I’ve always fully understood the rationale behind the long time practice that only property owning men could vote.
Only net taxpayers should vote. That means if you work for state government you don’t vote in state elections. If you work for the federal government, you don’t vote in federal elections. If you don’t own property, you don’t vote in local elections.
If you get more back in tax credits – child, head of household, etc., you don’t vote in federal elections. If you earn too little to owe tax, you don’t vote. If you don’t work and live off a spouse, you don’t vote.
I think people would be surprised how many people don’t pay taxes. There will be a lot of retirees and low income earners that can no longer vote.
Maybe you can get all the people suffering from REAL disabilities to visit Canada and experience what the Canadian government is pushing on horribly depressed people. That’s a “final solution” you can probably get behind.
Even ‘low income earners’ pay Social Security Tax and Medicare Tax.

One might think a better list might be…
1) Real Property owners
2) Entrepreneurs and business owners (white or blue collar)
3) Military (active, reserve, and veteran)
4) Net tax payers (so long as the current tax structure is in place)
An honorable mention can be made for those with capital investments in critical sectors – they have skin in the game, so their participation in the vote is a discussable point.
In short, those receiving the privilege to vote are those with skin in the game.
Who should be disallowed the vote?
Excluding Old Age Survivors (Social Security and equivalents), non-retiree whose lifestyle is significantly subsidized by the US tax-payer: EBT, HUD housing, etc. In short, if one is on welfare, one is a bought vote.
Renters and non-property owners.
Non-citizens, even if they meet the criteria listed above to vote.
Federal bureaucracy employees, as well as those of academic institutions. In short, if your career depends upon the flow of government monies to sustain your department, you are a bought vote.
Those not allowed the vote, are those who are not US citizens, and/or have a vested interest to see government monies flow in their direction to maintain a lifestyle. These do not have true skin in the game.
I’d be open to include others whose skin in the game can be demonstrated. I’d nix any proposed category who merely have a vested interest in power and money flow.

The plan is not selling “citizenship”. It is selling becoming a “resident” for business purposes. Big difference with “business” benefits.
According to Sec. Lutnick’s quick description in his recent interview posted here, they could separately pursue becoming a citizen if they wanted to but probably wouldn’t want to.

150 years ago, most Americans still owned their own businesses – whether rural or urban. At 120 years ago, over half still owned their own businesses.
Today (and for the last 70 years), most people are told to have a vested interest in making good grades, get your degrees, and work for someone else in a job. In the process of getting here, people have been made economic slaves to both corporate and political interests. Not a pretty picture.

Every “resident” of the USA benefits from protection of the military and every “resident” inherits the blessings brought forth by the sacrifices of those who have come before. Trump is vulnerable on this, as the Dems have a powerful narrative to define this administration, Oligarchs. The clear way in which the government was spending money through NGOs (non-governmental organizations) and people taking kickbacks and profits along the way is going to come out. There may have been theft along the way. What business does Stacy Abrams have getting $2 billion for an NGO? This doesn’t make any sense. It’s going to be shocking, even shocking to me. I knew there was rot in the system, but the mind blowing way the NGOs were used to facilitate the illegal immigration just blows my mind. The 10 million plus illegals that came in over the last four years, you just don’t wake up one day in Central America and say I am going to the Darien Gap, and go to the Mexican border and then meander my way into the interior of the US without a tremendous amount of aid along the way.
NGOs facilitated that and probably took their cut. What was the all-in economic cost of the goodies they got once they got here? Plus, the NGOs spent and what the government spent themselves to facilitate this, it’s not hard to imagine $50,000 to $100,000 all-in cost per illegal. . . . This is the all-in cost up and down the entire economic food chain. . . . It was anywhere between $500 billion to $1.5 trillion depending on the illegals. It was an illegal project funded purposely, and it was very logistical. It was not something that just happened overnight.
Consumer confidence has taken a nosedive recently, and you can see why. There are 10 million to 15 million illegal immigrants worried about their gravy train coming to an end. So, they may be holding back on their spending. There are millions of government employees worried about their jobs.
Then, you have the NGO networks that employ about 6 million people. So, you have about 20 million to 25 million people that are in the workforce…worried about where their money is going to come from, and that can cause consumer spending to slow down.

