Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name. Thy kingdom come. THY WILL BE DONE, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but DELIVER US FROM EVIL.
For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever and ever. Amen †

Agreed, regrettably when it comes to the “Old Testament” (I hate that description) all non-Hebrew readers/speakers, the vast majority of us, all suffer from incorrect translations, some deliberate and some from lack of knowledge (on the part of the translators). The end result being we only able to “receive” a limited amount of the deeper aspects of what is written. Sadly this has resulted in much “manipulation” by various bodies in order to suit their particular ideology over time. Jesus, who was well versed in the study knew this all too well as stated in Matthew 5:18. The “jot” and “stroke of a pen” refer to the smallest letters and parts of letters in the Hebrew alphabet. Each and every letter (the shape) has vast significance, both on its own and when used in combination with each and/or any other letter. Not to mention the various numerical values which in turn hint or point to other “combinations” and meanings. This is why I believe it critical that we learn from Jewish/Hebrew sources if we truly want to understand the real meaning and context. After all God spoke the creation into existence using the Hebrew language, gave us His commandments, and way of life by them. I’d hate Him to think we consider His word to be “old” and no longer relevant.
Christ is Risen!
Truly He is Risen!
I look forward an eternity of learning the depths of His riches and grace.
This is a superb book that correctly explains so much for Christians.

Gorgeous, good morning, Patience!
Good morning, Chris Hyde.
Apologies for the poor picture quality.
My pups have always assumed responsibility for grandkids when they have visited. These photos are 30+ and 20+ years old – but always bring a smile to my face. 😃 😊 😀

Leo Brouwer is world famous as a concert guitarist and, also, as a composer of classical guitar music. A few years he turned his attention to classical Beatles music and transcribed several songs for guitar. I happen to think they are exceptionally well suited for guitar performance. There are seven selection in this link. Hopefully choosing #1 will allow you to listen to all seven in sequence. Enjoy, Treeper friends . . . 🙂
Oh, just outstanding, Garrison 👍🏻☕💕 I doubt anyone ever thought all those years ago when McCartney and Lennon were so prolific that decades later their music (and lyrics) would be considered iconic for the age in which it was written. And so adaptable for orchestras. Can it possibly be that long ago?? Very, very satisfying performance…all of it. Not to mention quite a few memories which crept in 😌😘
And so CURSDAY!! Here come those precious friends without who fill our lives, from beginning to end, with so much companionship, love…and laughter. Surely as God intended 😌💕

Good morning Jazzy. Yes my Daisy, a Queensland Heeler, would find the freshest cow and or horse manure and roll in it. She was white with black speckles, green when she rolled. I would bathe her and try to keep her from getting in it again. Was not particularly successful though. So I have been there and done it many times!
Sorry, Jinxy not Jazzy. Need more coffee. Smiling

