FBI Director Kash Patel makes his first television appearance on Fox News to discuss his mission priority within the FBI. Defending the honorable rank and file FBI agents, Kash Patel notes his intention is to focus on the massive increase in violent crime that has come as an outcome of open borders and illegal alien inflows.
Kash Patel has a long relationship with both Trey Gowdy and current CIA Director John Ratcliffe going back to the days when Patel was the lead staffer for Devin Nunes on the House Intelligence Committee, and Gowdy with Ratcliffe were selected to review the FISA application at the center of ‘Russiagate.’
Mr. Gowdy puts the number of honorable FBI officials at 95% and Director Patel agrees, saying he wants to return to the time when he and his family would invite FBI agents for a cup of coffee. I have not heard of Amanda Grace which means little except that my roots go back beyond Full Gospel Businessmen’s Convention and a church to preached and acted uncompromisingly on God’s Word.

Retired Magistrate here: With all the damage that the Biden Administration did, I will be satisfied if President Trump can take us back to the conditions that were in place right before Covid; a strong economy, a secure border and no wars.
If President Trump can accomplish that, and I believe that he will, he will have done what I voted for.
Expecting one man to fix decades of deep state manipulations is not realistic and sets us up for pessimism rather than being thankful for what President Trump can accomplish.

Ok, I understand the frustration. But does anyone remember when President Trump said his retribution would be success? I took that to mean economic success, President Trump’s yardstick. One of his great traits is he says what he means, and he keeps his promises. That doesn’t mean he’s going to sweat the details about every pencil neck paper pusher who helped crucify him.
I do hope that hidden from John Q public there are serious investigations going on into people who conspired against him (really us). We have at least 4 years, so I am patient.

The crimes that they seem to want to focus on are better dealt with at the state level. Property crimes, rape, murder, etc. are state crimes, nothing for the FBI to waste their time twiddling their thumbs doing.
Disband the FBI. Turn over drug enforcement to DEA where it should be. Let state crimes be handled by the states. Start a new law enforcement branch for crime reports, federal only crimes, investigating terrorist organizations, and assistance to the states.
Kash Patel has never been a part of law enforcement or handled anything with law enforcement. He is woefully ill-prepared for heading a law enforcement organization. We need a sheriff of a large county or state law enforcement organization to go to work.
And finally, why in the tarnation are all these people appearing on Fox News or MSNBC or CNN. They should be so busy working that they don’t have time to show their faces.
60 something days in…these comments! Like a white tornado was going to magically sweep across the land and these newly placed cabinet members would ride in with white hats and solve all the BS of the past 16 years plus! Criminal cases take time to develop. A top down assessment of an organization takes more than two months to accomplish. If we are honest, we are being spoiled by 47 with his speedy work on border security and the economy. Heck, even the FBI has nabbed 3 of the top ten wanted in 60 days of a government that ignored the top ten list for at least 4 years prior!
I’m going to sit back and enjoy the show. If things turn stupid (in a reasonable amount of time) I’ll jump on the bandwagon of naysayers. In the meantime, I’m happy with reasonably paced progress…when Congress gets back from vacation, they had better start addressing the Judiciary!

I agree with you. I think many people on CTH have gotten so used to getting burned they think all fire is bad. I wasn’t thrilled with Kash’s choice for first interview or for his enthusiasm for Trey Gowdy. It’s easy to write books about how bad it was, what needs to be done, until you are “surprisingly” picked to do the job. I’ll give them time and ignore the bandwagon for now.
