Some interesting developments in the aftermath of special envoy Steve Witkoff spending four hours in discussions with President Vladimir Putin.
After Witkoff relayed the substance of the lengthy Putin meeting, the White House and President Trump announced a phone call between Trump and Putin is scheduled for Tuesday. The Kremlin have confirmed the call schedule.
It is important to stay focused on the factual aspects to these ongoing negotiations. President Putin’s public statements after the Witkoff meeting essentially said Russia agrees in principle with the need for a ceasefire, and the details of coordinating a 2,000km long point of conflict need to be worked out.
Meanwhile, in somewhat of a surprise statement, Vladyslav Vlasiuk, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s commissioner for sanctions policy, said they are open to the removal of economic sanctions against Russia as part of a negotiated peace deal.

Vladyslav Vlasiuk, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s commissioner for sanctions policy, said in an interview that a return to countries doing business with Russia in one way or another is simply “a matter of time,” but had to take place under the right conditions.
Economic restrictions, embargoes and bans on importing Russian energy, he said, “have their own objectives, which might be pushing Russia to stop its aggression and to make them make a deal on lasting peace,” rather than simply being a “punishment of any kind.” (read more)
My biggest concern is how overly willing to capitulate Ukraine is pretending to be in their public statements. If Zelensky cannot agree to peace for personal/political/CIA reasons, why are they claiming to be willing to fold on every sticking point in the negotiations?

In this NEGOTIATION, the document referenced was signed to signify it accurately represented the official Ukraine Teams ceasefire position at that initial point in the negotiation process.

If we yank out the stool, that place will collapse into complete anarchy. So you remove some things, but you keep others. You let them have bullets, but you don’t let them have long range missiles or targeting data or intelligence-sharing.
If you want to end the conflict, like I do, you do it in a way that ensures Ukraine continues to be a country. It might be a neutral country. It might have either an autonomous region in the east, or that region becomes a part of Russia. But it’s still a sovereign country.
On the other side of the equation, you carefully start lifting sanctions. Your opposition will say, “Why would you be giving them money to ensure a cease fire?”
The same reason. You give the Russians a financial incentive to ease up. And you give them a path to build economic partnerships with the US.
It has to be done carefully. But if you do it right, they both win, they both lose, and we all get a lasting peace.

I think it would be helpful, not harmful, if President Trump would release Russias frozen assets from, U.S., about 5 billion dollars according to Wikipedia.
Perhaps he could also influence G7 to do like wise in a combined effort to bring peace and an end to the Russian / Ukrainian war. Doing so would serve double purposes:
1) Actually speed an immediate cease fire and help end the war altogether more quickly.
2) The EU and other nations that have frozen Russian assets would feel pressured to cooperate for peace, or maybe they refuse and show their true motives are to continue hostilities between the two countries.

About these reports of 30 NATO officers trapped in the Kursk salient (for lack of a better term), what reliable reporting is there that they exist, much less are trapped and cannot escape? For that matter, what reliable reporting is there that any Ukrainian troops in that area are surrounded, with or without any NATO officers in amongst them?
And this Kursk salient was never very big. The Ukrainians only penetrated into a tiny corner of the Russian Kursk Oblast. It is not like they got halfway to Moscow or anything like that. They never got more than 30-40 kilometers into Russia on a front of maybe 50 kilometers wide (out of about a 2,000 kilometer front between Ukraine and Russia). Some reporting has it that most of that salient has been retaken by Russia in the months since the Ukrainians invaded, and there probably is no reason to doubt that.
If there really are NATO officers in that area, doing who knows what, then there must be many, many more elsewhere in Ukraine along that 2,000 kilometer front doing the same sorts of work, but where is any reliable reporting of such personnel in Ukraine? It does not mean there aren’t some in Ukraine, but where is the verification? One thing about that war is that there has been far more propaganda from both sides than there has been actual reliable unbiased reporting from any source.

The link was for March 5. It looks like the Ukrainians have lost about half of what they still held in that Kursk salient area on March 5 compared to today.
The site I usually go to for what is going on on the ground in that war is Understandingwar.org, the Institute for the Study of War. They are also a pro-Ukrainian source, or shall we say more of a pro-EU/NATO globalist keep-the-war-going source. Still, they stay pretty up-to-date on what is happening now, even if you need to be a little careful with their stance on some things.

Depending on who you read, they sent 600-800 troops through a natural gas pipeline that had been shut down. Over 15 klicks, they came up out of the ground behind the Ukes. Some died in the pipeline due to fumes. That’s how they surrounded them.

-An election is held in Ukraine before the war is permanently settled.

-Sanctions are lifted by the US and relations are gradually normalized.

