We here, in the US, would need non stop patrolling of the tracks and switches with video cams observing every inch of the tracks to guarantee everyone’s safety. How many threats, real and fake, would be called in on a daily basis by all the usual suspects? How many acts of sabotage would be caused by the deranged slipping off their meds?
Until having a clear conscience is made great again, I believe 300 mph trains in the US are a pipe dream.

Trains have speed limits here in the USA… Most towns/communities have train speed limits in their jurisdictions…
Once clear of those speed limits and out on the mainline, speed limits were set by the RR companies… The max speed my hubby could go, and with the permission of the Conductor, was 125MPH, or in RR lingo “Highball Speed”…

Here is the game plan that the forces against Trump will be using for the foreseeable future.
They will attempt to get you to make the perfect the enemy of the good.
Be it the freedom clowns and spending, the immigration hawks with H1B visas, the peace doves with timing, the cultural warriors with total bans of DEI/CRT, the neocons with war fighting, or the swamp dwellers with draining the swamp.
All of them will attempt to get you to believe on whatever issue is the issue of the day that it doesn’t go far enough or do enough.
They will try to make you think that some sub issue of that issue is more important and should be handled first, that since the issue hasn’t been handled yet it won’t be, that we can’t do more than one thing, that so and so is a plant to stop the draining of the swamp, or that because it wasn’t 100% Trump lied. On every single issue, one or more groups will attempt this strategy.
You can’t allow them that power over you. If Trump secures the border and deports 2 million, don’t allow them to reduce that good by them saying well he didn’t deport 2.5 million, so he failed or lied.
You can’t allow them to use the perfect to void out the good in the coming months.
They will try. They already have with the CR and the H1b visa debates. It works, that is why they use it.
You have to keep it in the front of your head on everything about to occur that half a loaf or hopefully in most cases 7/8ths a loaf is better than no loaf.

I have been told that a sentence of a period of time and a day means you will be there for the entire time and the day.
A year and a day means you have to go to Prison not County Jail. In most localities inmates can do up to a year of confinement in a County Jail for various offenses.
A year and a day means they have to do their time in State Prison. Depending on where you are at, State Prison can be preferable to County Jail..

The push back against the “judicial over-reach” and “weaponization of the judiciary” are part of the counter-revolution we are going through.

The Supreme Court, as it is currently being run, is essentially simply a microcosm of congress. It’s majority rule, not rule of law. They have improperly departed from their intended role.
If a member can’t define a woman then she does not have the mental capacity to serve anywhere, not even dog catcher. How would she know whether to spay or neuter a dog if she can’t even distinguish the difference with humans? So no, not even dog catcher.
We as a nation need the Supreme Court to get back to the Constitution as written as the foundation. We can’t introduce slippery sloped interpretations/reinterpretations.
Failure to use the law as written and the constitution as written is why the country finds itself where it is. Everything that has proven to be destructive could have been nipped in the bud as it were if the law of the land had been followed.

“February 27, 2020” was at the height of the Diamond Princess drama. If people had looked at the results immediately after the ship was finally docked and unloaded they would have seen the Covid scam for everything it was worth.

One side promised to let them keep what measly few benefits they get that make their lives a bit easier, such as affordable child care, while the other side is known for almost always cutting those benefits.
So is it any surprise that they then made a calculation and decided “if I am going to lose my house and job to Akshit and Rajinder no matter who gets in, mind as well vote for the party that will at least give me welfare after I do” ?
There is no shock or mystery here. Anyone who didn’t see this result coming is a retard (pejorative).
The sad part is, this is the way it will be forever. The unholy alliance of boomers and Indians have made it so that both of the main parties in Canada MUST cater to these groups or else they will simply never be voted in. A deadline of sorts is approaching on May 20: In separate Freedom of Information Act lawsuits brought by conservative groups like Judicial Watch and the Heritage Foundation and various news organizations, the Justice Department has been ordered by a judge to say whether it will stand by Biden’s assertion of executive privilege to block the release of the tapes. Last May, Biden and his Justice Department claimed releasing the tapes would have a chilling effect on witnesses cooperating in high-profile investigations.
DOJ officials will also have to indicate whether they will continue to press other arguments for keeping the audio secret, including that disclosure would invade Biden’s privacy and that it could interfere with future investigations by making high-level officials less willing to cooperate.
When will the DOJ start to be on us the citizens side? Pam Bondi again?
Nicole Shanahan has been consistently thoughtful and grounded so the fact that she now thinks RFK might be lying to her, that someone else is calling the shots, and that that someone isn’t President Trump, are all serious red flags. Something behind the scenes doesn’t feel right.
I don’t know if RFK very clearly lied to me, or what is going on. It has been clear in recent conversations that he is reporting to someone regularly who is controlling his decisions (and it isn’t President Trump). With regards to the siblings, there is something very artificial and aggressive about them, almost like they were bred and raised Manchurian assets.

