for reference, Andrew Johnson granted 7,654 clemencies. WITH ONE VERY SIGNIFICANT DIFFERENCE: almost every single one of the clemency orders issued were to heal the country as the north (union) was planning to hold trials against confederate officers and soldiers for “war crimes”. President Johnson extended a “bargain” in his reconstruction plan by allowing confederate officers and soldiers clemency if they pledged/oathed allegiances. In doing so, most historian agree this special clemency “bargain” saved the country from another civil war, as no southern man would ever stand by and allow confederate officers and soldiers to be charged with “war crimes”. Bearing in mind, that no consequences happened upon General Sherman, who without a doubt had committed more war atrocities than any other officer in that conflict. President Johnson was smart enough to to understand that by giving these honorable officers and soldiers clemency, would ensure the country could move forward and “heal”. I believe given the circumstances this was probably the most honorable and righteous action of a pardon/clemency that any President has ever issued. Oh, how I wish that President Trump during his inaugural address to the nation had inquired of quid pro Joe on national TV what year it is and who is the president. These are typical questions posed by doctors to determine a person’s mental competency..
Those questions would have put ole Joe on the spot all right. No matter how he answered, it would have either exposed his dementia for the world to see, rendering invalid the pardons issued not 24 hours prior, or else it would have demonstrated quid pro Joe’s competence for trial, putting that argument to bed.
President Trump is a genius at forging pathways through the massive confusion of modern life. He is excellent at fitting together what to most of us are ungainly and random pieces into a coherent whole.
I wondered why he was going to the Middle East for three days — a huge expenditure of energy for several people in the government — when so much is going on with legislation, tariffs, free trade deals, Ukraine, and Iran. Even for him it seemed like a lot.
Then when he formalized so many business deals in the Middle East I started to understand. Not only do we need to build manufacturing, but bringing money in for big companies helps secure his position and governance.
Now in the Best Baker interview President Trump explained that Middle East countries having been ignored since 2020 were turning to China. He said he made the trip in part to show them he values the region and wants close ties. It worked. He built ongoing connections and brought in much new business.
But I think he did something else.
As soon as he got back (or maybe in the plane), he attacked the lawlessness of the Clintons by tweeting out a video that highlighted several of the deaths that benefited Hillary. This when he was tired and had a new grandson to meet.
He immediately followed that up with this auto pen tweet that emphasizes the stolen 2020 election and raises all kinds of legal issues.
Even with all the other things he is doing, including the newly planned discussion with President Putin, President Trump is on the attack.
Why now? Why with all the complexities he’s dealing with, why is he going after the criminals now?
Maybe he’s had it with the Supreme Court decision or the attack they launched using Comey. Maybe.
But could it be that he went to the Middle East to show the criminals the world has changed and that it no longer wants to be controlled by power mad elites?
His speech pointed out the progress in the Middle East that has been achieved on their own terms and the meaning in that speech well applies to humanity.
He basically said the elites don’t matter any more. And now he’s reminding us of Hillary’s crimes and the far reaching consequences of the stolen election, and that what matters is MAGA.
I say bring it. Things might be bad for a while. But what would be far worse for all of us is the aftermath if we lose the country.
Short of declaring martial law with tribunals versus current justice systems/courts, we will not see this exposed nor even less prosecuted and corrected.
Is it time to seize the day?
I would assume that it’s some lower echelon employee being instructed by the various ‘departments’ of the White House, whether Blinken, Austin, Sullivan or whomever, who actually used the auto pen. It’s who gave the instruction that is important.

Perhaps Trump is simply reminding the dirty players that the courts/CONgress forcing his hand to revoke habeas corpus to expedite deportation removals could also open many other cans of worms that a martial law environment would likely be necessary to deal with.

But, as Sundance has repeatedly said, Trump has no intention of indicting anybody for the many crimes committed in stealing the 2020 election, nor for any other similar Cabal crimes (Schiff, Fauci, et al.).
So it is best to keep in mind that when Trump sends a message such as this one, he is NOT conveying to anyone in any way whatsoever that he intends to do anything about it criminally. As Sundance has told us, a person is silly and guilty of psychological aberration if he thinks so.
Why Trump would send this message now, a message his ardent supporters have long since known in detail, is puzzling. Why would he touch the “third rail” of non-prosecution in a message to the very people who are deeply invested into putting evil America-hating people in jail, Hillary for instance?