Morning, Miss P 😘☕
Thanks, Besty
-am enjoying it now (really; slurp)
Good morning Betsy. Again, you have presented us with wonderful “Cursday” images and photos. Thank you for all the time you spend finding all these treasures.
Its storming here this morning, so it’s rubber boots again today. Have the storms moved your way yet?
Also, Cleo my waif disappeared for 24 hours last month. I am convinced she was seeking romance, as she now appears to be pregnant. I am hoping she will become unafraid of me soon, as I probably only have possibly 4-5 weeks before the kittens come.
I am not surprised. Nature and instinct.
Have a blessed and wonderful “Cursday”.
Just back to see your beautiful message, apat. Thank you…it really is so much fun. Each week i worry I won’t be able to find more doggos. I should know better…theu are provided for me so I can share with everyone here.
We used to call oir female barn cats who would disappear “dirty stop outs” 😂 And of course litters came. I can’t wait to hear how many 😍!! 😘
😢
❤️ ❤️ 😊
Oh, Bets
That truly is an ACE of a brother! ❤️
Morning, Corny 😊☕ Well, if things don’t work out, at least we know who gains custody, right? 😁
Mornin’ Bets
So True! I get to see lots of sunrises. Kari & Kelli got me up @ 4. Let them out and they promptly plopped down on the porch to watch the world go by.
No human derriere has been on this outdoor loveseat in years!
Hahahahahaaaa!!! No human would dare! 😂 Gorgeous girls…can’t think of a better thing to do 💕
Good morning burrolady. Beautiful labs. I had a covered porch at the big ranch and never was able to sit on the benches around the porch.
Always occupied by the fur kids!
Have a blessed and wonderful “Cursday”.
Thanks, Pat
And, to you. Another beautiful day here, but, we are so short on rain. Very worrisome from a fire danger perspective, but in God’s good time. ❤️
Oh that is such a heartwarming photo. Thank you. Hope you get some rain soon.
Mornin’ Bet, love. For those of us who remember when the Beatles were “just” a very good rock band, the antiquity of this music is indeed a reminder of advancing age. So be it. I had a hell of a ride. Still am.
Brouwer’s transcriptions make these famous old standards sound fresh and new. I have met guitarist Martin Madrigal—nice guy.
Once after a concert we were walking and talking out to our cars in the parking lot (he’s from northern Mexico). Since this was Texas were “code switching” between English and Spanish is quite common, I laughingly said “Hasta’ Later!” His wife got the joke, laughed, and in response said . . . “Bueno bye”!
🎶-thank you 😎
Have a really good day, my man Garrison
-💞💖💞
Garrison,
Delightful!!!
Being of that age group that swooned when they appeared on Ed Sullivan, I still remember all the songs and lyrics, though I can’t remember lunch yesterday. My dad, though not a Beatles fan, enjoyed orchestral renditions of their many songs and would listen to them with me (and whistle along!). A lovely memory. ❤️
Oh you have brought back a memory for me as well. Of the same age group. Also swooned over the Beatles. Dad was stationed at the Philadelphia Navy Yard when they were to appear in Philadelphia. He said he didn’t like them, but came home one day with three tickets to see them in concert for his three young teen daughters, the old softie! Great memory.
Side note: My mom had another baby, a girl when I was 14 years old and when my little sister was in high school, their music class showed a movie of the Beatles concert in Philadelphia and my sister looked and said OMG those three girls in the front row swooning are my sisters! LOL
What a story.
Maybe you three are here (?)
https://duckduckgo.com/?q=beatles+in+philedolfia&t=iphone&ia=videos&iax=videos&iai=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DqjbCK5AO7HQ
Good evening Patience. I checked out all the different videos of Philadelphia concert. I could not find my sisters and I. Should have been easier as I am a twin, so there would have been two of us looking alike and then my younger sister right with us. Was dark in a lot of the videos. Thanks for posting these videos. Lots of memories for this senior of her early teen years.
Oh, Pat
What a fantastic memory. Brought a tear to my eye. ❤️
Excellent! Thanks Garrison, and here’s to a peaceful and pleasant day for you and your furry sidekick Tink.
😎
Had my final eval with my eye surgeon. She said surgery (for cataracts) looked great. Last night I needed to run an errand and did so when it was full dark (1st time in years). Everything felt normal, navigated thick night time traffic with bright headlights, etc. No problems at all. It’s great to to not have to depend on others when I need to run simple errands. Little ‘Tink is, of course, her ever so attentive self.
And to think she was feral for the past four years and has recently become a “cat” who loves to curl up in my lap. (!!!)
Great news Garrison!!! I hear that everything looks brighter too….especially colors. 😀
That’s a great report, Garrison. If we all voted on it I’d say the ‘eyes’ have it.
PS – We too have a formerly stray kitty who only recently began cuddling up to me at night. “Phoebe” is a 12 yr old mostly Siberian female – per the Vet who checked her out thoroughly last August after we gently caught her. She’s relatively tiny – only about 7.5 lbs and that’s mostly fur. But ….she has a “15 lb. purr”… 😎
🙂 love the “15 lb purr” 🙂
I am so glad you are seeing so well and the eye surgery was so successful and no complications Garrison. Isn’t it amazing how much clearer you see after cataract surgery!
