We are right in the middle of a battle over what branch of the government has what power, and we see a member of Congress chortling with glee over the fact that she has the president’s backing over a perk she arranged for herself.
What does whether a president supports another perk for Congress have to do with anything?
At least the Democrats she joined with weren’t making scathing statements to the civil servants who got caught flat-footed when they were ordered back into the office on short notice.
I have read a lot of negative things about Ms. Luna, but they came from leftist sources, so I disregarded them.
Now I’m thinking that perhaps she really is just an influencer, jumping on the trend of “hot Republican babe in a swimsuit”.
“Pro family” means planning a baby outside of the 24mos you committed to serve your constituents— for the baby and for the voters.
It was selfish to piggyback poorly planning a baby to the generosity offered to those who’ve lost a spouse and it was tone-deaf to parade this activism out in front of the working class, who don’t receive such privileges in the private sector, while their taxes go to your free onsite childcare and salaries that help afford you a nanny.

These executive orders on election integrity are Trump’s way of prodding the GOP Congress to get off its butt and make it the law of the land that Trump, as President, signs.

I am generally a fan of Musk, but I find him to be childish, rash, and unprofessional at times. He apparently called Peter Navarro a “moron” and “dumber than a sack of bricks.” To me, that is inexcusable. He should keep his mouth shut, and I hope that President Trump has a nice conversation with him. You cannot have him sabotaging trade efforts, providing fuel for the media, or creating discontent in the administration. He has to remember that in his role, he is serving the people. If he feels that he cannot put the country before Tesla, then he needs to go back to Tesla. He’s not a trade representative, and I wish he would keep his views to himself.
I’ve noticed a phenomenon with successful people where they seem to think that their skill transcends to all areas. As we know, it usually doesn’t (ie. Bill Gates, celebrities, CEOs, etc). This mentality that everything they say is pure gold is quite annoying. I think that’s what’s happening with Musk. He thinks only his trade views are correct. While I like Musk, I don’t think he deserves the “genius” label that’s commonly tossed at him. He certainly had success at PayPal, but in his future endeavors, he’s been surrounded by smart people. At times, it seems to me like he’s riding the coattails of his employees. I’m not trying to diminish him in any way. He’s an American titan, but like anyone, he has certain attributes that I don’t like.

I know I’m going to get criticism for saying this, but I don’t understand the dynamics of a deal with China. I want no deal with them. I want them to experience severe hardship like they’ve never experienced and for their entire economy to collapse. I don’t care if it ripples through America, I’m willing to weather the storm.
Realistically, what deal can you make with them that’s actually good for us? We have a $300 billion trade deficit, and with them stealing all of our manufacturing, how do you remedy that? Their best talent is lying, cheating, and stealing, and anything they promise, they’ll renege on it like they always do. When I hear Peter Navarro speak, the impression I get is that he wants to keep tariffs high and punitive, especially on China. We then use those tariffs as an ongoing revenue source and at the same time invest in manufacturing here. He seems to lean heavily protectionist on the Asian countries (likely to counteract the allure of cheap labor) , which I love. There is nothing I support more than American ingenuity.
There seems to be an opposing faction within the White House that wants to do individual trade deals that would apparently lower the tariffs. I can technically see this strategy working, as long as you keep tariffs high on China. This would cause an exodus of manufacturers, as they head to more favorable countries (ie. Vietnam, Malaysia, Cambodia, etc). What I don’t like with this strategy is that they won’t come back to America. They’ll head to the next best option for cheap, slave labor. If you make a deal with China, similar to the other Asian countries, I don’t see how this solves anything. Sleazy business will be happy, China will return to deception, and the status quo will continue. I don’t like the Chinese government, I don’t trust the Chinese government, and I don’t want to do business with the Chinese government.
I’m just curious what everyone else thinks. And please, go easy on me. I am not a troll, I’m a huge President Trump supporter. I want him to succeed so badly, and I get stressed out by all the day to day noise. I feel like this is extremely high stakes, and there is one chance to get this right.

I agree with what you’re saying, but I hate it, if that makes sense. An agreement with them keeps them prosperous at our expense which makes me so angry. I remember seeing Ed Rollins on Lou Dobbs a long time ago. He said it was futile dealing with them. They don’t keep their word on anything and just tell you what you want to hear.
I would love to see a trade policy that just destroys them. Businesses leaving, manufacturers getting cold feet.

If anyone needs convincing that the next pandemic is only an accident away, check out Cell. Cell’s a peer-reviewed journal. Just to summarize, researchers past and present from the Wuhan Institute of Virology describe taking samples of viruses found in bats and experimenting to see if they could infect human cells, gain of function research, and pose a pandemic risk. Well, aren’t we grateful that scientists from the Wuhan Institute of Virology are still looking for viruses that could save us from a future pandemic. It just begs credulity that this is still going on. Now the safety level the lab there is is described as basic laboratory biological laboratory safety two whereas it should be four. One authority quoted in the New York Times says that’s insufficient for work with potentially dangerous respiratory viruses. So, this work that’s still being done apparently to save us all from the me next pandemic could easily cause the next pandemic any time. Along with several other motions, the DOJ filed a notice about the evidence it intends to introduce about Routh’s purported plans to kill Trump. According to that DOJ motion, Routh used aliases, he was in touch with a human smuggler in Mexico about an escape plan, and he attempted to buy a .50 caliber sniper rifle in late August.