After pretending to consider various women and minorities for the Supreme Court these past few weeks, President Bush decided to disappoint all the groups he had just ginned up and nominate a white male.
So all we know about him for sure is that he can’t dance and he probably doesn’t know who Jay-Z is. Other than that, he is a blank slate. Tabula rasa. Big zippo. Nada. Oh, yeah … We also know he’s argued cases before the Supreme Court. Big deal; so has Larry Flynt’s attorney.

The MAGA Right no longer admires Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett. Over the last few weeks, the Trump appointee sided with the liberal justices in crucial cases concerning the administration. In March, Barret, along with moderate chief justice John Roberts, ruled against the Trump administration’s attempt to defund USAID, the notoriously left-wing government agency. Last week, she sided with the liberal justices again over President Trump invoking the Alien Enemies Act to deport migrants. She’s also ruled against the Right on cases concerning January 6 and presidential immunity.
Some Trump supporters want to impeach her, a proposal with zero chance of happening, but one representing the base’s anger. ACB is now widely mocked by conservative pundits and right-wing shitposters alike. This contrasts sharply with how Barrett was treated by the Right when she was first nominated. Out of all of Trump’s nominees, she received the most glowing treatment from conservative media. Conservatives saw her as their own Ruth Bader Ginsburg. They overlooked her glaring flaws. The desire to promote a role model for conservative girlbosses made them ignore her adopted Haitian kids and her tears over George Floyd.
SERIOUSLY clueless and, therefore, easily propagandized. NOT a desirable characteristic on the SCOTUS.

U.S. District Judge Paula Xinis revealed the invocation on May 7 in an order requesting briefing from the administration. “The Court requires formal briefing of the Defendants’ invocations of privilege, principally the state secrets and deliberative process privileges,” she said in an order. Her order referenced a court document not publicly available.
U.S. District Judge James Boasberg held a hearing on the same day as Xinis’s order and requested information on how the administration and El Salvador were handling deportees. Both he and Xinis have indicated they could hold the administration in contempt for not following court orders. Questions have abounded in recent weeks as to the deportees’ status and how much control the administration had over individuals already removed to El Salvador.
So far, multiple federal judges have said they thought Trump misapplied the law, specifically doubting that Tren de Aragua’s activity could be considered a foreign invasion under the Act. The Supreme Court declined on April 7 to rule on that question.
Boasberg, however, indicated on May 7 that he was inclined to agree with the other judges, asking Kambli whether the government’s position was that all those federal judges were wrong.”

A long time ago I read an article on the rise and fall of governments. This is the gist of what it said.
In the beginning the wealth is distributed throughout the population. Everything runs smooth and orderly. As time goes along the scammers begin to figure ways to draw the money up to themselves. As the wealth gets pooled into a smaller and smaller group, dissension starts to build. When the majority of the wealth rests within a small group of people, there is some kind of event that redistributes the wealth throughout the population and the cycle starts again.
This has occurred throughout history all of the way back to King Solomon. It does not matter if it is a democracy, dictatorship, monarchy or any other form of government, the result is the same. The event of change can be a revolution, a vote or some other event that redistributes the wealth.
The US, China, EU and other countries have sucked the wealth up to where it rests within a small group within each country and there is strong dissent in all of these countries. History indicates there will be some event that redistributes the wealth within each country very soon. They most likely will not be the same kind of events.
IIRC, and I admit to not paying that much attention in World History class, wasn’t the Glorious Revolution so-called because it wasn’t bloody?
