Israel Update:
-His name is Muhammad Sinwar.  He is the brother of Yahya Sinwar the mastermind of 10/7.  
They actually worked on it together.   He rose up the command of Hamas and in around 2006 was the head of the Khan Yunis (city) Brigade and was behind the kidnapping of Gilad Shalit the Israeli soldier and was the one who insisted to have his brother released in the deal.  He was also a boss of the construction of the tunnel network in North Gaza.  After his brother was killed by the IDF he became the number one in Hamas Gaza.  

He is an icon in Gaza and survived about 5 attempts over the decades.  He is considered more radical than his brother, if that is possible, and a major obstacle in the hostage negotiations.  

Yesterday the IDF got precision Intel of his location.  I said a few updates ago that I see an improvement in the Intel from Gaza. He was in a tunnel that has a  command room and meeting rooms that is partially under a hospital in Khan Yunis.   The Intel also knew that he is not with hostages.   It all happened at the time that Trump was giving a speech in Saudi Arabia.   The US was not given an advanced notice as it was a sudden and rare opportunity.  

The IAF (Air Force) dropped about 40 one tone banker buster bombs at the tunnel. 
The IDF released a sketch of the tunnel with command and control room and meeting rooms.  

There is no way that anyone survived it.  There is also information of other key figures of Hamas, like their iconic Speaker who have been tormenting  Israel for s long time with psychological warfare, who may be killed too.  The IDF attacked rescue teams (didn’t kill them) to prevent anyone from saving the terrorists in case they are trapped in the tunnel. 

It may take some days to know if he is killed.  

If he is killed it is a significant game changer. Also a serious hit to the morale of the Hamas if it was successful.  Additionally I just heard that a couple of days ago there was another attempt on senior terrorist in Hamas and we are waiting for the results to be known. 
 We may have an important development.  This is a duplication of the attack on Nasrallah in Lebanon.  Remember that between the beepers and the attack on him , Hezbollah was too overwhelmed to fight the IDF effectively.  

Somehow the IDF managed to minimize the damage as the tunnel was in the hospital premises adjuvant to the structure and not underneath the structure of the hospital, sill there are some 28 killed and dozens injured so far.  I don’t know how many are terrorists.  

I assembled some footage and posted after this update.  

-You probably know that Trump did a deal in Saudi Arabia for some Billion and a quarter in weapons and munitions.  And some 600 billions in future investments.  
It appears that Trump gave up on having the Saudis join the Abraham Accord treaty with Israel for now.  I can’t blame him, the conditions with Gaza don’t enable it.  

I didn’t see an announcement about a Defense treaty nor about a nuclear plant.  
But it doesn’t mean that we will not hear about the plant later on.  

-Trump lifted the sanctions on Syria and their President.  We in Israel are calling him “The terrorist in a suit”.  He is scheduled to meet Trump today.  This man was on the wanted list.  
I guess we can give him a chance to show that he changed if that is even possible?  
This was done as a gesture of good will for the Saudi Prince and the Turkish leader.  

I have to make a comment here.  The Saudis are considered “moderates” and this Prince is a better one than his father.  But don’t forget who you’re dealing with here.  The Prince ordered a critique journalist to be sawed to pieces in an embassy according to US Intel and he (the Prince) was a person that was not accepted by the US until money made a difference.  
In 2024 three hundred and thirty  people were executed in Saudi Arabia , the highest in decades.  Not just murderers. Also for drug smuggling and other none lethal offenses.  Opposition to the king is also a serious offense and can be lethal.  

Only in 2018 it was made legal for women to drive.  There were no theaters and cinemas until 2018 because it contradicts conservative Islam. The law is based on Sharia. 
Until 2022 the executions were done in public with beheadings.  And they used to cut off the arms of thieves which now is now rare. 

So they are moving in the right direction. Probably because of the Prince but we are talking about a very primitive tribe based society. 

-50 killed 100 injured in Gaza last night in North Gaza.  

-Two Houthi missiles at Israel while Trump gave the speech.  One fell before arrived and one intercepted.  They fired over Saudi Arabia while Trump is there.  

