Here is the game plan that the forces against Trump will be using for the foreseeable future.
They will attempt to get you to make the perfect the enemy of the good.
Be it the freedom clowns and spending, the immigration hawks with H1B visas, the peace doves with timing, the cultural warriors with total bans of DEI/CRT, the neocons with war fighting, or the swamp dwellers with draining the swamp.
All of them will attempt to get you to believe on whatever issue is the issue of the day that it doesn’t go far enough or do enough.
They will try to make you think that some sub issue of that issue is more important and should be handled first, that since the issue hasn’t been handled yet it won’t be, that we can’t do more than one thing, that so and so is a plant to stop the draining of the swamp, or that because it wasn’t 100% Trump lied. On every single issue, one or more groups will attempt this strategy.
You can’t allow them that power over you. If Trump secures the border and deports 2 million, don’t allow them to reduce that good by them saying well he didn’t deport 2.5 million, so he failed or lied.
You can’t allow them to use the perfect to void out the good in the coming months.
They will try. They already have with the CR and the H1b visa debates. It works, that is why they use it.
You have to keep it in the front of your head on everything about to occur that half a loaf or hopefully in most cases 7/8ths a loaf is better than no loaf.
Do not allow them to gaslight you into thinking the good is the enemy of the perfect.
In the real world, most things are never perfect, but if we try real hard, we can get plenty of good accomplished in the coming 4 years.
By the truths they stomp on shall ye know them.

The Trump DOJ said it is exercising the State Secrets Privilege and informed Judge James Boasberg it will no longer provide him with any information related to deportation flights.
Boasberg, an Obama appointee, has been grilling DOJ lawyers about the Trump Administration’s move to deport dangerous Venezuelan aliens under the Alien Enemies Act.
Judge Boasberg said Trump’s invocation of the Alien Enemies Act to deport criminal aliens is “incredibly troublesome and problematic” and threatened the Trump Admin with consequences if they violate his order in the future.
On Monday evening, the DOJ had enough of Judge Boasberg’s intrusive orders and invoked the State Secrets Privilege.

It’s most troubling that Boasberg and Roberts have a close personal relationship. They both belong to a highly exclusive and private club for judges and attornies, a conflict of interest right there.

IN DEFENSE OF PAM BONDI:
Most of us on these pages, including me, have been quick to criticize AG Bondi, as either out of her depth as AG, ethically challenged, or both.
But tonight, in my estimation, marked Bondi’s finest hour as Attorney General as her DOJ just notified anti-Trump Judge James Boasberg that the President is hereby invoking the State Secrets Privilege and will no longer provide him with any information on deportation flights of illegal aliens under the Alien Enemies Act!
AG Bondi sent this message to Boasberg on DOJ letterhead:
“This is a case about the President’s plenary authority, derived from Article II and the mandate of the electorate, and reinforced by longstanding statute, to remove from the homeland designated terrorists participating in a state-sponsored invasion of, and predatory incursion into, the United States.”
“The Court has all of the facts it needs to address the compliance issues before it. Further intrusions on the Executive Branch would present dangerous and wholly unwarranted separation-of-powers harms with respect to diplomatic and national security concerns that the Court lacks competence to address.”
So the DOJ, straight up, just told Judge Boasberg that he will get no more information on President Trump’s deportation flights, and then added:
“No more information is needed to resolve any legal issue in this case. Whether the planes carried one TdA terrorist or a thousand or whether the planes made one stop or ten simply has no bearing on any relevant legal issue. The need for additional information here is not merely “dubious,” or “trivial,” it is non-existent. The Executive Branch violated no valid order through its actions, and the Court has all it needs to evaluate compliance. Accordingly, the Court’s factual inquiry should end.”
Way to go, Pam Bondi!
Bondi isn’t being criticized for not doing her job when it comes to things like the above and messaging, she’s being criticized for the fact that nobody except a couple of transvestites throwing Molotov cocktails are being arrested when she insisted everybody not abiding by Trumps executive orders would face the consequences . These are not situations when a lot of time is needed to build a case , people want action .

Of course I agree with that. A couple of people responding to my post are speculating that Bondi didn’t write the memorandum to Judge Boasberg herself. Whether she did or didn’t, it still got delivered to the judge last night.

I thought she did fabulously during her confirmation hearing. She was clearly very well prepared for it. Then reality set in.
I watched her first presser as AG, and, imo, she was not prepared. She seemed nervous – maybe because she was late – but who knows. She asserted how she’d “filed charges” against Ill and another state (I’ve forgotten which one), which to me was a ‘tell’ – as the words “filing charges” is entirely used in criminal matters, not civil litigation. The constant “we’re coming after you” seems unnecessary – just do it.
Guess if PT was totally happy with DOJ/AG priorities he would not be giving directives on Truth Social or during his speech before the DOJ?

