I’m a dual U.S./Italian citizen and fluent in both English and Italian. I listened to the exchange twice. The only phrase that Meloni did not communicate in her English language comments was along the lines that, “obviously it was Putin who invaded” but that they are all working to resolve the war.. She did not disrespect our President or the American people. In Fact, had she said, “well, the CIA/US caused the war” which of course she knows to be the case, that would have played into the media’s hands. All the rest of her comments in Italian were about the NATO % and were communicated in English. She jumped in because her translator got nervous. Meloni has, on multiple occasions, stated that Russia was the aggressor in Italian and in English. She was not deceitful, she was speaking to her country, which is largely unaware of the truth about the war, thanks to USAiD’s global media influence and spending.

Also, it’s hard to hear in the recording, but the journalist specifically asks if he can ask Meloni a question “in Italiano” – even though he spoke English. This was the first clue of the set up.

Exactly my point – she yields to the Big Lie, just to avoid controversy in her media. Technically yes the Russian forces “invaded” Ukraine…technically. It was a defensive move to attempt to halt the encroachment of NATO offensive weapons (missiles) into Ukraine – on Russias border, within less than 300 air miles of Moscow city center.
Does President Trump do that – twist the truth (lie) to avoid controversy with the Media? Absolutely not. He uses the truth as a bludgeon to keep hammering the Fake News – he called them out directly using that name in this video. After running the Italian Presstitutes questions and Meloni’s answers through transcription software, then translation software a couple times, I agree with St Michael here.
Meloni was asked if she spoke with President Trump about “his blaming the Ukraine war on Zelensky” and did they discuss the 2% Nato commitment/request by Trump Admin for Europe to spend more than 2% on their defense. She begins by answering that Italy was on track to meet the 2% figure by the next NATO /summit/meeting and the importance at this time for Europe to increase defense spending. Then she talks abt Ukraine. She told the Italian presstitute that he well knows her position, which is Putin/Russia attacked Ukraine. She said she did not speak to President Trump about who started it, but that they are working together to create a lasting peace and that is what was discussed today.
That translator was not very good. (not sure whether she was Our translator, or the Italians translator -but it seems she was Ours -sitting close to the Italian subject) It seems to me the nervous translator likely got the answers out of order to her notes – since Meloni answered the Nato question first – but the translator started in the order the questions came from the Italian Presstitute. Meloni was fidgeting and clearly frustrated with the translator which makes her appear guilty of subterfuge. The translator if fumbling & bumbling from the beginning. Meloni eventually interjects with the answer to the NATO question. Meloni also never addresses the answer to the Putin/Zelensky- who started it question- in English. So President Trump did not get to hear it in English from Meloni’s mouth thanks to the shitty presstitutes and the nervous/(maybe)shitty translator.

The substance of the translation, if accurate/that I heard, was that Italy was meeting its commitment to reach (maybe exceed) its 2% obligation for NATO funding.
The conversation also drifted into accountability for INITIATING the Ukraine War – with the focus being on Zelensky. PDJT corrected the media walk-in by asserting that he never accused Zelensky of starting the war. He then listed the items he did hold Zelensky accountable for – especially the human and physical carnage.
Pretty funny that he sensed the game being played immediately and, absent anger (i.e., previous meeting with the Big Z), got the presser back on course without incident.
PDJT laid responsibility directly on Biden (and by inference really meant Obama). He used a phrase similar to “the guy who sat here”.

If the chatter is correct, PDJT is embarking on a ballsy master strategy to rescue the American economy from an immense economic debacle. The ride will be very turbulent, per these prognosticators, and cause very significant economic losses, especially for holders of wealth like Wall Street types (the wealthiest 10% of Americans own 84% of all shares held by households). The argument is that people like Warren Buffet already anticipated what is coming by selling off large amounts of equities starting over a year ago.