I am hoping that my little feral cat “Cleo” will warm up to me soon. She disappeared for 24 hours last month and now she looks like she is going to have kittens. I will just keep praying and have faith she will warm up to me, so I can take care of her and the kittens.
Have a wonderful evening.
What a pretty girl. God is a great artist.
Whoa!
Wow that is really a beautiful tree carving. Thank you.
Israel Update:
Gaza: So I see some 20-60 killed in Gaza about daily. The attacks are Intel based so there must be some growth in Israel’s Intelligence work in Gaza to be able to provide so many targets. Many of the terrorists are either underground or in tents, command and control in hospitals and schools. Since the end of the ceasefire there are about 1,600 Gazans killed of which a few hundreds are known terrorists.
The IDF is going after the terrorists even if they are in tents with their families so we see wives and children killed too. A hospital was evacuated a month ago and attacked, a previous school that was turned into Hamas command center was targeted a couple of days ago. Hamas propaganda is all about “Israel targeting civilians”.
Israel is moving very slow in Gaza. Since the ceasefire ended only one solider was killed and some 5 badly wounded in an ambush a couple of days ago. The overall strategy of Hamas is to hide and relocate with civilians and wait for a deal when they can emerge alive.
Israel surrounded Rafah and the Israeli publications are of orders “to destroy the Hamas Brigade of Rafah”. Yet from what I saw from reporters who had access on the ground, there are only about a hundred or a couple terrorists left there and most have already left.
But what is obvious from videos is that the IDF is flattening large areas of Rafah and turning them into a buffer zone. This is in part a suggestion of the Trump plan of relocating (making no place to come back to) and the threats of annexing lands. I see a large number of bulldozers there going systematically and flattening the structures, I will post a video after this update. This is also happening in other areas that are on the other side of Gaza (The North). There are some 2.5 Divisions in action while a massive serious invasion should be 6 Divisions and a massive call for Reservists.
Some Reservists lost jobs and money after almost a year or even more in War.
One reporter in Rafah was told that the battalion there have only 60% Reservists showing up. I estimate that it’s more but it’s not optimum. In a major call you will see more attending,
a higher %. After 10/7 we had over 100% attending, some who were not on the roll calls attended too.
So Bibi is about slowly increasing pressure by expanding the buffer areas and flattening them and turning them free of any infrastructure. Hamas is not impressed and still playing the “All or nothing” line of negotiations. Things are way too slow.
Today there was an argument between the new Chief of Staff and some parliament members. Chief of Staff refused to have the IDF distribute the humanitarian aide (in the future, there is no flow of aide now). He wants others to do it, like an American company which did a job there before and is not reliable as they employ Gazans. If the aide will be in Hamas hands then we can’t win the war as it’s their main income source. There is some friction between the Political level to the Military on this subject. Hamas sells the aide.
Who controls the food controls the people. At the moment there is no aide but the Chief of Staff refuses to starve the population. Some in Israel claim that the aide should be conditioned on releasing hostages. I am personally strongly against starving a population and agree on this point with the Chief of Staff. But I think that the IDF should distribute the food. The Aide will only be available at designated safe zones. Starvation is unethical and will not pass worldwide, I am sure that Bibi will not try to starve the population. At the moment they spread fake videos about starvation but they still have enough aide for a month or two.
Today another Parliament member who was previously a Minister of Defense (Liberman) said that Israel is still providing them water and some financial channels. If this is true then it’s bad. Water should be restricted to safe zones and money should be zero. But it’s questionable if true. I estimate that some water does go in.
So basically we are at a “pressure phase” with slow motion and not enough pressure.
I can only hope that there are good plans of how to defeat Hamas.
I see now diplomatic pressure through Egypt to disarm Hamas and end the war.
Hamas is strongly against disarming. We didn’t make it clear to them that they should.
There is no alternative viable solution yet aside for a temporary military occupation until an option arises.
There are some slow motions of moving Gazans through Israel to Europe and other places (not the US). Yesterday 120 flew to France under an academic visa. Earlier a coupe of hundreds to Indonesia for work visa. Israel is clearly interested but no serious action is taking place in the open. It looks like they are working in it.
So overall I am critical of Bibi on how slow he is dealing with the problem. There is some talk about targeting Senior Terrorists in Qatar or abroad. This is a threat to increase pressure but should have been done long ago regardless of anything.
Trump is about to do a trip to Saudi Arabia, Qatar and UAE. They may persuade him to change his mind and have a more pro Arab stand, that helps to save Hamas.
Bibi is wasting a valuable “Trump time”, ie support.