Years ago, I read an article that said China sent people to the US to take pictures of products on store shelves, presumably to get an idea of the ‘market’.
Temu is evil. Same with Shein. Apparently, workers in China, in the area where these two operations have factories, go daily to see the current items to be made. They pick the item and then they are paid according to how many they make (and it is not much at all!). They work brutal hours in order to make enough money to pay for their food and housing…. however, if someone sends an item back for a refund, that worker is docked the entire amount that the item cost the buyer! So, they can lose an entire week or more of pay for one defective item. Needless to say, items are regularly returned.
I get it… all addictions are real; and real hard to break IF one doesn’t have something better to move toward – a bigger prize to keep one’s eye on while pulling one’s self out of the pit of the addiction.

I looked up Apple net income margin last year. It’s 35%. I heard today the gross margin on an iPhone is 45%. That’s what slave labor and trashing the environment allows. From experience – it is unresolved trauma that keeps us in pain and emotionally-at-capacity, or in overwhelm, that disables our ability to think with the rational/logic part of our brain when an emotionally upsetting topic is presented.
It takes an extraordinary amount of energy to keep the unresolved emotional overwhelm/pain we don’t know how to neutralize/resolve at bay just so we can function in day to day life demands… there are little to no reserves to do the manual override necessary to engage the logical academic exercise of evaluating circumstances without emotional input.
The emotional intensity under the surface floods in and overwhelms the logical brain; we literally can’t think; it’s the chemistry of fight-flight-freeze-fawn that literally takes us over.
I’ve suggested here many times EFT – Emotional Freedom Technique – for neutralizing unresolved trauma so the overwhelm of invisible/unresolved pain no longer dictates perception & viewpoint & thoughts/words/actions… so the thinking brain can still function, engage, analyze, and inform a response – rather than have a reaction be provoked without the ability to override it.

The old traumas anchor & compound the feelings that overwhelm now.; old trauma neutralized means the anchor disappears and the current feeling has nothing to hold to.
I recommend just following the instructions in the tutorial at the founder’s site linked above; Identify the specific feeling or event, do the simple process, evaluate, and repeat until neutral.
Again be specific, and be persistent.

I’m a big fan of tapping as discovered and taught by Gary Craig. Because tapping is so effective, many businesses teach it for profit. Gary gave away the method for free many years ago and a lot of “teachers” jumped on the bandwagon. I recommend following Gary’s teaching as he shows you how to work tapping step by step as opposed to promising miracles for a fee..
Tapping is an amazingly helpful approach to dealing with emotions that can sometimes disrupt our well being. I’ve been tapping for several years and use Gary’s methods often (I’m an old person so I have a lot stored up).

Incidentally – I would not have been able to ‘get’ Optimal EFT had I not been well-versed in the Gold Standard method when he introduced it – Optimal doesn’t really employ much tapping… and tapping is what re-calibrates the physical nervous system to clear the imprinted traumas that are anchored there (is it because tapping isn’t learned well first why so many people need Q&A Sundays?).
Gary is an ordained minister who was formally educated as an engineer. He streamlined a method of meridian tapping he found from another individual who had a multitude of different tapping protocols to address specific problems, and Gary did put the streamlined instructions on his website for free to all, while he also taught/offered certifications for a fee for decades – I attended a couple of his & a couple of other teachers’ workshops.
I’d just completed his Advanced level when he stopped offering seminars/certification and handed his website off to Dr. Dawson Church (@ the eftuniverse research link above) due to his own health requirements.
That was then – a pretty long time ago; this is now.
The Spiritual approach is a direct route to healing for some people, and some people need the physical application of helping themselves by doing the tapping;

My experience started with tapping EFT and I love it. I use it to get “immediate” results, for example, to relieve stress and often times I can resolve things from the past that come up. But I also like the new Optimal EFT because it gives me a way to focus on exploring “muddy” questions without physically tapping.
One of the people who joins Gary on the Sunday webinars is Dr. Gabriella Rutten. She’s Dutch and used to practice medicine but now she only sees clients using Optimal EFT. She wrote a book (with both hers and Gary’s name as authors) in which she explores specific physical problems and their ties to emotional origins, and of course how to use EFT and OEFT. I’m reading the book now and highly recommend it. Apparently part of the book introduces work done by some other German doctors who are currently exploring emotions and physical illness.

We are all looking to see how this “trade” issue with China plays out.
I grew up in the NYC area and I remember when Trump was in some economic difficulty with his businesses and he actually did go into bankruptcy at some point with one of his businesses as I recall. The running joke at the time was that if you owed the bank some money, the bank owned you. But, if you owed the bank lots of money you “owned” the bank, meaning you had the leverage, not the bank. And Trump indeed did use his leverage.
Clearly, the US as represented by our President Trump, has lots of leverage over China since China currently sells so much into the US. There will be some issues along the way, but in the medium to long term, this will turn out well for us.
There will be lots of negotiations with China and this will take place over months. Things will not clear up quickly. I am sure these negotiations will involve lots of matters, not all of which are strictly economic. For example, China currently sends more than 200,000 students to US universities, taking up many spots that should be for US students. I hope that Trump cuts down on the number of student visas to international students from anywhere. No doubt many large US universities are addicted to having these international students, but I say AMERICA FIRST!
Therein lies the problem. Trump has gone through bankruptcy so many times – including running a casino into the ground (which is nearly impossible l, btw), people don’t trust him to do these things.
Actually, he was able to pull himself out of bankruptcy WITHOUT going all the way bankrupt. He made some amazing deals and maneuvers. He emerged better and grew his business.

I also trust Trump will do his best for all of us. He has learned a lot over the years, as he has sometimes had not the best times in business. To my knowledge whenever he had his business go into bankruptcy, he always came out paying off all of his loans fully. My point is that he has learned the “art” of leverage in business and will use this the best he can for us.

For example, businesses go bust all the time and bankruptcy is one way to rebalance.
