Here is the game plan that the forces against Trump will be using for the foreseeable future.
They will attempt to get you to make the perfect the enemy of the good.
Be it the freedom clowns and spending, the immigration hawks with H1B visas, the peace doves with timing, the cultural warriors with total bans of DEI/CRT, the neocons with war fighting, or the swamp dwellers with draining the swamp.
All of them will attempt to get you to believe on whatever issue is the issue of the day that it doesn’t go far enough or do enough.
They will try to make you think that some sub issue of that issue is more important and should be handled first, that since the issue hasn’t been handled yet it won’t be, that we can’t do more than one thing, that so and so is a plant to stop the draining of the swamp, or that because it wasn’t 100% Trump lied. On every single issue, one or more groups will attempt this strategy.
You can’t allow them that power over you. If Trump secures the border and deports 2 million, don’t allow them to reduce that good by them saying well he didn’t deport 2.5 million, so he failed or lied.
You can’t allow them to use the perfect to void out the good in the coming months.
They will try. They already have with the CR and the H1b visa debates. It works, that is why they use it.
You have to keep it in the front of your head on everything about to occur that half a loaf or hopefully in most cases 7/8ths a loaf is better than no loaf.
Do not allow them to gaslight you into thinking the good is the enemy of the perfect.
In the real world, most things are never perfect, but if we try real hard, we can get plenty of good accomplished in the coming 4 years.

Resurrection of the Keystone XL Pipeline – Geopolitical Futures
U.S. President Donald Trump has announced plans to revive the Keystone XL Pipeline, reversing the Biden administration’s efforts to cancel it. The project, which would transport oil from Alberta’s oil sands to Texas at an estimated cost of $8 billion, has faced fierce opposition from Native American and environmental groups for over a decade. When land is leased for drilling, it takes some years for production to begin. So, the increased oil and gas production during the Biden administration is to some extent a result of leases issued during the Trump administration. Trump auctioned off the leases; the Biden administration signed the permits.
Teamster Pipeliner here. That oil is discounted because it’s acidic Tar sands oil. Most of the oil is processed and shipped over seas. It’s not used for Gas in the USA. It’s made into chemicals and asphalt.
In short. Canada essentially has a lease for pipelines throughout the USA that brings Canadian oil to export after the USA refines it. You seem to think that crap oil is on the same market value as sweet crude. It is not. Who disposes of all the crap after that oil is refined? Companies in the USA.

The point is that we get about 4 million barrels of oil a day which adds up to $137 billion a year in oil we buy from Canada via pipelines we help build. When you back out the $137 billion we actually have a legitimate trade surplus with Canada not a trade deficit as President Trump blamed for his EO imposing a 25% tariff on Canadian imports.

Tariffs May Cut One-Third of North American Auto Production Next Week
No matter if Canada and Mexico work something out with the Trump administration in the next two weeks, auto prices will go up, incentives will quickly disappear even on mostly US produced models, and auto production will decrease by as much as 20,000 units a day, says Stephanie Brinley, associate director at S&P Global.
That production cut, which would be nearly a third of car and truck output in the US, Canada, and Mexico, could begin as early as next week, Brinley says in the Automotive Press Association’s Real-Time Auto Intelligence webinar Tuesday.
The presentation came about 12 hours after President Trump pulled the trigger on a 25% tariff for products coming in from Canada and Mexico, plus 10% added to Chinese imports for a 20% total tariff. Current production for North America is about 63,900 vehicles a day, with 41,700 in the US, 17,600 in Mexico, and 4,600 in Canada.
“Margins are going to take a hit here,” Brinley says of the auto industry and its suppliers.
The popular Toyota RAV4 stands out, as much of its North American production comes from Canada and it’s unlikely Toyota will find enough space in its US assembly plants to replace that production. The RAV4 is a bestseller in the US after the Ford F-Series and Chevrolet Silverado, and so it’s quite vulnerable.
“It’s entirely feasible production of some models will be paused,” Brinley says.
Bottom line is if you have been contemplating a new car or truck, get yourself to a dealership right now. Some vehicle stockpiling began in January, but “inventory currently not tariffed is golden,” Brinley says. Dealers may introduce premiums to optimize inventory even in the short-term.