-A dramatic decision in Jordan to make The Muslim Brotherhood illegal.
This follows some arrests of 16 or so terrorists who were building rockets in order to attack Israel from Jordan. They were affiliated and instructed by Hamas.
In the background remember that Hamas is an offshoot of The Muslim Brotherhood and over 50% of Jordan’s population are from Palestinian descent. Also the strongest party in their parliament is a strong voice for Hamas. But Jordan is not a democracy, the King decides. The Palestinians and Muslim Brotherhood are endangering his rule.
I am pretty sure that he looked at Syria and realized how fast the Islamists can topple his rule. And the truth is that Jordan can fall in a day. There are more Islamists than loyalists of the King. There is an overall shift in the Arab world, the Shia and Iranian alliance was greatly weakened and the Sunnis and Muslim Brotherhood became strong.
The Muslim Brotherhood believe in a Muslim World, they oppose borders and nations.
They are pragmatic, which means they do what they can do to obtain their goals.
In every place they have another operation. Hamas is one way, Syria is another, Turkey and Qatar are all related, in the West they use liberties to spread Islam and Hamas propaganda.
–Iran: Trump had a long talk with Bibi and tweeted that “they are in agreements on all subjects”.
(Iran, Gaza, tariffs).
The main question is Iran. There is an internal conflict in the US of what to do.
As of now it appears that the Iranians managed to manipulate Witkoff and he is no longer demanding them to dismantle the nuclear sites. He is heading to an Obama 2 deal. Israel is pushing back on it and sent the Head of Mossad and another representative to talk with him so maybe he will change.
Limiting the % of enrichment but keeping the centrifuges so they can do whatever they want in the future is not what we want. Also no demands as to Iran’s stop of war activities in the Middle East. It doesn’t look good now but Trump listens and it can all change.
I was concerned about Mr. Witkoff. I told you.
I also know that the US Military is for a strike on Iran’s nuclear sites.
In the past couple of weeks there is a massive traffic of US cargo planes landing in Israel.
A lot of defensive missiles and preparation for a possible confrontation with Iran.
Also munitions for the IDF.
So who knows. Maybe the Trump plans are not what we think they are. Maybe he is serious about giving Iran a limited time to decide. As far as I know the deadline was in May.
–Lebanon: In the past week some 9 terrorists eliminated mainly in South Lebanon.
Some 40 iHezbollah nfrastructure structures were destroyed. This shows that they are still trying to rebuild and re-establish. Also shows the IDF is acting strongly against it.
The US is showing a strong alignment with the Israeli position and is pressuring Lebanon government to disarm Hezbollah. The government is sending signals as if they want to do it and doing it but it is likely false PR as they don’t have the power to do it and everything they do is coordinated with Hezbollah. The US said it will not help them financially if they don’t disarm Hezbollah. But things could change and there is a decrease of Hezbollah’s ability to dominate Lebanon as it was in the past. The Hezbollah is weaker and decided to hold off and rebuild.
May God bless Israel and the US.
Shalom.
YOU’RE BACK!!!!! 😀
You and your wonderful “Israel Recap” were greatly missed these past few days. Please don’t give up on us – even though there are a few that can be most unpleasant. We are working on weeding them out.
Agree…May God bless Israel along with the USA…Shalom.
God’s chosen. I support Israel.
Thank you. I appreciate your comment a lot!
When things are not changing and I feel it’s gloomy I sometimes wait for news.
It is not the people here that bother me. I love most of you on the open thread.
I will keep going every few days or when things happen.
Love you, Ad rem!!!
good to hear.
❤️ 🇺🇸 🇮🇱 ❤️ David: Amen to all your prayers. I am so glad you are here with us today.
I know today is Yom HaShoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day).
It is a very sad, solemn, and serious Day for all Jews (and especially Israelis) to remember, reflect, be inspired to challenge head-on**, and recommit to fighting antisemitism, anti-Zionism, anti-Israel sentiments and vile hatred in all their horrific forms.
**As you are doing so COURAGEOUSLY and WELL here, David.
I am so inspired by your steadfast honest reporting in your “Israel Update” despite what I sense is a deep sadness, especially today,
**********************************
I am also very concerned about Iran.
Not enough Americans realize that we in the USA are ALSO in danger from a nuclear attack from Iran and/or its proxies.
I also don’t trust Envoy Witkoff. I truly hope I am wrong on him.
**********************************
😃 🇮🇱 🇺🇸 😃 I’m glad Ambassador Huckabee is finally there in Israel.
Ambassador Huckabee LOVES Israel and has brought many people to see and experience Israel since he first visited as a 16-year-old in 1973 and was awestruck.
He spoke the other day in Jerusalem about PDJT’s prayer for Peace in Israel which Ambassador Huckabee placed in the Western Wall as his first official act upon arriving.
He also shared that his favorite part of leading tours to Israel was watching people see it all for the first time.
I love how Israel has already said to him, “Welcome Home.”
**********************************
❤️ Gentle reminder: we LOVE you and CHERISH you, David. ❤️

