However: Why is it not also a crime – at least a misdemeanor – to accept and to publish such information, if one suspects, knows, or has reason to believe that the information is classified? Or, perhaps better, why cannot the publication be severely fined for doing so?

The jurisdiction of the courts is spelled out in the Alien Enemies Statute itself, in Section 23:
(1). Courts are not given control over the President invoking the Statute by Proclamation. Instead, judges dealing with individual aliens brought into their courtrooms are instructed as to what steps they can use in hearing such cases. It is not up to any local court (like a Federal District Court) to do Judicial Review of such a decision to invoke the statute.
(2). Judges must conform their decisions to the four corners of the President’s proclamation invoking the statute and such regulations as the President promulgates.
The statute describes three jurisdictions as follows:
Section 22- President’s jurisdictions.
Section 23-Inferior Courts Jurisdiction
Section 24-Law Enforcement (Under Heading “Marshals”) jurisdiction
There is no excuse for Boasberg even HINTING he wants to know if the statute should have been invoked. This is a hint he will attempt to veto the invocation and demand all gangs and cartel gunman be brought back and released into general population once again. No district judge has this authority and this is obvious from the stature itself.

FWIW Federal Law Enforcement, has always been a mixture of Legal Scholars aided, actually supplied by real enforcers of the law. Those who are working the arrests, behind the scenes, so to speak. This in my experience, has always been a successful paring, given the amount of big brain, big dollar defense agencies. Which are attracted, whenever large criminal enterprises are at risk . . .
I for one, wouldn’t want to rely on Pam Bondi on the Ram, Knocking Down the Door-so to speak.

Totally disagree with the disparaging of Attorney General Bondi. She is doing her part forcefully along with her staff and agencies to lead, coordinate, communicate, and enforce President Trump’s agenda. They have known each other for a long time, and he would know of any weakness or dysfunction and stop raving about her if that was not the case.

Our government is undergoing change. It is unsettling. Trump is right to keep the public apprised on a continuous basis. The constant flow of information should help to keep down anxiety and keep the MSNBCs of the world from setting the narrative.
As with Homan’s deportation effort, Blanche must make a highly public prosecutorial example of someone who is acting illegally to sabotage lawful government activities. Until that happens, their admonitions and threats are baseless.