The hardest part will be to convince Ukraine to accept the deal.

With respect to NATO “volunteer” Troops … every “NATO” Formed and Equipped Brigade (i.e. Brigades formed in France and Germany by US, France, UK and Germany) has a very large Cadre of “Volunteers” still in that Unit in the Ukraine as “advisors”, or mercenaries actually in the Combat Units, who actually hold that brigade together once it enters combat … except for the latest French Brigade that did not even make it to the front before falling apart.
Then there are the few remaining “Ukrainian Brigades”, with NATO advisors added to consider. They also have smaller NATO “Volunteer” cadres and mercenaries.
Bottom line .. those 30-50 NATO “Advisors” stuck in the Kursk salient, represent all that are left from the original number that were present when the Ukrainian incursion started.
There was an RT Article today that said the Russians estimate there are a total of 15,000 Foreign Volunteers remaining, who fighting for the Ukraine … that is an underestimation. especially when considering those i Kiev acting as a general staff, those manning the deep strike weapons and targeting systems, those manning logistics assets and even more advisors and trainers trying to scrape together new Units.

My sister in law lives outside of Kiev. My wife relayed the other day from her sister. “Everyone is scared to go outside their house. All and any man they find are being snatched up to be sent to fight.” It appears the people are have turned on Zelensky. Although, her sister was upset at Trump about the Oval Office fight. They are outside the city, most of the time they are running on generators to have electricity. That been the situation for months.
My wife’s sister is not a very involved political person – just trying to live their life and do not care much about what the politicians are doing.
My wife also has family in Russia – that is a little more complex. It is dangerous to publicly criticize Putin, but he is generally supported by the people. They are not really suffering from the sanctions – life continues on there also with minimal disruptions. It is funny, because I get to see the Russian memes about recent events.
The biggest thing personally is the closed relations between US-Russia. My wife’s oldest son tried to get a visa to travel to US (from Russia) so my Wife could see her first grandson for the first time. Nope – denied. Her youngest son, who live here. Has not seen his father in about 10 years. After all the immigration stuff was finally settled, the SMO started. So then it was not advisable for him to go back to Russia to see his father. Maybe soon this all will change.

That is certainly true in my life, I seem to alternate between being EGO (feeling seperate from GOD) and Presence (spirit without “thinking-feeling-acting” but allowing SPIRIT to be in control, or Possessed by GOD-LOVE.
I am coming to terms with this. When we switch from Ego to Presence it has totally different qualities, almost feels like I’m not the old ego being I was when I was educated by my parents/teachers. OLD MAN vs the NEW Spirit MAN. And I don’t take any credit for it at all, since I know that we are all going thur this process.
Now this Putin/Trump game is played at human level but there is also spiritual dimension to it. Putin and Trump are both trying to connect with GOD and look after their own Country. Z is evil-human that was first tempted, and then agreed to do EVIL stuff. We all have had many lives of going through the process. As we advance, we understand as Saint Francis spoke, “Lord, make me an instrument of YOUR LOVE, PEACE, ect … and to where their is hate, let me sow love, etc.”
This Site is exercise in combining State and GOD, and we are all at different levels of this.

They already voted. In 2014 they voted independence from Ukraine. In 2018 they voted in their parliaments and leaders. In 2022 they voted to be annexed to Russia.

Meanwhile, in somewhat of a surprise statement, Vladyslav Vlasiuk, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s commissioner for sanctions policy, said they are open to the removal of economic sanctions against Russia as part of a negotiated peace deal.
As if Ukraine has any control over sanctions, as is evidenced by their closest and most fervent supporters (the EU) continuing to buy energy commodities. The cold, hard reality is that any country that wishes to can lift their own sanctions.
For those Ukrainians who surrender, their lives will be spared. In fact, Ukrainian prisoners are well treated. They either choose to remain on Russian territory or will help rebuild the smoking ruins in the western regions our money and weapons caused.
For those units who committed mass rapes and murders of women and children, life in a Russian prison is far worse than execution.
Trump needs to order all American and NATO officers, servicemen, and mercenaries to surrender, as he has adopted this war.
If he does not, and/or they don’t surrender their bodies will be backfilled in ditches as the already million+ killed due to our policies before them.
We can be sure that Putin is watching the US activity in Yemen and how it effects Iran.
Iran and Russia are in a strategic alliance. I hope Trump is prepared to deal with Putin in light of this.
Fear not, the EU has a new plan to finance their military needs.
They are going to use ‘ private ‘ bank accounts to jump start this necessary expense.
The ‘ private ‘ citizens will also be guarantors of all borrowed funds.
No budgetary blowups, no cutting off of the teat, no need to notify the public.