Are the serious fires in the Rehovot area contained yet?
That’s a more populated area — with Tel Aviv nearby — than the fires last year, correct?

Israel, her Leaders, the USA, her Leaders, the Hostages, their families and friends, and all the good guys around the World.
Amen 🙏
🇮🇱 🎶 🇮🇱 ”Am Yisrael CHAI!” = “The People of Israel LIVE!” 🇮🇱 🎶 🇮🇱
Thank you so much! Amen!
I don’t see anything about the fires today so I assume it’s under control.
Attached here a short video of the YAMAM (Israel’s top Counter Terror unit of the Border Police) with a Holocaust survivor. At the background is the prayer: “Hear, O Israel, the L-rd is our G‑d, the L-rd is One.”

🇮🇱 💪 ☺️ ❤️ 😢 ❤️ 🥲 💪 🇮🇱 So touching and so beautiful!
You are so very WELCOME, David.
You are such a special and wise GIFT in my life.
❤️
David: The “strategy” (if there is one) of “slowly increasing the pressure” continues to prolongue the war. You mentioned 6 divisions for a big push. I would say 10, at least. Israel never went “all out” in Gaza. There seems to be more concern for Israel’s economy than for its security. Maybe that’s being realistic, but, everyone in Israel has suffered.
6 Divisions is plenty. All the IDF has is about 11 Divisions. Some have to be protecting the other borders, Judea and Samaria, Lebanon, Syria, Internal Security.
You’re right it should be all out. The problem is the hostages. That is the reason for the slow strategy.
They think that more pressure enables more chance for them to cut a deal. Going all out is kind of giving up on the hostages. It’s not an economic decision. But Israeli economy is doing surprisingly well. Once it’s an all out war it will be hard to stop for a deal. We are talking about the “bring everyone home” tradition of Israel. A soldier in Israel knows that if they fall hostage Israel will do its most to release him/her. I know it’s a bit exaggerated as strategy should be about winning the war more than anything and it’s not exactly so. But also many of the soldiers will have lesser motivation if not all efforts were done to cut a deal. So Bibi takes that into consideration too.
Good morning David. Thank you for the update, as we do not get the truth, if we get any news, from our horrid media here. I look forward to getting the real news from you. I missed you for a few days and understand when you don’t get us the latest right away. Shalom and have a blessed day.
Thank you. The media in Israel is as bad as the media in the US if not worse. I have to dig through a lot of sources to write an update. The least is the main stream media.
David thank you as always. Look for the light in all things. Force yourself especially when you are down and gloomy. God is with us always. His light is calming and uplifting at the same time. God bless the US and Israel! Shalom 🙏🏽❤️
❤️
Your talk about safe zones is interesting. If the Palestinians are offered food and water in these areas then maybe the IDF needs to expand the safe zones and keep them clear of Hamas.
It would seem a great way to bring the Palestinians a new message of hope for the future (talk them into a deportation), help with médical needs and propagandize with help in turning over Hamas terrorist/bad guys. Seems like a win win situation. Division of the population of Palestinians can only help Israel recognize further gains. One can only wonder if there are already plans laid out for something similar at least. 🤷🏼♂️
Yes. There are going to be safe zones. We had them before.
It’s hard to tell who is Hamas or a terrorist in the zones.
I believe that most would deport if anyone accepted them.
The problem is that the Arab world likes them to be a knife on Israel’s throat and wouldn’t take any of them.
There are efforts to find recipients.
David,
Your incredible efforts to keep us educated and informed are appreciated more than you can ever know. Your perspective is first person: as opposed to our filtered and twisted versions here. You are an amazing resource and an indefatigable friend. ❤️

