Virginia Giuffre (41) has killed herself.
(VIA NBC) – Virginia Giuffre, one of the most prominent survivors of Jeffrey Epstein’s sexual abuse, has died by suicide, her family said Friday.
Giuffre, 41, died in Neergabby, Australia, where she had been living for several years.
Giuffre was one of the earliest and loudest voices calling for criminal charges against Epstein and his enablers. Other Epstein abuse survivors later credited her with giving them the courage to speak out.
She also provided critical information to law enforcement that contributed to the investigation into and later the conviction of Epstein’s associate Ghislaine Maxwell, as well as other investigations by the U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York.
“It is with utterly broken hearts that we announce that Virginia passed away last night at her farm in Western Australia,” her family said in a statement to NBC News. “She lost her life to suicide, after being a lifelong victim of sexual abuse and sex trafficking.”
“Virginia was a fierce warrior in the fight against sexual abuse and sex trafficking. She was the light that lifted so many survivors,” the statement said. “In the end, the toll of abuse is so heavy that it became unbearable for Virginia to handle its weight.”
Raised primarily in Florida, Giuffre had a troubled childhood. She said she was abused by a family friend, triggering a downward spiral that led to her living on the streets for a time as a teenager.
She was attempting to rebuild her life when she met Maxwell, Epstein’s close confidant. Maxwell groomed her to be sexually abused by Epstein, and that abuse continued from 1999 to 2002, according to Giuffre. Giuffre also alleged that Epstein trafficked her to his powerful friends, including Prince Andrew and French modeling agent Jean-Luc Brunel. (read more)

I have questions. A lot of them. And if that’s evil in your book, so be it.
There is a lot to understand. Your statements lead me to believe that you are blaming the victim. That is quite common when one doesn’t understand the dynamics, which are well described in Psychology, of the victim psyche. What they did to Virginia is quite common in the sex and drug trafficking industry. You must recruit others in order to not be as brutally punished. It becomes a matter of survival and it messes with your mind and heart. It is extremely tragic. She admitted she was not a prisoner of Epstein and Maxwell, and from what I read, she thoroughly enjoyed the lifestyle they provided her and readily admitted so. She was of legal age when she did the pimping, and according to her testimony, was paid handsomely for her efforts.
It is also my understanding that she only left the lifestyle that Epstein and Maxwell provided her when she met her husband and married him and moved to Australia.
Now, since you seem to be so informative on the subject, please tell me how Virginia Giuffre came to be represented by Clinton and Weinstein attorney, Davie Boies. Many of us pray for the souls of the faithful departed, as Christians have traditionally done because of our hope in eternal life.
Judas Maccabees offered sacrifices for his soldiers who fell in battle. This is reported in one of the books Luther tried to exclude from the Bible.

I must confess that I even pray for my deceased pets and it’s easier than praying for some people. Especially some that in later years ended up in my home even though they weren’t mine and due to illness in the house I was unable to give them as much attention as they deserved or so I feel. So I pray for God’s forgiveness also even though I think that I did the best I could.

