feet are dry?

What part of AMERICAN Samoa escaped you? Both of Dir. Gabbard’s parents were born in America, as was she. She is a natural born citizen.
Persons born in American Samoa are Nationals not Citizens unless they acquire citizenship through their parents. Same was true for CNMI until the 1980s. A series of Supreme Court cases known as the “Insular Cases” became the defining law for how the Constitution applied to US possessions in the Pacific. Note that this was after the Hawaii Organic Act which made Hawaii a US Territory and extended US citizenship to Republic of Hawaii citizens.

Being a citizen at birth–a natural born citizen–depends on many variables, including location of birth, but also marriage status of parents, parents’ citizenship status, parents’ previous residence location and length of residence, and more.

In general those born in American Samoa are US Nationals, not citizens. But as elsewhere, the citizenship of parents is also a factor in citizenship. The NBC partisans can argue all they want about the meaning of “natural born” in the context of 18th c. concept of “citizenship” but that argument is going nowhere today.

For the record, the status of being a natural born citizen is not a type of citizenship and is not granted by any law. Its existence, or lack thereof, is wholly determined by circumstances of nature; which, is why it’s spoken of as being a NATURAL born citizen.
The fact that it is 100% natural is why the Constitution’s Framers decided to use it as the most important factor in determining who should be deemed to be eligible to become president. Later, the same requirement was mandated for the office of vice president.
The circumstances that create a natural born citizen can ONLY exist at the exact moment a child is born. If they do not occur then, the child can never attain the status of being one; and, if they do occur, that status can never be erased.
So, what ARE those circumstances? It’s really very simple. In order to attain the status of being a natural born citizen, one must be born on 100% sovereign U.S. soil to two U.S. citizen parents. It was always thus until The Powers That Be decided to place Barrack H. Obama into the Oval Office; at which time, they and the liberal media used every trick possible to confuse the issue. Sadly, much of the resulting confusion stands today.
So, what is Sovereign soil? Still pretty simple… Included is any location within the borders of any one of the 50 states of the Union as well as any U.S. Territory that has been legally organized and incorporated by the U.S. Congress. While American Samoa is a U.S. Territory, it was not organized and incorporated by Congress despite its americanish sounding name.
Currently, there is only one U.S. Territory that was organized and incorporated by Congress, a very small island (actually, an atoll) named Palmyra Atoll (aka Palmyra Island) way out in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. It has zero permanent residents, so it currently produces no natural born citizens; although technically, if a U.S citizen woman who was impregnated by a U.S. citizen man happened to be there when her child was born, that child would in fact be a natural born citizen.
Babies born in the U.S. Territory of American Samoa are not.
Despite widespread misconception, neither are babies born on U.S. Military bases located on foreign soil. Such places are not within our borders and are not even owned by the U.S. government. They are leased by our government from the host nations; and, those nations always retain a certain amount of control over what happens thereon.
For example, if a citizen of the host nation is harmed, killed, etc. on a foreign U.S. military base, the host nation can demand that it is allowed to come in and become a part of, or even take over, the investigation. Therefore, such locations can never be 100% sovereign soil.
Any child born on a foreign U.S. military base to a U.S. citizen mother is a U.S. citizen according to our naturalization laws. However, those children cannot attain the status of being a natural born citizen due to not being born on sovereign soil.
Here is one for you: Maryland Man’s primary paramour, Chris Van Hollen. Father: Foreign Service/State Dept., mother CIA. Born in Pakistan, I am assuming at the U.S. Embassy.
There are only two offices for which being a natural born citizen is Constitutionally required; that of president and vice president.
No offence intended, but unless Chris Van Hollen plans to run for president or vp, I’m not sure why you might think any of that information is relevant to a discussion about natural born citizens.
If Chris Van Hollen was not born to two U.S. citizen parents on sovereign U.S. soil, he is not and never can be a natural born citizen. If I recall correctly back around 1990 after the Wall fell in Germany and the Soviet Union (a British construct) was disbanded, Russia re-established itself. There was a purge of the old guard communist establishment.
I am not saying that there was anything ideal about this in as much as the way and means as to how it was implemented, but there has been a massive shift in Russia’s political and cultural direction.

Russia has neither declared war on Britain nor fired even a single rocket at the country. Britain has also not declared war on Russia, however they are pouring in weapons and money to enable Ukraine to fight a proxy war for them against Russia with the assistance of other EU countries like Germany and also the USA. If these countries want to fight a “legal” war against Russia they need to get their governments to approve this and be prepared to send their young men to fight on the front line. How many Brits would vote for this in a referendum? Certainly not enough to get a majority of support. If it is true that well over a million Ukrainian men have died in this war and many, many injured, the blood of these is on the hands of not only President Zelensky who could have prevented the war but also all the politician warmongers in the EU, UK and USA. It is high time that the media start reporting on this and calling out these warmongers.

There has never been effective oversight of the NSA’s bulk collections programs, or indeed, intelligence agencies in general. There’s been a lot of noise made about this vaunted oversight in defense of programs revealed by leaked documents, but this is nothing more than a talking point.
At The Big Picture, a clip of Sen. John D. Rockefeller (then Chairman of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence) discussing how oversight actually works has been posted. It’s from an interview given in 2007, about the time the FISA Amendments Act was being put together to replace the expiring Protect America Act. The amendments act, among other things, extended the length of warrantless surveillance and gave telecoms retroactive immunity for their participation in the NSA’s bulk collections.
Here’s Sen. John D. Rockefeller explaining why, even back in 2007, intelligence agency oversight was a joke.
DAVIS: Reports quote administration officials as saying this is going on and it’s being done in a way to avoid oversight of the Intelligence Committee. Is there any way—

Curiously the above article mentions something that happened to me…one of my kids had a Chinese national as their boss at a warehouse, 2010 or so…he gave them a type of baggie with seeds alleged to be some sort of Chinese herbal tea, I don’t read Chinese but it had Chinese printing. Which my ‘child’ gave to me, I tossed it…kind of wishing I had saved it and turned it in to police. So now its in the landfill..yikes.