Happy Cursday…when even my coffee needs a coffee…oh wait, that’s Monday! Some cute observations from my other sheltie clan:
Good instinct. Mine, not so much.
Am contemplating taking “Sheepdog” off of my older one’s papers…LOL…sniffed noses with the sheep and then walked away to sniff the ground. He totally ignored them.
The two sheep were the shepherd’s standby good sheep for the dogs learning….I think the sheep were confused when the dog walked away.
It was always hilarious watching our border collie, Sweety, try to herd our 5 cats. After awhile cats and border collie figured out that they’d turned her hearding “work” into a game.
Good morning Aggiegirl. That was interesting and fun. Border collies are also fun to watch when someone is training them. I think they also have that instinct bred into them.
Have a wonderful and blessed Thursday.
Good morning Patty. Thank you for the videos. That first horse was so well trained. I had a great laugh watching the antics.
Loved the race horse and the little girl with faith. Just shows that if you have faith, your dreams can become reality.
Have a very blessed day.
Thanks. Did you notice how gorgeous that horse is? It is a bay with black mane and a white tail. I’ve never seen seen a horse with different color mane and tail.
Yes I did notice that. Did you see the white splotch on its withers? Bays are beautiful horses. With the white tail, splotch on withers and legs I would venture to guess there might be some paint horse in his pedigree. Just so much fun to watch that video. Thank you again for all the horse videos you bring here.
Good morning all!
Day before yesterday I did some grocery shopping, and got a hair cut. I stocked up on soda since Meijer was having a buy two, get one free sale on a lot of popular brands in 12 packs. Stocked up on water and bought a 4- lb. bag of dog food. I also filled up four each 5 gallon cans for lawn mowing gas and topped off the FJ.
I trim mowed and weed wacked the yard.
Yesterday
I went to Menards and bought two raised gardening containers and assembled one. I have to go back before I assemble the other because a bag of parts was missing. I hate it when that happens. I know you have to look to be sure your getting everything you buying when you buy that kind of thing! I also bought a 6′ long garden hose extension so I can hook up my hose and keep the reel box it is in away from the exhaust side of the new generator.
I stopped by Meijer again and bought two Porterhouse steaks and two packs of beef short ribs. Ribs went in the freezer, the steaks got marinated and I grilled them for dinner.
I got on the zero turn and mowed the yard also. Despite already having the trimming done that took the better part of 2 hours because I mowed in a diagonal pattern this time.
Today I plan to power wash the new and old walks. I will spray the old walk with “30 seconds” cleaner and let it sit for time, then hit it with my highest pressure nozzle on the power washer. I’m told that will make the old walk look like it was just poured.
Then I’ll do what ever parts of the house siding that needs to be cleaned. One of the downsides of feeding birds is that inconsiderate guests that are not potty trained.
Love Menard’s.
https://www.youtube.com/shorts/ZrZyJU_9sWQ
I forget to mention that I will change nozzles on the power washer before doing the house.

Ah… yes. You are correct, I inadvertently entered a different email address.