-A few rockets from Gaza to Israel. Islamic Jihad takes responsibility.  Missed and intercepted.  IDF gave evacuation order to the area it came from and is attacked there.  
Note: A silly operating basis of letting them evacuate and destroying the immediate area.  
We are getting them to replace locations again and again.  The major planned maneuver will prevent it. Just take over the lands and control it until it’s all cleaned up.

(1844-1919)

German-American entrepreneur who founded prepared-foods company (H.J. Heinz Company-57 varieties), dies at 74

Biography: Henry John Heinz was an American businessman and entrepreneur. He founded the H.J. Heinz Company and built it into the major food processing and packaging company that still bears his name today.

Heinz started packing foodstuffs in 1869 in Sharpsburg, Pennsylvania with Heinz Noble & Company, which went bankrupt in 1875. He then founded F & J Heinz in 1876 with his brother and cousin, later buying them out in 1888 to form the H.J. Heinz Company. The company introduced the iconic “57 Varieties” slogan in 1896 and was incorporated in 1905 with Heinz serving as president until his death in 1919.

Heinz successfully lobbied for passage of the landmark Pure Food and Drug Act in 1906. He also worked with the Food Administration during World War I and served on boards of various financial institutions and committees. By the time of his death, the H.J. Heinz Company had grown to over 20 plants, seed farms, and factories.

In his personal life, Heinz married Sarah Sloan Young in 1869 and they had five children, though one died as an infant. While Heinz was raised Lutheran, his children were raised Presbyterian like their mother, and Heinz himself was Methodist and Presbyterian later in life. His travels often included visits to graves and sites of notable religious leaders.

Heinz died of pneumonia in 1919 and was buried in the family mausoleum in Pittsburgh. His legacy includes a bronze statue erected at the Heinz Company building in 1924, and his descendants include grandson H.J. Heinz II and great-grandson Senator H. John Heinz III.

The American Idol Season 23 finale will air on Sunday, May 18, in a three-hour coast-to-coast broadcast on ABC. The live episode will feature final performances and the announcement of this year’s winner.

Preps underway for John Foster’s hometown celebration after making American Idol’s Top 3

Wednesday’s festivities begin at 5 p.m. on First Street in Addis by the RaceTrac near LA-1, where John Foster will parade down, right in front of many homes along the street.

“I’ve never heard a man sing as good as him at 18 years old,” Tommie Rothman said.

Rothman is a Brusly native and is excited to see the Valedictorian from his alma mater parade right in front of his house.

“I’m gonna cheer him on, best I can,” Rothman said.

After the parade, John Foster will ride a boat down Bayou Plaquemine around 7 p.m., and all folks living along the bayou are encouraged to be a part of the fun. At 7:30 p.m., he will perform on a stage set up at the Waterfront Park, bringing his Louisiana sound back to where it all started.

The gates for the concert open at 6:30 p.m., and expect security checks going in.

“We’re expecting a great crowd out here tomorrow evening, and everybody will be on different levels, so everyone will have a different shot of everything, beautiful background, historic Bayou Plaquemine, and the Mighty Miss right behind us,” Barker said.

John Foster is going to play six songs during his concert, and the last one is going to be close to the heart for a lot of folks living in the Baton Rouge area.

On Sunday, May 18, John Foster, along with the other two finalists, will perform for the last time on the show and a winner will be selected.

Addis native John Foster is heading home to celebrate his Top 3 spot in American Idol, and both Addis and Plaquemine city officials are preparing to give him a Louisiana-style welcome home.

COMMENTARY FOR GALATIANS 3

(26-29) “Real Christians enjoy great privileges under the gospel; and are no longer accounted servants, but sons; not now kept at such a distance, and under such restraints as the Jews were. Having accepted Christ Jesus as their Lord and Saviour, and relying on him alone for justification and salvation, they become the sons of God. But no outward forms or profession can secure these blessings; for if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. In baptism we put on Christ; therein we profess to be his disciples. Being baptized into Christ, we are baptized into his death, that as he died and rose again, so we should die unto sin, and walk in newness and holiness of life. The putting on of Christ according to the gospel, consists not in outward imitation, but in a new birth, an entire change. He who makes believers to be heirs, will provide for them. WE ARE FIGHTING A SPIRITUAL WAR OF GOOD VERSUS EVIL

PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD

Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.