Because Protestant Bibles don’t include the Apocrypha, I prefer to define it more or less this way.
The Apostle’s Creed includes the belief in “the communion of saints.” This is generally understood to be the whole body of believers, including us.
It’s a regular thing to ask another to pray for one, or ask others to pray with a certain petition together. But what about the dead? Scripturally, they aren’t; the young lady is “not dead but asleep” (Luke 8, Matthew 9), several texts refer to those asleep in Christ, etc. Christ does refer to people being dead (Luke 9:60) as a contrast to following Him.
So if Christians are not dead, and we can ask a fellow Christian to pray for us, then we can ask a Christian who has passed on to pray for us. One might even speculate that those people are closer to the Lord than we and have a clear understanding (not through a glass, darkly, but face to face) and might help us better form our petitions to the Lord.
So long as nobody’s asking person X or angel Y to do something on their own but rather that the Lord do so; and thankfully this is how one finds such prayers — not ‘miserere nobis’ as one cries to Christ, but ‘ora pro nobis’ (pray for us).
As for praying for those deceased — again, no point praying for the lost. All Christians understand that Christ is the only salvation and that belief in Him is the only hope. Anything else follows that precondition, even if by assumption, ease of writing, laziness or any other cause they don’t overtly paste in the whole Creed as preface. That said, from over here one can’t be certain of person X’s eternal fate, regardless of what we overtly know of them. God knows all; I don’t. There may be ‘really good’ people who are lost and people we all assume were doomed that had saving grace.
Secondly we know from a variety of NT events ranging from the good thief who was to be in Paradise ‘that day’ to the aforementioned ‘asleep’ and even the martyrs still asking for justice in Revelations, that time here is not heavenly time. We also have the 1 Cor reference about people’s works being burned up and they saved “only as through fire.” There’s also the Malachi reference where people dead, in expectation of their resurrection, are prayed for. Lastly there’s a host of references to being first, or last, or one or another reward, in Heaven (even the same in 1 Cor for those whose work survives); so there’s some form of commensurate happening in Heaven.
So: it’s quite Biblical to expect there’s some process, whether you happen to think it conforms to the Catholic description of Purgatory, or even the much more specific Dante description of Purgatory, or is otherwise formed. And, we know that our time is not Heavenly time, and nobody’s come back over to tell us the exact mechanics relative to Earth time.
Anyway upshot: if a) one can pray for fellow believers; b) believers are not dead; and c) the process of salvation post-mortem is also Biblical, then one may pray to God on behalf of those persons. No guarantee of a yes, of course; but it’s a prayer, not a demand or an occult ritual.
Conversely the longer I’m around the more I think insisting on God conforming to our Earthly time and perceptions is seriously missing the concept. The Heavenly is the only true Real; here is a lesser world.
Sometimes I think that someone has prayed for me or the Lord is blessing me with some relief or possibly someone who has passed is praying for me aware of my misery and even gifting me with relief of physical pain. So although unsure who I have to give thanks for the relief. I wasn’t raised with any faith or knowledge of faith but ridicule for those afflicted with faith – indeed when I moved across country my friends begged me not to get involved with religion but I did. Unfortunately I am unchurched and busy with mundane tasks so I thank you for sharing in a way that confirms my experience living with a dying man who often feels his deceased family near and even had a visit from an angel recently – saved him from a dangerous fall and he rushed out of the bathroom quicker than ever seen because he wanted to speak with the man who helped him thinking that the man was with us in the living room. When we figured it out we felt blessed and encouraged not terrified that maybe the visitor was evil and non Biblical.

I saw the headline that she had died and it reminded me that she recently said she would only be alive for four more days … that seemed weirdly precise.
It never occurred to me that she was intending to take her own life.

I am truly sadden by this. I ask G-d to please consider her past of abuse since she was very young in His judgement. Some people’s lives are so filled with torment since they were toddlers that they are never in control of themselves, that they are possessed by their terrible past.
I ask the Lord to weigh these factors in His merciful judgement.
With said, with prez Trump in power and he is bringing justice to Epstein’s johns soon (I am guessing), then would not her suicide be a little too coincidental? In other words, she was killed to shut her up and it looks like a suicide.

I have no faith whatsoever in the justice of this world, but I know that God’s justice is perfect and holy.

This is extremely strange, especially given that there was a story, widely circulated within the last month, and reputedly posted by her on a social media platform, wherein she stated that she had been in a car crash, and somehow (the details were most hazy) had suffered renal failure and her doctors had given her FOUR days to live. Now, it is impossible to tell with any conviction whatsoever what has actually occurred. Was she suffering, in fact, from kidney failure and hence decided to commit suicide, or, had someone announced they were coming for her by placing a spurious story on a social media account? One cannot help but to wonder what happened to make her suicidal (if in fact it is a ‘suicide’) and if it is not a suicide, then why was she murdered now?
We have enough information, from people who had no reason to lie, that her story about renal failure and serious injuries from a car accident was fake.
She was photographed sans bruises and appearing healthy not long after that.
She was not allowed to see her children solo.
Everything points to her having a serious mental health crisis.
I see that video she made as a cry for help.

Nefarious entities have never remotely manipulated anyone’s mind & environment as prolonged torture to make them ‘look, act, & seem crazy’… induced “mental illness”… to discredit them… have they.