OK! My oldest Granddaughters Grandmother from the other side passed away a month ago.
The house sits on two lots. It is nothing special, just a nice 3 bedroom that is located in a desirable neighborhood, the same one I grew up in after age 7.
Corbin and her Dad worked hard getting the place cleaned up and ready to go on the market. That included taking care of dead fall and a downed tree from a tornado that went through during the last outbreak here in Indiana.
It went on the market last week. They already have two cash offers over the asking price.
Those offers are from rental companies. That’s the way the real estate market is here now.
Good morning rah. This doesn’t surprise me. People can not afford to buy right now so are looking for homes to rent. I am not sure about here in Texas how the market is, although I do see quite a few for rent signs outside of homes.
One thing I have noticed is the for sale signs on homes are up a very short time, then gone. Not sure if they are bought to use as rentals or bought to be owned and used as their residence.
Have a very blessed day.
Suspect the rental companies are just proxies for the banks. IDK how to find how many rentals are owned by the banks now but I think probably more than they want us to know. They’re strategic about it. Properties all around me have been in distress (the owners) in recent years. At one point we were frightened to be the only residents surrounded by empty properties. The banks got many of the houses and fixed some for sale and others for rent but I really believe that the banks have them all and just break it up to make it look like we aren’t as economically devastated as we really are. My weekly “junk mail” was just the smallest ever – not even Val-pak with the lure of a $100 check inside. I view that as a valid indicator of the economic truth.
Thanks for the response. That particular scenario did not cross my mind, but could very well be.
I’ll bet I get at least twice a week notes or small letters asking if I’m interested in selling my home. I do not know where they get my P.O. Box and where they get the idea I would be interested in selling my home. I need some kind of “Pest Control” in my mail box! Yes that is a good indicator of the economic truth. Have a wonderful day.
I forgot about those val-paks!! 🙂
Just filling the tires!
Tesla Owner Mistakes Air For Propane 😳
I can not believe they did not see that it was propane. What is frightening is they live among us and really are quite dangerous to be around.
good thing they didn’t have the right valve-stem adapter
They need to crack down hard and fast on such morons now, before this becomes a thing.
@ImMeme0
Karens were fighting ICE agents after they nabbed an illegal migrant as he was leaving the courtroom.
Problem is they don’t arrest them. There is no accountability for their unlawful actions against the ice agents or other immigration agents. Maybe if they did arrest a few and lock them up, they might think twice about it.
Also, until an illegal attacks them or one of their loved ones and rapes, hurts or murders them, they might change their tune, but I don’t think that would even change their attitude. They are brainwashed and ignorant from the time they go to school in our public system with the crazies they hire as teachers now.
Problem: sailors can’t get to their boats
How would you handle this situation? Leave a comment!
I’m not sure how I would handle this situation. Can not help but wonder how they are handling this in California.
Do you know what they are trying to do to assist these boat owners? If you find some information, please let us know. I am definitely curious.
Heavy metal full blast?
Hmmmm, that might work. Smiling.

