I don’t mean to be ‘spooky’ here but these accounts and the later accounts of the risen Christ (e.g., Luke 24, in its entirety) are echoed in later writers such as C.S. Lewis (Shadowlands, Narnia’s “The Last Battle”) and elsewhere. Lewis perhaps dwells on it more than some — “You have never talked to a mere mortal.”
People talk of ‘redpills’ thinking back to the 1999 Matrix movie but the real situation is far more serious and more joyful than that — really worth a long settle to consider what a “fallen world” is (and 1 Cor 13:12). I’m not any better than any other in this but on this Palm Sunday of the Lord’s Passion considering what He knew to be true even as he experienced it as one of us, being hailed and knowing what lay after, is truly humbling.
All of creation testifies,
this life within me cries,
I know my Redeemer lives.

Here in our weakness You find us, falling before Your Throne. . .
I put together a map to show what is going on in Gaza. The arrows are all the forces of the IDF who are operating concurrently at Gaza.
As you can see, unlike the past when the IDF moved from place to place, now it’s everywhere around. The arrows are a bit too long but it shows direction.
After the deal was done the IDF moved and stayed in about 1 KM (0.6 Miles) around and inside Gaza. The IDF is now pushing into Gaza all around and the idea is to let Hamas understand that we are taking lands which will add to a buffer zone with a potential of annexation.
There is nothing they hate more than a loss of land. The forces are not very large and this is not yet the “Hell” that was threatened with.
The IDF didn’t lose any soldier since the end of the ceasefire. They lost about 1,500. I can tell that Hamas is strategically avoiding confrontations and the IDF is killing leaders of the governing operations of Hamas, also I saw a list of 11 participants in 10/7 and all kinds of Intel based targets like the Battalion Commander of Rafah, etc… Some of the targeted Hamas Commanders are taken out at their homes with their families and the IDF is also after Command and Control locations.
Overall the strategy is of expanding the controlled zones slowly. Almost all the targeted areas are getting evacuation orders in advance so it’s all about lands and not people that the IDF is advancing. They locate their Command and Controls in Schools and Hospitals and sensitive locations. So yesterday for example a small hospital got an evacuation order and was taken out from the air. Again the people were not targeted.
It’s all about hostages and therefore we didn’t call in the massive Reservist Forces. The IDF knows that it will move out again if we have another deal.
So there is minimal risk to soldiers as we move in small increments everywhere.
Now there is one exception. Look at the map. Between The Philadelphi Corridor and the newly created Morag Corridor there is the Rafah City. It’s not showing on the map but I am telling you. The IDF is surrounding Rafah and is intending to crush the Rafah Brigade.
This also enables to have better access to tunnels which may connect Rafah to Egypt and Rafah to Kahn Yunis City. Khan Yunis is another major City.
It is clearing South Gaza. It will enable fast advance even if we withdraw on a deal as the Morag Corridor is getting flattened and a lot of engineering work is making it into a road and a barrier.
Once we understand that there are no more deals then the Reservists will be called in and all Hell will break.
Also Israel waited for after Passover (was some hours ago), we let families celebrate Passover before any massive call in of Reservists.
I know you’re not a Military strategist but this should give a good idea of what is going on strategically.

-12 Telegram Channels. Only one is in English. One is an Israeli Doctor a few are known journalists that I know.
They all post direct quotations of the Speaker of the IDF daily. He is saying what the IDF is doing in detail. They post all the related videos, Trump on Israel, Bibi, Defense Minister, War footage from Middle East, and some extra interesting interviews and footage. Each has their own angle, one is main steam journalist who is also Right wing and reliable, he is more into Israeli matters, one is all footage of the damage the IDF is doing Arab media footage, one is a major Right Wing Influencer who makes you all pissed off about the left, one is an analyst right wing who is critical of Bibi and the leadership of the IDF but he sees things that others miss, one is a more of a military analyst, one is trying to be a Christian Influencer and I avoid his religion but he has a lot of good videos on what is going on and good analysis.
-One Israeli YouTube channel which is doing what I am doing but longer and more detail. He sticks to IDF Official reports of where they are operating and what they say are the results.
-One Israeli YouTube Channel that invites ex-Generals and Political figures and Intel figures from the Rights.
-One YouTube channel that has an expert which goes over hot subjects daily. He is also invited to some TV channels.
-One Israeli TV Channel.
-Three news Websites (Israeli). Main Stream.
The trick and value of what I am doing is to screen opinions from facts. To avoid agenda and pull facts only.
It’s not always possible but I am doing my best. And if it’s opinion I state it as such. Even the Speaker of the IDF has agenda so if he says “A Hamas Battalion collapsed” for example, I am questioning it and would rarely report because they still can rebuild easily. But he says where they operate and which Israeli Divisions and Brigades are involved and where. Those are facts. So my map here is based on the exact locations where the ground forces are operating and one of my Telegram Channels a good journalist put together the map and I translated and improved it to be clear.
Also from all the channels I listen to what the Prime Minister has to say, the Defense Minister and any decision makers.
I forgot that I also follow in Fox News General Kaine which has the best grasp of the war from my experience. I see it on YouTube.
It’s a lot of work but I am very fast in an hour I can go through it all and another hour or less to put together a report. Most of what I see repeats itself in almost all the channels that I use.