ALL of these people, even County Sheriff and Judge, are ELECTED officials, and in order to accept that their States elections are rigged, admit that THEIR election might have been illegitimate, and NOBODY, once in office, wants to admit that.

Additionally, by cross pollinating each device with other devices regularly within close proximity to the target device we are able to build a detailed profile for each target.

I watched the Gavin podcast with Tin Walz. Through proxy, of course, as to not give them any gas to run on.
But Gavin worries me. He is smart, he is slick, and he seems to fully understand why the Dems got their asses handed to them and why they will continue to lose. While Tin Walz seems lost in the muck and sewage of identity politics, Slick pushed back. Chinese researchers have developed a compact, deep-sea device capable of severing even the most fortified underwater cables.
The development raises concerns that Beijing could target critical communication and power lines, especially in the event of a Chinese invasion of Taiwan.
The tool can slice armoured cables at depths of up to 4,000 metres (13,123 feet), which is twice the maximum operational range of existing subsea communication infrastructure, according to an academic paper seen by the South China Morning Post.

The Fed SHOULD have cut rates last week.
That is a fact.
Instead, the Fed stated it is on “hold” for rate cuts because the potential tariffs the Trump administration introduces might trigger inflation.
This is 100% nonsense.
Europe, Japan, China, and countless other nations have introduced tariffs, duties and other trade restrictions in the past with ZERO uptick in inflation.
Moreover, there is NO evidence that inflation expectations are on the rise. The five year forward inflation expectations is THE gold standard for measuring inflation expectations.
Do you see an uptick here? I don’t.
So what is the Fed doing?
Playing politics.
They did this during Trump’s first term in 2018 when they intentionally tightened monetary policy to the point of triggering a stock market crash (if you don’t believe me, former Vice Chair Stanley Fischer admitted this in an interview).

Darrell Issa’s Judge Crackdown: GOP Guts or Just Hot Air?
Darrell Issa’s “No Rogue Rulings Act” (NORRA) passed the House Judiciary Committee on March 5, 2025. This bill’s got teeth but faces a 60-vote hurdle in the Senate unless they slap some budget tricks on it for reconciliation. Even then, it’s stalled till at least September 25th—way too slow.
The Senate has already gone nuclear to appoint judges; surely they can do it to tame them. But nah, Senate Republicans have spines of soggy pasta. Wimps!
Remember, Congress and President Trump just fully funded the Department of Education’s budget a few days ago via the Continuing Resolution. Now, a few days later, President Trump is cutting it. How’s he signing a fat continuing resolution one week, then implementing cuts the next? Easy: Trump’s praying the Supreme Court reviews the 1974 Impoundment Control Act, letting him ignore Congress’s wallet. In conjunction with that, he’s hoping the Supreme Court will rein in the Federal District Court Judges issuing nationwide injunctions on his Executive (DOGE) spending cuts. Exactly how is the DOJ going to argue President Trump can refuse to spend a budget he signed just a few days ago? If he didn’t want to spend it, why did he sign it? Similarly, if he wanted to make DOGE cuts, why did he sign it?
This reeks of Republican performance art, not real fixes—pure Kabuki vibes.
Don’t worry, come September, the Republicans will magically grow a spine and finally tackle the $2 trillion deficit. This time they’re really, really, really serious.

Does anyone else use yahoo email? They recently revamped to a newer ‘better’ email and part of the better is they have AI reading all my emails and providing a summary of what they say before I can get to the email. This includes my personal emails as well as some purchase orders I make.
So, yahoo is reading all my emails via AI..this is the beginning of what SD has been talking about. Right now after you read AI they are asking if it was helpful and of course I say no then they ask for a comment…today I said that my privacy is being invaded and isn’t that illegal?

I’ve had my Yahoo email address for decades, and I’m loathe to change it, but I guess I’ll have to.
That’s how I feel…had it for years, have all my files there I save for reference, business, personal…it really freaked me out.
I always wondered why our email “box” never had the protections of snail mail..
I have not seen what you describe in yahoo emails. The screen looks different but I’m not seeing any summary of messages. When I saw messages regarding the email “upgrade” I ignored them so I’m guessing whatever they turned on remains turned off for me.