Eugene Stoner
(1922-1997)
American firearms designer and inventor of the M16, dies of cancer at 74
Biography: Eugene Stoner was an American firearms designer, best known for developing the AR-15 rifle, which was later adapted into the military M16 and M4 Carbine rifles. His work has had a significant impact on the design of modern infantry weapons, particularly in the United States, where his designs have been widely adopted by both military and civilian firearms users.
Stoner’s career in firearms design began after World War II, when he started working in the aviation industry. His knowledge of lightweight aircraft materials would later be instrumental in his firearms designs, which often utilized alloys and plastics to reduce weight without sacrificing strength.
His first significant design was the AR-10 battle rifle in the late 1950s, a lightweight, gas-operated rifle that used advanced materials and manufacturing techniques. While the AR-10 did not achieve commercial success, it laid the groundwork for the AR-15. Introduced in the early 1960s, the AR-15 was lighter and smaller than its predecessor, firing a new, smaller caliber .223 round. The rifle was ultimately adopted by the U.S. military as the M16, which has remained in service in various forms to the present day.
After the success of the AR-15/M16, Stoner continued his work in firearms design, contributing to several other notable projects including the Stoner 63 weapons system and the Future Assault Rifle Concept (FARC). He worked in the firearms industry up until his death in 1997.
Stoner ?? I thought you were talking about this guy….
Wand: Excellent video. Unique man. I read that he tested his M-16 design up in Topanga Canyon, which is off the Pacific Coast Highway, between Pacific Palisades and Malibu.
I hear that testing site may be available again for some reason. <groan> even if bit sarcastic … too bad it is reality.
Profound presence, no nastiness please:
Yesterday I was Blessed to get to watch the hummingbirds come and go. Just a couple hours ago the Eastern whippoorwills have re-roosted outside my window much to the dog’s chagrin. The cats can’t wait to get outside and find out what kind of delicious critter makes such a racket.
Good morning Jinxy. Love to watch the hummingbirds, their feeder is outside my office window, so get to watch them quite often. You are fortunate to have whippoorwills roosting outside your window.
I now have a pair of roadrunners nesting somewhere on my property I see them often running around searching for goodies to eat.
I have a Carolina wren that makes a nest every year under the cover of my propane tank. I see them fliting in and out of it all the time. Also when I get my hanging baskets planted with flowers, I will have another pair of wrens make a nest in those. Won’t need propane now, as it has quite a bit left in it. Until the cold weather kicks in again, they will be undisturbed for their nesting season.
I’ve not seen the painted bunting yet this year, but I am hoping they return this year.
Bird watching has been my passion since I was a little girl. Have a very blessed day.
Dem Senator Summed Up His Feelings About Iran in Three Words
During an interview earlier today with the Washington Free Beacon, Democratic Senator John Fetterman stated that the Trump administration should drop the ongoing nuclear talks with Iran and launch military strikes against their nuclear facilities.
“Waste that shit,” said Fetterman,
with him adding “You’re never going to be able to negotiate with that kind of regime that has been destabilizing the region for decades already, and now we have an incredible window, I believe, to do that, to strike and destroy Iran’s nuclear facilities.”

Mornin’ Patience
Just finished feeding our crew. Letting the burros “out” now. They have about 4 acres they call their own, but on days we’re staying home and not expecting company, they’re allowed to roam everywhere else – except inside our straw bale walls where all my flowering plants and vegetable gardens reside. Roses are their favorite. They can take one to the root in 5 minutes!
There’s a button (like a doorbell) on a post that opens the electric gate on your way out of here – they learned to open it and let themselves out. A Major catastrophe!
So we’ve installed a cover that they have not learned to open – Yet!
I hate that Demonrats use a donkey as their symbol – mine are smarter than all of them together! ❤️

—and those lashes; wow
It’s said that ‘pets’ take on owner’s traits; lil smarties.
It is a problem when they figure out how to get through a gate.
Had a mare that could open every gate, in every pasture. Used her lips like fingers. Bad part was she taught all her foals how to do it! They are so smart, it is sometimes scary!
Agree, too bad the dems can’t use the DoDo bird as their symbol, it is more their style than the smart donkey!

One time, a friend of mine sent her cowboy son-in-law to lasso and bring them back! So grateful.
Good evening burrolady. I’ll bet he enjoyed every minute doing it too! I love to watch the cowboys lasso horses, donkeys, cows and calves. I’ve seen them lasso llamas too. Have a great evening.
So cute. That little dog is quite happy about something.
THE NIH RESEARCH RACKET
MARK OSHINSKIE
APR 24, 2025
“…NIH’s website notes that it’s the world’s biggest source of medical research money. Of its total 2025 $50 billion budget, it will disburse $41.5 billion—mostly to universities but also to other entities—to fund medical research. NIH allocates $5.3 billion more to fund its own, intramural research. The remaining $3.2 billion covers NIH administration. Ten years ago, NIH’s total budget was $30 billion.
Reviewing NIH’s very long grant list reveals that most NIH-sponsored research is arcane and/or sociopolitically driven. Generally, it’s research to beget more research. Published studies characteristically end with “…but further study is needed.”
NIH divides its research budget among 60,000 grantees, most of whom are university faculty whose continued employment requires them to procure “soft money.” Even without NIH subsidies, universities are very wealthy. In relation to their student enrollments, colleges have disproportionately high numbers of highly-paid administrators and faculty. Dozens of colleges’ endowments exceed $10 billion; Harvard alone controls $53 billion. Shrewdly invested, these sums grow about 10 percent/year. Colleges pay none of the taxes on such income that wage earners pay. Some call today’s universities “hedge funds at which you can take classes.”
