With every pat on Zelensky’s back, Macron seems to be saying, ‘don’t forget our little deal, and our promises and how this will all turn out if you just listen to us, and not HIM.’
To the casual eye, it all appears to be friendly support for peace talks etc. But it’s really all about, ‘remember what we (Macron, Starmer and others) have said about how we’re going to win this war without ceding territory, and the fact that the US Congress stands with you, and we stand with you to provide everything you need. The interpretation I took away from this meeting was President Trump representing a strong, sovereign and independent nation speaking to someone else.
Macron and possibly Starmer want in on the discussion representing their interests (EU, and possibly Globalist/IC interests). That would have given the impression of some sort of global (US and EU) alliance speaking with actor/actress Z.
The third chair gets pulled away and someone is left standing without a chair. A game of musical chairs. President Trump knew in advance that the third chair would be moved away.