What a terrific evening my family had, as last night we were invited to celebrate a Passover
Meal with friends of ours who have embraced Messianic Judaism.
Passover is celebrated on the new moon of the 14th of Nissan (Jewish Calendar). Amazing to watch the pink moon rise as we sat down to celebrate Passover.
The meal and all of the Jewish customs that go along with the celebration are truly amazing. There are 15 steps to the meal as there were 15 steps up to the temple. Four cups are served that represent four aspects of the Passover and Exodus night. The last cup represents the return of the Messiah and full restoration of Israel. It left untouched, as we also did last night. This cup is the one that Jesus declared he would not drink until he drank it with his disciples in His kingdom. My son just was so amazed as we drove him. He said that he could just imagine Jesus pointing to the last cup at the table as He uttered those words.
It was the third sacrificial cup that He would have enjoyed with his disciples at the Last Supper. Instead of the lamb, He was the sacrificial offering. That would have been the cup that He shared.
How exciting to see the last cup that remains untouched and know that at the Marriage Supper of the Lamb it will be drunk with Jesus in His established kingdom.
Another fascinating aspect is that a spot at the table is set for Elijah in the remembrance that he will come before the return of the Messiah.
What a disservice we have done by disconnecting ourselves from the Jewish feasts. In my opinion, the church should celebrate each feast with a desire to see God’s message expressed through the symbols and events of the feasts. How rich are the take aways.

My daughter went to a Messianic Jewish church while she worked in California.
A Protestant church let the Messianic congregation meet on Saturday,
while the Protestant congregation meet on Sunday.
It was interesting listening to the Rabbi who brought in more Old Testament,
history, language & culture into his New Testament sermons.
Some families invited my daughter to a Passover seder.
One Messianic Jew she met at a regional meeting, Arnold Fruchtenbaum
Born in 1943 in Siberia, Russia. Eventually he moved to the US.
He received Orthodox Jewish training from his father,
but at age 13 he accepted Jesus as the Messiah.
After graduating from high school, Arnold was forced by his father to leave home.

Yesterday I went on a training hike with a hiking club from Portland Oregon. There was about 25 of us. It was the second time I have hiked with this group. All the hikers have grey hair, none look like athletes and it was a mix of males, females and races. The lead hiker is closing in on 70 years old, he set the pace at about 3 miles per hour, my normal pace count is 2.6 miles per hour. We hiked 14 miles and did it in just under 5 hours, which included one 10 min break. I hate to say it, but I feel it today.
The lead hiker will often do 30 mile thru hikes, that take 16 to 18 hours to complete. I don’t see myself doing this hike, yet. But it is a motivation. For his 70th birthday he’s doing a 44 mile thru hike.
This group is from Portland, liberals. There’s another Portland based outdoors group that I do outings with, this group practices animal tracking, sets up trail cams in wilderness areas to monitor rare predators such as wolverines, foxes and grey wolfs. Again liberals.
Both groups are organized, fit, active outdoors and liberal. I have not come upon a similar group that’s been organized via conservatives.
I’m not the type of person that would organize a group, it’s not in my DNA, I mostly go alone but every now and then I enjoy group activities and meeting new people with similar interest.
I read quite often from conservatives judging liberals as weak noodle arm wimps, do not underestimate them, they are out there, active, taking risk, challenging themselves, organized and having fun doing so. They are social animals and competent in reaching out and creating groups.

WE ARE FIGHTING A SPIRITUAL WAR OF GOOD VERSUS EVIL
PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.

I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.
Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.
Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.

Lighten our Darkness
The service of Compline has inspired many incredibly beautiful compositions and this collection gathers together 18 of the many lovely a cappella choral motets written to adorn the evening worship of the church. Composers include Byrd, Guerrero, Rachmaninov and Sheppard, alongside such less well-known masterworks as Rheinberger’s Abendlied and the four great Marian motets of Victoria.
John Rutter, English composer and conductor, is associated with choral music throughout the world.