If you recall, Special Counsel Hur was appointed after the disclosure that classified documents were found at President Biden’s homes and his office in Washington. Compared to the investigations of Trump, the Biden inquiry was, for lack of a better word, soft: searches were conducted without FBI monitors, Biden’s lawyers negotiated the terms of searches with a US Attorney appointed by Biden. The issue with Biden’s handling of classified materials wasn’t necessarily the possession of those materials, though that is a criminal offense. It’s that he lied about it to Special Counsel Hur. Reading this story earlier today made me think about a potential solution to this problem. It’s BTW, a global problem amongst Western nations. NZ has it, Aus has it, UK has it, the EU has it, etc. It’s a lefty thing. Some of them pretend to be conservatives, become politically active inside the conservative parties of the given country, and then use their insider cred to persuade and sabotage the true conservative agenda’s attempting to be promoted into law by the real conservatives inside said conservative parties. As an example, this is how climate change has achieved so much traction worldwide. Not because it has real science behind it, but because dedicated idealogues decades ago infiltrated the academic, scientific, think tank worlds, then once enough credible bollocks had been created to fool the public, they infiltrated the conservative political parties and started spreading the same poison. That’s just an example. The thing about the left is they always use the same playbook, no matter what the agenda item. You can find the same technique I just outlined at work in trans, in media, in anything else which is important to political progress. It’s like they burrow into and undermine genuine honest rational objections, but they do it in a very subversive way. It’s how they roll. Read Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals. That’s one of their user manuals. Not the only one, but one of them.
So, how to get rid of them from the conservative movement?
Why not demand the GOP takes a leaf out of the DOGE book and use data analysis to expose the voting records of every single local, state and federal conservative politician, for a start. From today, and going right back to their very first vote on the very first bill they ever voted on. That exposes the front puppets. Then, use social network data analysis on all the RINO puppets so identified, to find out who is on their staffs, and who donates most to them. That exposes the RINO puppet handlers and their enablers and facilitators.
I don’t see how any of that analysis could possibly present any legal issues, because the data is all public record, available to everyone.
And if anyone in the GOP thinks they’ve just been mislabelled, like say, Lindsay Graham might, or Chuck Grassley might, why, they’re free to put their case to their voting public. But hey, data is data, facts are facts, and if you’ve got all the graphs etc on a website in front of every voter in their district/state, then…

These two branches as well as the legislative branch – Congress – were established as coequal in the U.S. Constitution in order to provide checks and balances to the power they wield.
“This court should stop the ongoing assault on the constitutional structure before further damage is wrought,” the department added.
Trump, U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi and other members of his administration have accused a number of federal judges who have issued orders impeding the Republican president’s actions of judicial overreach at the expense of presidential authority.
“If Justice Roberts and the United States Supreme Court do not fix this toxic and unprecedented situation IMMEDIATELY, our Country is in very serious trouble!” Trump wrote in that post.
The Justice Department told the Supreme Court in Monday’s filing that lower courts have issued than 40 judicial orders impeding its policies “without sufficient regard for limits on their own jurisdiction or to defects in plaintiffs’ representations about the law and the underlying facts.”

The first case, EPA vs Calumet Shreveport Refinery LLC is being heard separate from the two, consolidated, cases called Oklahoma vs EPA consolidated with PacifiCorp vs EPA – they all rest upon the same basic question this court has decided to focus on.
In the first case in a pair of final actions, the EPA denied 105 petitions filed by small oil refineries seeking exemptions from various parts of the Clean Air Act, and 6 of those cases were petitioned for review in the Fifth Circuit which denied the government’s motion to transfer those cases to the D.C. Circuit.
In the other two consolidated cases, asks the same question, but this time there are 21 States that filed for variations of the Clean Air Act rulings where it was the Fourth, Fifth, Sixth and Eighth Circuits made their rulings, and those circuits refused to transfer those cases to the D.C. circuit court.
In each of the above cases the only question the Court is considering is, given the EPA makes its decisions out of its Washington D.C. location – are all cases or petitions filed against the EPA required to be heard only in the D.C. circuit court?
personal speculation – seems like these cases come down to a power grab by the D.C. circuit court judges claiming because they are based in D.C., any rule or regulation emanating from agencies based in D.C. can only be heard in their D.C. circuit. No wonder Boasberg et.al. think they rule the government, they are doing a power grab over their fellow circuit courts.
