The minority – the Democrats – are once again setting the agenda. Meanwhile the Republicans – specifically Mike Johnson – plod along with no sense of urgency whatsoever. His response to lawless judges is “next week” we’ll try to pass some weak law that spares judges from any consequences for their bad behavior. By the time he begins it won’t matter, the agenda has been established and Republicans have to dance to the Democrats narrative – always defense, never offense.
Trump is great. The House Republicans elected milquetoast Johnson and we reap the consequences. It’s not just lawless judges, not just another CR despite his multiple promises to the contrary, there is no indication that there will be any investigation into Federal involvement disrupting the January 6 protests, in fact there’s no agenda at all from this guy other than “wait till September”.
GOP has got to go on offense. Boasberg and other lawless judges must be impeached.
This is clearly not the party of law and order until it proves with decisive action that it’s the party of law and order.
Republicans need to initiate aggressive action and set the agenda, not respond to Democrat’s narratives or hand them opportunities to exploit.
Trump is great, it’s the Republicans that are the problem. “Taking responsibility” for the Signal fiasco is empty words. Who specifically has Goldberg in their contact list? Can them.
We’re all waiting with baited breath. The crimes are out there. Let’s see some legal brilliance to deal with them.
I prefer the option of shutting down Judge Boasberg’s Court as Mike Johnson mentioned. The Congress has the power to do that and it’s cleaner than the impeachment business. It’s less political.

Yes, sunlight on the judiciary is the best possible outcome for the people of this country. I have read statistics that 70-80% of Americans want illegals deported, boys out girls sports, and men out of women’s safe spaces. There are numerous other policies President Trump is trying to enact that the people of this country voted for. The judges halting his progress only lends more credibility to the fact that it is absolutely not MAGA that is a threat.
I just listened to Very Liberal Supreme Court Justice Elena Kagan say, “it just can’t be right that one district court judge can stop a nationwide policy and leave it stopped for years that it takes to go through normal process.”

The original is the best but they did do a 2003 remake that was pretty good and a Red Fern Grows II in the 80’s which is ok also.
Saddest movie ever. I probably had the remake on DVD. Dave Matthews of DMB was in it strangely. I had to go out for something, so I suggested it to the family as a new edition to the media server.

Boasberg is attempting to control how the Executive executes the law, he’s not ruling on the law, but issuing orders which interfere in the execution of the law and has now progressed to demanding details so he can determine if his orders have been complied with. That’s not “good behavior” Allowing a District Court judge to determine how the Executive executes the law renders the Executive subordinate.
The lawsuit which Boasberg uses as a pretense to attack the president, a fig leaf to hide his personal political agenda, was filed at 2 AM Saturday. Boasberg, who was not the on-call emergency judge, issued a TRO and by the end of Saturday turned it into a class action.
Yet Speaker Mike Johnson, Republican, protects him.
This really is such a travesty. Mayorkas and co. Broke their oaths of office by allowing these criminals in and yet President Trump cannot deport them.
Congress needs to take away the jurisdiction of these judges so they cannot interfere in The Executive Branch’s Federal immigration policy!
Two of the three judge panel at the Court of Appeals are usurping the authority of the other two branches.
They argue over whether there is an incursion or invasion or not. That is a political determination! The Legislature has vested the Executive with the authority to determine whether there is an incursion or invasion and to deport those deemed alien enemies.
The Judicial branch does not possess authority to decide whether there is an invasion or incursion, despite their claims to the contrary.
In today’s Court of Appeals AEA denial they state on page 11:
In the Fifth Congress, supporters of the AEA insisted “persons [] imprisoned [under the Act] would [] have the power of demanding a trial.” 8 Annals of Cong. 1958 (1798).

This whole situation is marching forward – tick tock, tick tock – towards a “confrontation” which will make the previous acts of Presidents Jackson and Lincoln look very pale.
The Constitution, purposely, never granted any power of “review or consent” to the Judiciary. And, in The Federalist Papers, founders such as Alexander Hamilton clearly stated why. But this one new President is now apparently “attracting all of the Furies,” to the point where the fundamental issue can no longer be ignored.
Either the Supreme Court or the Congress is actually going to be forced to act, or the third Constitutionally-enabled party in this game is finally going to be forced to.
Article 2, Section 1, as amended: “The executive Power shall be vested in a President of the United States of America – subject to the approval of 400+ Federal Judges in 96+ Districts, all of whom must consent to his decisions, and any one of which may suspend or countermand it.”
Fair warning: “Your beloved Judiciary” is not strong enough.

I’ve been posting here from time to time about the need to repeal and replace the Civil Service Reform Act of 1978 ever since President Trump’s first term. Now, given all these TRO’s and other court decisions involving civil servants, it’s even more obvious that this entire Act, along with hundreds of subsequent amendments, needs to be repealed in its entirety and replaced with a new Civil Service Reform Act for the 21st Century.
The only downside is that it would take the Republicans in Congress to resurrect themselves from the dead and actually do something meaningful to assist our President.
If only the right had protesters on speed dial like the left in order to picket this PoS house like the left did for the Roe v. Wade decision.

IOW, cn, I believe it’s safe to say that if every administration whether D or R has openly admitted that Iran is not, and has not been, developing weapons-grade nuclear capabilities, it’s logical and reasonable to conclude that Iran isn’t developing weapons-grade nuclear capabilities. So, it brings the question back around full-circle. Why are we, the American people, being led to believe we need to be aggressive and hostile towards them? This is a valid and legitimate question.