We got very enthusiastic support from the large majority of cars driving by. We had many American flags and Trump flags as well as DOGE flags. They did not have one single American flag. Not one! There were 10 police officers on their side. We had only one. Clearly the police know who the violent ones are and who the peaceful ones are. They all left at exactly the same time. That’s what paid protestors do. One of the counter protestors had his truck keyed with a swastika sign because he had a Trump flag on his truck! Bastards! Police said it is a hate crime and they will check the cameras.

Been going on for years. For the most part, Trucking jobs in West Tx oilfields didn’t pay much because foreign nationals took the jobs and companies paid them less. ND oilfield started recruiting them also. Only way to make a living over 6 figures was to get a Hazmat endorsement and haul NG, or crude. You have to be a US citizens with a good Federal background check in order to get that endorsement.
Times are changing. A friend in the Permian Basin, W, TX told me ICE came in and cleared out a lot of drivers. There will be some changes in the Bakken too.
I expect more good paying trucking jobs to open up in construction too. Teamsters have a few illegal alien members. It’s just a matter of time before they’re caught, or turned in.

Good morning Aggiegirl. Since I began to drive, I’ve only owned Ford’s. Several Mustang convertibles, a couple of Explorers, a great King Ranch model F150 and now I drive an Edge. I even had a Pinto Wagon when my son was little. I’ve never had any problems with any of them. After 10 years driving the F150, I sold it to my grandson and he drove it for a couple of years then sold it. The Mustangs and the F150 were my absolute favorite vehicles to drive!

As suggested before, read every line of an after-visit summary or post-op report. Had a consult recently with a specialist. The entire discussion was about future care options. The doc never examined me, the only touch was shaking my hand when departing the consult. But … the after-visit summary indicates he had examined ear, nose, throat, listened to my heartbeat, etc. None of that was done, but the facility’s version of AI happily filled in all blanks, whether accurate or not. I think the only accurate remark was, “…patient looks her stated age.” 🙂
That’s bad enough but I’ve seen major symptoms I’ve reported not listed, historical medical events leading to them listed in misleading order, if at all, usually not at all, symptoms credited to me that I don’t have and never reported, etc. For a long time when that didn’t happen, I considered it a win. The misleading doctor summary can have more powerful (electronic) legs than the accurate one when records are transferred
When I started seeing commercials for “medical records, at the touch of a button” I was horrified, as I could see where that was going.
Then they came up with HIPPA, to create a false sense of security and to keep us out of what they were doing.

Thus tariffs are an optional tax unlike income tax. You do NOT have to pay it.
Secondly, the propagandists ignore secondary impact of tariffs on exchange rates. If tariffs result in less demand for CCP/EU or MEX goods, then there will be a corresponding decrease in demand for their currencies. Less selling of dollars to buy Euros to purchase tariffed goods. Thus, dollar strengthens. The stronger dollar helps to offset the finished goods price of tariffed vehicles.

The judiciary, on the contrary, has no influence over either the sword or the purse; no direction either of the strength or of the wealth of the society; and can take no active resolution whatever.
“It may truly be said to have neither FORCE nor WILL, but merely judgment; and must ultimately depend upon the aid of the executive arm even for the efficacy of its judgments.”
This view, Hamilton said, “suggests several important consequences.
“It proves incontestably, that the judiciary is beyond comparison the weakest of the three departments of power; that it can never attack with success either of the other two; and that all possible care is requisite to enable it to defend itself against their attacks,” he wrote.
“It equally proves, that though individual oppression may now and then proceed from the courts of justice, the general liberty of the people can never be endangered from that quarter; I mean so long as the judiciary remains truly distinct from both the legislature and the Executive.”