I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.

Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.

With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.

Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me. 

Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.

Prayer Of Thanksgiving In The Evening

Praise Your holy name Heavenly Father, for granting yet another day in my life and for being with me every step of the way. Thank You for the many blessings that You have provided and the love and fellowship that I have with the friends and family that in Your grace You have placed in my life.
 
My heart is so thankful for all the many blessings that I enjoy day by day, and today I am once again reminded that Your mercies are new every morning and Your faithfulness endures from generation to generation.
 
Thank You, that I have been brought into Your family and have been made a child of God and a citizen of heaven. Words cannot express my love and devotion to You Lord
 
I pray that You would watch over me as I rest tonight, and that You would give me a restful night’s sleep so that I may wake up in the morning refreshed in body and spirit and ready to do Your will. Guard all those that I love and may we all grow in grace and in a knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ in the days that lie ahead. This I ask in His precious name,

Prayer Of Reflection On The Past Day

Loving Lord, as the day is coming to an end, I want to thank You for being with me in all that has taken place today. I also want to lay the whole day before You, asking that you would show me if there is anything that I have done to hurt or harm another person unknowingly, or if I have done anything that is displeasing in Your sight, or quenched the work of the Spirit in me, so that I may turn away from such things in the days that lie ahead.

Lord, I desire to do Your will in all things. I pray that You would cleanse me of any wrong thoughts or attitudes that may have surfaced in my heart today. Wash me in Your cleansing flood, I pray. 

Thank You, that You are a God who forgives our transgressions when we are willing to confess them to You, knowing that such cleansing before You immediately draws us back into sweet fellowship with Yourself. 

Give me a good night’s rest I pray, and may I rest quietly in Your loving arms in the knowledge that in Christ, I am eternally secure, due to Your amazing grace, for which I praise You. In Jesus’ name,

Evening Prayer For Forgiveness

Heavenly Father, thank You for bringing me through this day and Lord, forgive me for the times when I have wandered outside Your best will for me, instead of trusting You implicitly.
 
Thank You, that You are such a gracious Shepherd to me and that You come and rescue me even when I lose my way and stray from the path that You have laid out for me.
 
As I look back over today, I know Lord that there were things that I should have said and done differently, and times when I reacted in a manner that was not honouring Your holy name. Forgive me I pray, but thank You, Father, that You always faithfully prepared to gently bring me back to Yourself.
 
Give me a good night’s sleep I pray, knowing that there is no condemnation because I am in Christ, and may I wake up in the morning refreshed and ready to do Your will. In Jesus’ name I pray,

Retired Magistrate here: My 71 year old brother, John, a Viet Nam vet, who was exposed to Agent Orange and got ALS, died about an hour ago.

I was on the telephone and talked at him while they took him off the vent. He was such a fighter and had a will to live but with ALS there is no cure and no recovery.

He will have a full military funeral. My heart is broken.

Our Heavenly Father, Your children come to you tonight to ask for healing and peace throughout our country so that we may return to being One Nation Under God. Guide us to be leaders in Your Kingdom, spreading Your Love and Salvation to all. Forgive us our sins and deliver us from evil.

Lord, we ask for a blanket of protection over all our troops and law enforcement who serve to defend and protect us. Bless our representatives with the strength and wisdom they need to achieve the path You have chosen for us.

Please place Your Guardian Angels of Protection around Donald Trump and his family as they seek to lead America back to You. Also, we pray for Angels to protect and support our Sundance as he works for justice and peace. 

Grant us patience, Lord, as the evil ones try to anger us and cause us to fall. Spread blessings over Israel and Netanyahu.

We humbly ask that You please comfort those who are grieving and in pain.

And prayers up for all political prisoners. Prayers up for Julian Assange and for all the protesters of January 6 who were or are entrapped in DC.

Thank you Father, for Your love and the gift of Life.

A prayer for members of the CTH that they remain strong and clear thinking and that the site remain a bastion of freedom and continue to spread the facts of our current dilemma to millions in this country and across the globe.
