The DOJ has announced a criminal assault charge against New Jersey Democrat Representative LaMonica McIver, who was involved in a physical confrontation with Immigrations and Customs Enforcement officials outside a federal immigration facility in New Jersey earlier this month.

Just so we’re clear, holding a boisterous demonstration outside of an ICE office is no different than protesting outside of an abortion clinic, Constitutionally speaking. Gatherings and speeches we don’t particularly agree with are Constitutionally protected in both cases.
It’s when the pushing, the shoving and the punching starts that a line is crossed over to “assault,” which is an entirely different matter than a protest. This arrest is justified by the assault, which is the unlawful activity.
Many of these events (like J6) are staged to promote the idea that Constitutional activities like protest gatherings and (GASP) offering different opinions on social media are -in and of themselves- criminal in nature since they are deemed an assault on the delicate sensibilities of certain individuals.
And that is pure nonsense! If the J6 arrests were limited to those few who put a hand on law enforcement -or planted pipe bombs- they would have arrested a bunch of FIB provocateurs and not all those grandmas.
See how a treasonous gubmint will conflate two entirely separate matters to effect one sweeping clampdown to achieve a pre-planned end to all Constitutional activities?
