For those upset with Ratcliffe and his ability to get a handle on various DS Ops, I would like to point out a couple of items:
1) He is the only, or perhaps one of a couple (spokesperson, etc) of political appointees at the Agency;
2) Arthur Slesinger pointed out in one of the recently disclosed docs in a letter to JFK that “47% of state department employees” spied for the Agency in some capacity at the time.
3) Do you think that when the Agency contracts with a confidential human source or some gun for hire that both sides have lawyers sit down and hammer out a contract? That said asset gets a W9 from the Agency?
4) Do you really think that there is some database somewhere that DOGE can access that actually provides a record of all of their Ops, payments, names, etc?
People need to understand that the “Director” is really just a Manager as SD so accurately points out. He may or may not be privy to any real information from the LIFETIME spooks that actually run the place. And any information he is given is as likely to be false. The spooks could not care less about implementing President’s Trump’s policies (or any President’s for that matter such as Kennedy). I am not sure even calling the DS a “fourth branch” of government is accurate. They are a government unto themselves.
This is not a vindication of Ratcliffe, just trying to illuminate the challenges that he and anyone else faces to “reform” the place.
Perhaps this is the exact reason to shut it all down.
A major difficulty is that there is no concrete “center” for central intelligence. Employees are scattered throughout a variety of agencies _ perhaps government and private.

I am curious about these numbers:
– were these ‘brand new’ numbers that had never been assigned to a U.S. citizen prior to this; or,
– were these numbers already assigned to U.S. citizens who subsequently died; or
– were these numbers assigned to current U.S. citizens who have a ‘low profile’ with the SS Administration, and thus, thought to be be inattentive and exploitable; or,
– a combination of all three?
Could the assigning a SSN — via persons dead due to old age — trigger the max amount of benefits that is being reported?
I think that since 2019 at least, one HAS to sign up for SS online. At least my mother had to when my father died.
It took my brother a couple of months and many hours on his computer/phone just to fix everything.
I bet that these NGOs handle the benefits sign ups for illegals. They probably have some connections in the agency whereby they can sign up large groups of people at the same time.

WISCONSIN: There is a very important Referendum (Question 1) on the April 1st Ballot to amend the State Constitution to require VOTER ID. This, and other Election Integrity measures, including banning Drop Boxes, and Same Day Voting with Paper Ballots, can only happen if you GET OUT AND VOTE! The big gathering in Green Bay with Elon Musk on Sunday was for all those who voted early. I also voted early in my town. I had volunteered to help the town clerk whenever there is voting. By legal definition and U.S. Law, a “pardon” pertains only to those who have already been charged with a crime. Pardon power does not apply to anyone who has not yet been charged, tried, convicted or sentenced for a crime.
If someone is not guilty, charged or convicted of any crime, they do not need, nor are they legally eligible for a pardon. No one can pardon someone for crimes they have never been charged with.
On the other hand, if one attempts to provide “blanket immunity” via fake pardons, it is presumed that those recipients must be guilty of crimes which they could indeed be charged with and convicted for, at some future date, hence the purpose of the fake preemptive pardon attempt.

At this point, am tired of throwing food out due to the inconsistent temps. And…not a bad run…sticker says manufactured in July of 1996. Not counting the one ice maker repair…never had a problem…not worth fixing as I found multiple hairline fractures on the inside of the fridge part…

We have just learned from Sie hassen dich a long time CTH poster that the 3.9 million barrels of Canadian Oil shipped to the United States each day is NOT used for gasoline or heating oil. The oil is very acidic and is instead processed by US refiners in various industrial products and chemicals which are SOLD and exported by the US to Europe and Asia.
Obviously, the $137 billion in Canadian oil we import yearly is turned around via TRANSSHIPMENT and becomes an export at a higher price which offsets any “alleged” trade imbalance!
So, more evidence that the US does not have a trade deficit with Canada and instead has a trade surplus.

That is faulty logic. What we do with the oil after it gets here from Canada doesn’t change the trade deficit with Canada. And it’s sold at a higher price because we refined it.
You’re going to have to do much better than this to convince people we don’t have a trade deficit with Canada.
We export it! It’s just a transshipment.
